    Effect of Film Blowing Parameters on Tensile Strength

    In this study polyethylene film was made while some of the film blowing parameters were changed. These parameters were the extruder speed, rolling speed and film diameter. From the films samples were cut in two directions (parallel and perpendicular to the rolling direction), then tensile strength and geometric properties were examined. These measurements are appropriate to confirm the orientation process and to show the effect of the parameters. The fact that extruder and rolling speed influence geometric sizes, was revealed. Generally, the extruder or rolling speed raises film width and reduces film thickness. Also processing diameter has a similar effect for these properties. Extruder or rolling speed increases, while diameter demolishes tensile strength. However, these curves do not show linear behavior. The phenomenon of orientation was confirmed, while usually the parallel samples have the highest tensile strength

    A Comparative Research on Municipal Voluntary Tasks of Three Hungarian and Slovenian Municipalities

    The article summarizes the similarities and differences in voluntary task management of municipalities. For this purpose, we carried out empirical research in three Hungarian and three Slovenian municipalities. Our main objective was to discover which economic and social factors influence the scope of voluntary tasks in Hungary and in Slovenia. We separately analysed six sectors of municipal services, with regard to the different size of the municipalities. Likewise, we only covered the major sectors in which voluntary tasks are most likely to appear and therefore can serve as a basis for comparative analysis. The analysis gradually verified the initial hypothesis of our research that voluntary tasks management is more likely to be present in cities with larger economic powers and is remarkably profounder in municipalities of touristic importance

    Thermal Investigation of flame retarder containing PET

    PET (polyethylene terephthalate) was modified with a flame retardant (FR) additive, which is melamine derivative (MC). The FR additive was mixed to the original PET material in different quantities. . Modified PET samples were investigated by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetry (TG). By TG technique the desolvation and its nature can be measured. With DSC the changes in enthalpy can be investigated, like melting and formation of crystallite fractions. The TG measures were performed in inert (nitrogen) and in oxygen atmosphere, so the effect of oxygen was investigated. In this paper the materials with different doses of FR additive were compared with each other, and conclusion was made from experiment

    Effect of recycling process on PET Melt for Shear Viscosity

    Recycled PET is already used in production, but only in small amount. Our final aim is to increase the regrind percentage in injection molded products. This research is focused on the characterization of original and regrind PET materials. Inherent viscosíties were determined to characterize the materials. Flow curves of pure and regrind materials were measured at different temperatures. It was determined that the viscosity of the recycled material is lower than the value of the original material at each temperature. The molecules of the recycled material were supposed to shorten during the grinding process. If the temperature increases the shear viscosity decreases, but there was no linear correlation between these results. The structure viscous behavior of the polymer melt was revealed, while the viscosíty decreases with increasing shear rate

    Rootkit detection on embedded IoT devices

    IoT systems are subject to cyber attacks, including infecting embedded IoT devices with rootkits. Rootkits are malicious software that typically run with elevated privileges, which makes their detection challenging. In this paper, we address this challenge: we propose a rootkit detection approach for embedded IoT devices that takes advantage of a trusted execution environment (TEE), which is often supported on popular IoT platforms, such as ARM based embedded boards. The TEE provides an isolated environment for our rootkit detection algorithms, and prevents the rootkit from interfering with their execution even if the rootkit has root privileges on the untrusted part of the IoT device. Our rootkit detection algorithms identify modifications made by the rootkit to the code of the operating system kernel, to system programs, and to data influencing the control flow (e.g., hooking system calls), as well as inconsistencies created by the rootkit in certain kernel data structures (e.g., those responsible to handle process related information). We also propose algorithms to detect rootkit components in the persistent storage of the device. Besides describing our approach and algorithms in details, we also report on a prototype implementation and on the evaluation of our design and implementation, which is based on testing our prototype with rootkits that we developed for this purpose

    Halogénmentes égésgátlóval kevert PET anyagokat vizsgáltunk pásztázó differenciális kaloriméterrel (DSC). Változtattuk a hűtés sebességét, és vizsgáltuk a kristályosodás folyamatát, arra keresve a választ, hogy az 1-5 96-ban bekevert égésgátlónak van-e befolyásoló hatása. Az égésgátló mennyiségének növelése a kristályosodási hők és a kristályosodás hőmérsékletének növekedését okozta. Az eredmények alapján érdemes további vizsgálatokat elvégezni

    "A Mikola-hagyaték gondozása" c. kutatási program három területre irányult. (1) Mikola Tibor 1997-ben védte meg akadémiai doktori értekezését, melyben a szamojéd nyelvek történetét tárgyalta. E munkája nem jelent meg nyomtatásban. A kéziratot németre fordíttattuk, majd alapos szerkesztési munkálatokat követően megjelentettük. Tibor Mikola: Studien zur Geschichte der samojedischen Sprachen, aus dem Nachlass herausgegeben von Beáta Wagner-Nagy = Studia-Uralo-Altaica 45, SZTE Finnisch-Ugrisches Institut, Szeged, 175.pp.; ISBN 963 482 679 2 (2) A négyéves program során Wagner-Nagy Beáta elkészítette a nganaszan nyelv morfológiai elemző szótárát. A szótár elektronikus formában készült el, a DB-creator program segítségével használható, alkalmas fonetikai, morfológiai és szintaktikai kutatások végzésére. Mivel jelenleg ez a legteljesebb nganaszan szótár, így lexikai vizsgálatokra is felhasználható. Elektromos formában CD-n terjeszthető, és szerzője tervezi nyomtatott formában való megjelentetését is. (3) Mikola Tibor több évtizedes oktatói munkája során mindig tartott általános uralisztikai tárgyú kurzusokat. E kurzusok tematikáját, valamint Mikola Tibornak a témákhoz kapcsolódó publikációit felhasználva Uralisztika c. oktatási segédanyagot készítettünk, mely mind a magyar szakosok, mind a finnugor szakos hallgatók képzésében hasznosítható. A könyv megjelenése 2006 nyarán várható. | The project targeted three fields. 1. Prof. Tibor Mikola defended his academic dissertation in 1997. Before the start of the project, the work was unpublished. We had the manuscript translated into German, and after a careful edition it was published. (Tibor Mikola: Studien zur Geschichte der samojedischen Sprachen, aus dem Nachlass herausgegeben von Beáta Wagner-Nagy = Studia-Uralo-Altaica 45, SZTE Finnisch-Ugrisches Institut, Szeged, 175. Pp.; ISBN 963 482 679 2) 2. Beáta Wagner-Nagy compiled a Nganasan morphological dictionary during the 4-year program. The dictionary is available in electronic form, its use is supported by DB-creator software and suitable for fonetical, morphological and syntatical research. As this is the most up-to-date Nganasan dictionary, it can be used for lexical investigations. It is available on CD in digital form and the author is planning to publish it, too. 3. Tibor Mikola gave lectures on Uralistics incessantly during his whole carrier. The staff of the Finno-Ugric Dept. of SZTE compiled a course book for students studying Hungarian or Finno-Ugric linguistics using the thematics of Mikola's courses as well as his publications related to these topics
