    BICYCLE SHARING IN CHINA: PAST, PRESENT, AND FUTURE

    This paper systematically explicates the historical developmental stages of China’s bicycle sharing economy including current and future business models. This paper also identifies problems that exist in the evolution of China’s bicycle sharing and provides potential solutions. Furthermore, it proposes a fifth-generation bicycle sharing model, the “intelligent dock-less bicycle sharing” model and analyzes its characteristics and development. The paper concludes with a discussion on the limitations of the study and future research directions

    Cavotricuspid isthmus ablation for atrial flutter guided by contact force related parameters: A systematic review and meta-analysis

    BackgroundContact force (CF) and related parameters have been evaluated as an effective guide mark for pulmonary vein isolation, yet not for linear ablation of the cavotricuspid isthmus (CTI) dependent atrial flutter (AFL). We thus studied the efficacy and safety of CF related parameter-guided ablation for CTI-AFL.MethodsSystematic search was performed on databases involving PubMed, EMbase, Cochrane Library and Web of Science (through June 2022). Original articles comparing CF related parameter-guided ablation and conventional parameter-guided ablation for CTI-AFL were included. One-by-one elimination, subgroup analysis and meta-regression were used for heterogeneity test between studies.ResultsTen studies reporting on 761 patients were identified after screening with inclusion and exclusion criteria. Radiofrequency (RF) duration was significantly shorter in CF related parameter-guided group (p = 0.01), while procedural time (p = 0.13) and fluoroscopy time (p = 0.07) were no significant difference between two groups. CF related parameter-guided group had less RF lesions (p = 0.0003) and greater CF of catheter-tissue (p = 0.0002). Touch-up needed after first ablation line was less in CF related parameter-guided group (p = 0.004). In addition, there were no statistical significance between two groups on acute conduction recovery rates (p = 0.25), recurrence rates (p = 0.92), and complication rates (p = 0.80). Meta-regression analysis revealed no specific covariate as an influencing factor for above results (p > 0.10).ConclusionCF related parameters guidance improves the efficiency of CTI ablation, with the better catheter-tissue contact, the lower RF duration and the comparable safety as compared with conventional method, but does not improve the acute success rate and long-term outcome

    Enhanced recovery after surgery program alleviates neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio and platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio in patients undergoing gynecological surgery

    BackgroundTo evaluate the efficacy of the enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) programs on the systemic inflammatory response (SIR) of patients following gynecological surgery, a randomized controlled trial was performed to compare the ERAS programs with the conventional perioperative care programs. Furthermore, novel SIR markers could be identified to evaluate the ERAS programs of gynecological surgery.MethodsPatients undergoing gynecological surgery were randomly allocated to either the ERAS group or the conventional group. The correlations between the elements of ERAS protocols and SIR markers following gynecological surgery were evaluated.ResultsA total of 340 patients who underwent gynecological surgery were enrolled (ERAS = 170; conventional = 170). First, we identified whether the ERAS programs after gynecological surgery reduced the perioperative difference between neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR). Interestingly, first flatus time postoperatively, visual analog scale (VAS) score of patients was positively correlated with the perioperative difference NLR or PLR. Moreover, we discovered that the perioperative difference NLR or PLR was correlated with elements of ERAS protocol, including first sips of water, first semifluid diet postoperatively, pelvic drain duration, and out-of-bed time of patients.ConclusionWe originally reveal that certain elements of ERAS programs alleviated SIR to operation. The implementation of ERAS programs enhances postoperative recovery after gynecological surgery via improving system inflammatory status. NLR or PLR could be the novel and inexpensive marker to assess ERAS programs in gynecological surgery.Clinical trial registration:ClinicalTrials.gov, identifier, NCT03629626

    Generation of PCV2 in PK15 cells transfected with recombinant baculovirus containing a 1.1 copy of the PCV2 genome

    Porcine circovirus associated diseases (PCVAD) caused by PCV2 are responsible for severe economic losses in the swine industry. The mechanism of PCV2 replication has not been fully elucidated yet. PCV2 may be successfully rescued by means of either an infectious DNA clone containing the full length of the viral genomic DNA, or from PCV2-infected clinical tissues in PK15 cell culture. However, viruses harvested by both methods have low titres. In this study, PCV2 was prepared with a higher titre from PK15 cells infected by recombinant baculoviruses containing 1PCV2 (one stem-loop structure) or 1.1PCV2 (two stem-loop structure) genomic DNA copy. In addition, infectious DNA clones containing two stem-loop structures in either plasmid or baculovirus backbones are capable of generating a higher virus titre than the DNA clones with only one copy of stem-loop structure

    Genome-wide analysis of long non-coding RNA expression profile in porcine circovirus 2-infected intestinal porcine epithelial cell line by RNA sequencing

    Porcine circovirus-associated disease (PCVAD), which is induced by porcine circovirus type 2 (PCV2), is responsible for severe economic losses. Recently, the role of noncoding RNAs, and in particular microRNAs, in PCV2 infection has received great attention. However, the role of long noncoding RNA (lncRNA) in PCV2 infection is unclear. Here, for the first time, we describe the expression profiles of lncRNAs in an intestinal porcine epithelial cell line (IPEC-J2) after PCV2 infection, and analyze the features of differently expressed lncRNAs and their potential target genes. After strict filtering of approximately 150 million reads, we identified 13,520 lncRNAs, including 199 lncRNAs that were differentially expressed in non-infected and PCV2-infected cells. Furthermore, trans analysis found lncRNA-regulated target genes enriched for specific Gene Ontology terms (P < 0.05), such as DNA binding, RNA binding, and transcription factor activity, which are closely associated with PCV2 infection. In addition, we analyzed the predicted target genes of differentially expressed lncRNAs, including SOD2, TNFAIP3, and ARG1, all of which are involved in infectious diseases. Our study identifies many candidate lncRNAs involved in PCV2 infection and provides new insight into the mechanisms underlying the pathogenesis of PCVAD

    Hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC) provides an alternative approach to effectively separate small polar compounds on polar stationary phases. The purpose of this work was to review the options for the characterization of HILIC stationary phases and their applications for separations of polar compounds in complex matrices. The characteristics of the hydrophilic stationary phase may affect and in some cases limit the choices of mobile phase composition, ion strength or buffer pH value available, since mechanisms other than hydrophilic partitioning could potentially occur. Enhancing our understanding of retention behavior in HILIC increases the scope of possible applications of liquid chromatography. One interesting option may also be to use HILIC in orthogonal and/or two-dimensional separations. Bioapplications of HILIC systems are also presented

    In proteomics, nanoflow multidimensional chromatography is now the gold standard for the separation of complex mixtures of peptides as generated by in-solution digestion of whole-cell lysates. Ideally, the different stationary phases used in multidimensional chromatography should provide orthogonal separation characteristics. For this reason, the combination of strong cation exchange chromatography (SCX) and reversed-phase (RP) chromatography is the most widely used combination for the separation of peptides. Here, we review the potential of hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography (HILIC) as a separation tool in the multidimensional separation of peptides in proteomics applications. Recent work has revealed that HILIC may provide an excellent alternative to SCX, possessing several advantages in the area of separation power and targeted analysis of protein post-translational modifications
