Behavior of Serbian Tourists During Economic Crisis: Two Empirical Researches

Tourist’s behavior research is focused on understanding and explaining the factors that affect tourist’s preferences and holiday destination choice. In this paper is analyzed the impact of the global economic crisis on the preferences toward leisure travels of the residents from Serbia. The paper is based on researches conducted in 2006-2009, through travel agencies and in 2011 on the general population major of age with support of TNS Medium Gallupa. Better understanding of the perception process and how tourists react to certain factor can give more accurate information on the dynamics of tourism demand and its dependence on tourist’s perception

THE IMPACT OF ECONOMIC CRISIS AND NON-ECONOMIC FACTORS ON THE TOURISM INDUSTRY IN ZLATIBOR

Tourism has recorded a favorable development trend in the previous decades. Despite the fact that it was occassionaly exposed to adverse effects of the crises caused by numerous economic and non-economic factors, tourism has managed to recover significantly faster and record a higher growth rate compared to the entire world economy. This paper analyses the effects of the economic crisis and other non-economic factors on tourist movements in Serbia during the period 2007-2014, with special emphasis on Zlatibor as a popular tourism destination. The aim of this paper is to show that the aforementioned crisis had a major impact on the movements of domestic and foreign tourists in Serbia and Zlatibor during the analyzed period. Based on the available data, research was conducted and the results showed that the economic factors primarily led to the reduction in the number of tourists in Serbia, while the economic crisis had more impact on domestic travel than on the movements of foreign tourists in our country

Analiza stanja ekonomskih i socijalnih prava u Republici Srbiji : izveštaj o primeni Međunarodnog pakta o ekonomskim, socijalnim i kulturnim pravima

Tekst analize prati strukturu Međunarodnog pakta o ekonomskim, socijalnim i kulturnim pravima, posvećujući dužnu pažnju pojedinim problemima za koje su autori procenili da su od naročitog značaja. Kroz kritiku normativnih rešenja i/ili prakse njihove primene, izloženi su osnovni međunarodni standardi u ovoj oblasti. Njihovom primenom se može doći do značajno kvalitetnijih rešenja koja će garantovati istinsku zaštitu svih pojedinac od strane države, dovoljnu da im omogući ne samo fizičko preživljavanje u teškim životnim okolnostima, već i mogućnost da te okolnosti preokrenu i ponovo postanu punopravni članovi zajednice. Načela solidarnosti, socijalne pravde i socijalne zaštite od strane države, osnovni su postulati o kojima se vodi računa kada je reč o predlaganju promene politika, normiranja i prakse primene propisa
