: Islamic Syariah and Ngangkang Style: Identifying Local Wisdom and Acehnese Women Identity. This article studies the regulation issued by Lhokseumawe Mayor who banned the women from straddling while sitting on motorcycle, regarding it as against the Islamic law. This regulation has sparked strong criticism not only from activist but also from pluralist, both inside and outside the Aceh province alike. For some, this regulation is considered as backward step and for others as a form of discrimination against women\u27s right. One key to understand this problem is by looking at the Acehnese identity and culture which constitute aspects of anthropology. The writer concludes that such law is neither the best way to protect the women nor the Islamic solution, but an ancient culture to be popularized by the Mayor to direct the attention of the Lhokseumawean as if he has fulfilled their interest. By introducing this regulation he seems to protect morality and behavior, but at the same time he has discriminated his own people

Resistensi Ulama Dayah Aceh Tamiang Terhadap Hak-hak Perempuan Dalam Khi

KHI menurut beberapa kalangan sebagai wujud pembaharuan hukum Islam di Indonesia yang juga diklaim sebagai hukum yang banyak membela hak-hak perempuan, sekalipun masih ada kalangan yang berpendapat sebaliknya. Tulisan ini mengkaji bagaimana respons Ulama Dayah Aceh Tamiang terhadap pemberlakuan Kompilasi Hukum Islam (KHI), khususnya yang terkait dengan hak-hak kaum perempuan yang diatur dalam masalah pencatatan nikah, keabsahan talak dan harta bersama. Tulisan ini berangkat dari penelitian yang dilakukan terhadap Ulama Dayah Aceh Tamiang dengan menggunakan metode interviu dan observasi. Ada tiga teori yang dipergunakan dalam menganalisis data penelitian ini, yakni; Teori Relasi Negara dan Agama, Teori Otoritas Ulama dan Negara, dan Teori Concervative Turn. Penulis menemukan bahwa penentangan Ulama Dayah terhadap KHI dapat diidentifikasi pada dua tingkatan. Pertama, mereka tidak sependapat dengan beberapa aspek dari KHI seperti; pendaftaran pernikahan, harta kekayaan bersama dan prosedur hukum perceraian. Kedua, secara faktual bahwa Ulama Dayah tidak sepenuhnya terlibat dalam proses penyusunan rancangan naskah KHI tersebut

Pentingnya Pembentukan Undang-undang Lintas Transit di Selat Malaka Bagi Indonesia dan Malaysia

Indonesia and Malaysia are bordering contries the Malacca Strait which has been ratified by UNCLOS in 1982. Found in the UNCLOS 1982 transit Passage in the Malacca Stra;t not including the te"itorial sea, while there are parts of the territorial sea in the Malacca Strait. so that, Indonesia and Malaysia did not receive the full rights of sovereignty as the territorial sea. Transit passage only regulates passage on the high seas and EEZ. Domestic laws may not discriminate to the user states and should comply based on International law. Indonesia and Malaysia need to establish domestic laws regarding transit passage and fight back rights and responsibilities of the strait states to International community

Some of the technologies are currently implemented, among others, technologies Worldwide Interoperability for Microwave Access (WiMAX) and Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi). The second technology is a wireless networking technology that is being rapidly adopted. When this is not the only computer connected to the internet but everyday appliances such as cellular phones, PDAs, and so well connected to the internet. Conducted research aimed to compare the use of WiMAX technology and Wi-Fi interms of service, coverage, standards, frequency speed of both technologies. Sinkronisasi Data User Antara Sistem Informasi Perpustakaan Dengan Sistem Informasi Akademik

Banyak cara yang digunakan komputer untuk dapat melakukan remote procedure call, salah satunya adalah menggunakan XML-RPC yang merupakan protokol sederhana serta dapat mendukung distribusi pemrosesan berstandar internet. XML-RPC merupakan fenomena dalam sistem jaringan, spesifikasi dan implementasinya dapat membuat software bekerja pada sistem operasi yang berbeda untuk melakukan procedure call melalui internet atau intranet. Untuk dapat melakukan permintaan data dan transfer data pada sistem yang akan dibangun, dilakukan penelitian dengan mengimplementasikan XML-RPC pada database sistem informasi akademik yang merupakan bagian dari sistem informasi perguruan tinggi di Universitas Bina Darma yang memberikan informasi tentang mahasiswa yang aktif pada masa studi untuk dapat ditransfer ke dalam sistem informasi perpustakaan khususnya pada data keanggotaan. Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Produksi Sektor Pertanian di Propinsi Aceh

. This study aims to determine the factors that affect the production of the agricultural sector in the Aceh province. Furthermore, these factors can determine the level of production growth in the agricultural sector in the GDP of Aceh can be analyzed properly. The data used in this research is secondary data are time series from 1985 to 2013. The analysis model used is multiple linear regression model (multiple regression) were estimated by Ordinary Least Square method (OLS). The results showed that the variable labor, Domestic Investment (DCI), and the land area and a significant positive effect on the production of the agricultural sector in Aceh province. Based on these results, it is suggested to the government in order to maintain the stability of the economy in the Aceh province to implement a policy that is relevant. Thus, factors that affect for agricultural production growth in GDP at Aceh province could be optimized
