Why is this project important? A sales management portal is a phenomenal way to explain the importance of marketing or sales within the organization. it involves the possible way for all the people to get connected and get the information they may need for potential sales. Indeed, portal is a doorway for the process of marketing and get to the next step of any business. What problem does it solves? This project will cover all the options about the selling activities, where management can easily access the detailed report about the sales team and managing their performance. Therefore, the management will have the option of accessing updated information through their DASHBOARD and can leave important notes to the employee. The other important benefit includes, all the information about the clients and the communication between the sales team and the managers will be easily accessible for future purposes. Does it provide a new application/service, replace an existing application/service, or enhance an existing application/service? This project will cover more focused functionalities, such as: USER FRIENDLY OPTIONS: the designed features used in this project is easily understandable to anyone. NOTES: this is an additional feature, where the sales team can leave their opinion or comments in order to know the management about the ongoing work, which in turn the management can give their feedbacks. OPPORTUNITY: in addition to above, there is another feature included in this project where the sales person can easily evaluate the possibility of having opportunities to finalize the initiation of project. The Sales Management Portal will be available for its final presentation and release before 5th December 2016

    Integrated real-time control strategy in multi-tank A2O process for biological nutrient removal treating real domestic wastewater

    AbstractAn integrated real-time anaerobic–anoxic/oxic (A2O) operated with multi-tank called IMT–A2O process was designed and operated with fluctuating influent loads for biological nutrient removal for treating real domestic wastewater. IMT–A2O process, a “phased isolation tank” technology, varies both aeration pattern and flow path in a continuous flow multi-tank system to force fluctuation of organic and nutrient concentrations in process reactors. Using an eight-phase cycle, desired biochemical transformations, are accomplished at different times in the same tank. On-line sensors (pH, ORP, and DO) were used as real-time control parameters to adjust the duration of each operational phase in the IMT–A2O process. The control system is an algorithm that automatically adjusts the cycle length to the influent wastewater characteristics according to the end points. It was found that on-line sensor values of pH, ORP, and DO were somehow related with the dynamic behaviors of nutrient concentrations in IMT–A2O. The algorithm acts in the reaction phases of the IMT–A2O cycle using ORP and pH break points of tank one to distinguish the end of denitrification and the beginning of phosphorus release, pH break point of tank two to control the end of denitrification and beginning of phosphorus release and a sudden increase in DO pattern, pH break point and ORP to control phosphorus uptake and the end of the nitrification process. Although the fluctuations in raw wastewater concentration are extreme; an influent with a low C/N ratio is deficient in organic carbon, and a low carbon source level can limit the overall biological denitrification process, the average removal efficiencies achieved for COD, ammonia–nitrogen, total nitrogen and total phosphorus were not less than 76.11%, 87.78%, 76.45% and 83.75%, respectively, using the integrated real-time control strategy. The integrated IMT–A2O exhibited a better performance in nutrient removal than the fixed-time IMT–A2O process

    Male Obesity and Reproductive Health

    Obesity has reached epidemic proportions globally, and all this evidence suggests that the situation is likely to get worse ahead. A combination of an increasingly sedentary lifestyle and unfavorable diet in the western world has resulted in increasing numbers of overweight and obese children and adults. According to the WHO, approximately 1.6 billion adults were classed as being overweight and 400 million adults were obese in 2005. Also gaining attention is the reported decline in semen quality and male reproductive potential over the past 50 years. Surprisingly, such decreases have not been reported in regions where obesity is less prevalent. Since this decline in fertility has occurred in parallel with increasing rates of obesity, the possibility that obesity is a cause of male infertility and reduced fecundity should be addressed. Effects of obesity on female fertility have been studied extensively. Weight loss in anovulatory women restores fertility and increases the likelihood of ovulation and conception. In contrast to the extensive knowledge of the effects of obesity on female fertility, male factor infertility as a result of obesity has been overlooked, even after the discovery of a threefold increase in the incidence of obesity in patients with male factor infertility, demanding the concern over m ale obesity with respect to infertility

    The evaluation of students’ expected performance and course effectiveness play a vital role in determining the course contribution toward meeting the program’s learning objectives or outcomes. The success of any course not only requires a well-designed syllabus with clearly defined course learning outcomes and the use of appropriate outcome-based teaching and assessment methods, but also a systematic approach to document and analyze the entire assessment data and results. Such an approach will be helpful in providing a better insight and understanding of students’ competency levels achieved in all course learning outcomes which ultimately would facilitate course instructors in their efforts to improve course curricula and to introduce reforms in teaching and assessment processes. This paper presents a simple and easy-to-use system that aids course instructors in recording and analyzing the results of various assessment instruments administered in their courses. A detailed analysis provided by the system would also guide curriculum planners and assessors in suggesting reforms and improvements at the program level

    Strong Convergence Theorems for Quasi-Bregman Nonexpansive Mappings in Reflexive Banach Spaces

    We study a strong convergence for a common fixed point of a finite family of quasi-Bregman nonexpansive mappings in the framework of real reflexive Banach spaces. As a consequence, convergence for a common fixed point of a finite family of Bergman relatively nonexpansive mappings is discussed. Furthermore, we apply our method to prove strong convergence theorems of iterative algorithms for finding a common solution of a finite family equilibrium problem and a common zero of a finite family of maximal monotone mappings. Our theorems improve and unify most of the results that have been proved for this important class of nonlinear mappings

    Proline enhances antioxidative enzyme activity, photosynthesis and yield of Cicer arietinum L. exposed to cadmium stress

    Seeds of chickpea inoculated with Rhizobium were sown in pots supplemented with different doses of cadmium (0, 25, 50 or 100 mg per kg of soil). At the stage of 30 days after sowing (DAS), the plants were sprayed with 20 mM solution of proline and were sampled at 90 DAS to assess the various parameters. The foliar treatment of proline resulted in the alleviation of the adverse effects generated by metal exposure, which wasexpressed in terms of the increase in plant growth. The activity of carbonic anhydrase in the cadmium-fed plants sprayed with proline was higher than that of control. The proline applied as foliar spray increased the photosynthetic attributes and yield characteristics in the cadmium-stressed plants. The activity of antioxidative enzymes increased with increasing concentration of cadmium. Maximum values were recorded in the plants exposed to 100 mg cadmium per kg of soil

    A Bibliometric Study of Communications Published in Journal of Informetrics from 2012 to 2016

    This research work exemplifies a bibliometric study of communications published in the Journal of Informetrics from 2012 to 2016. The main schema and source used for this study is the Web of Science domain. A bibliometric analysis of 459 records was conducted using MS Excel. The study indicated that the maximum number of articles were in the year 2016, representing 23% of total contributions. Top contributing organizations during the study period were Max Planck Society of Germany, Indiana University of USA, and University Roma Tor Vergata of Italy. Top contributing authors included Lutz Bornmann, Mike Thelwall, and Ludo Waltman. China led top contributing countries followed by the United States of America and Italy. Authorship collaboration was dominated by multi-authored contributions as 72.11% of the communications were multi-authored while 27.89% of communications were single-authored. The degree of collaboration of JOI communications was found to be 72.1%. The average number of authors for JOI communications was 2.44. The highest number of references and tables/figures were appended to the communications published in JOI during 2016. Most of the papers (76%) accepted for publication in JOI were published within two months. This study investigated papers published in the Journal of Informetrics during 2012- 2016 only. This paper is valuable for teachers, researchers, and librarians who want to see the contemporary trends of published articles in the Journal of Informetrics and seek possible areas for further research

    Improving the Antibacterial Activity of Ceftazidime by Inulinase Purified from Staphylococcus Aureus

    Inulinase is an enzyme catalyzing the hydrolysis of inulin, a plant stored polysaccharide, into fructoses and fructo- oligosaccharides that have a large spectrum of applications ranging from food industry to bioethanol production and pharmacology.Eight isolates of Staphylococcus aureus were isolated from agricultural rhizosphere soil samples with isolation percentage(32%)   and screened for higher inulinase production and found that Staphylococcus aureusS3 was the best producer. Inulinase was  partially purified with ammonium sulfate at 70% saturation and the specific activity reached to (7.01)U/mg protein. Inulinase led to enhancement ceftazidime activity against the bacteria and  gram positive bacteria more sensitive than negative bacteria to combination of inulinase and ceftazidime. These finding indicate that antistaphylococcal activity of ceftazidime antibiotic has increased in the presence of inulinase enzyme and the inulinase may be useful adjuvant agent for the treatment of S. aureus infections in combination with this antibiotic
