REGIONAL VACCINATION PROGRAMME: WAYS TO ESTABLISH, RESULTS AND PROSPECTS
The article describes a step-by-step strategy for establishing a regional vaccination programme. The authors draw attention to the need for expansion of the National Schedule given the current domestic epidemiological situation — a significant increase in the frequency of severe pneumonias, meningitis, otitis and their complications. It provides examples of immunization programmes in the Sverdlovsk region, Tyumen, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), shows the importance of the regional component in the National Immunizations Schedule as an effective tool to control infectious disease incidence in the area. Key words: regional programme of vaccination, vaccinoprophylaxis, infection control, children, pneumococcal infection. (Pediatric Pharmacology. – 2010; 7(4):19-23

THE EXPERIENCE OF A COMBINED VACCINE AGAINST DIPHTHERIA, PERTUSSIS, TETANUS, POLIO AND HAEMOPHILUS INFLUENZAE TYPE B IN HEALTHY CHILDREN AND CHILDREN WITH VARIOUS DISABILITIES
An open clinical observation over a period of post-vaccination in 184 children (ages 3 to 18 months), vaccinated and re-vaccinated with the combined vaccine against diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, polio and Haemophilus influenzae type b using the standard procedure. Period of observation was 2009–2010, age of children — 3–4.5–6–18 months. All vaccinated children were divided into 3 groups: I — healthy, II — with allergic diseases, III — with CNS pathology. The features of post-vaccination period in each group have been determined. The general and local vaccination reactions, as in various manifestations and on terms have been evaluated. A combined vaccine demonstrated a good tolerance in healthy children included in the study, as well as in children of a risk group.Key words: diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, polio, Haemophilus influenzae type b, immunization, combined vaccine, post-vaccination period, post-vaccination reactions, children

ASSESSMENT OF EFFICACY OF VACCINOPROPHYLAXIS OF HAEMOPHILUS INFLUENZAE TYPE B INFECTION
The article highlights the issue of preventing frequent acute respiratory infections in pre-school children attending day-care institutions who make up a large group of sick children with long-term conditions, according to the study results. Key bacterial causative agents of infection and inflammatory diseases of the respiratory system and ENT organs in this category of children are S. рneumoniae and Н. influenzae. Being an economically viable procedure, prevention of an infection caused by Н. Influenzae type B results in a dramatic decrease in the incidence of acute respiratory infections and severity of the infection process.Key words: Haemophilus influenzae, anti-haemophilus conjugate polysaccharide vaccine, children

PIMECROLIMUS CREAM IN CLINICAL PRACTICE OF CHILDREN'S ALLERGOLOGIST IMMUNOLOGIST
The object of the investigation was to estimate the basic therapy of atopic dermatitis (ad) in children and to analyze pimecrolimus application in clinical practice of children's allergologists immunologist. A multi centered retrospective study analysis involving 360 children aged 0–17 with atopic dermatitis of different severity was carried out. Insufficient effectiveness of implementation of main points of national program «atopic dermatitis and skin infections in children: diagnostics, treatment and prophylaxis» is determined. 37,4% cases of discrepancies in diagnoses by severity of atopic dermatitis in case of physician evaluation and on the scale of SCORAD, low level of control over blood pressure and high usage of systemic corticosteroids are registered. The application of pimecrolimus is revealed in 11,3% patients. It is essential to use more extensively the strategy of prolonged anti-inflammatory therapy of ad, including pimecrolimus use.Key words: atopic dermatitis, pharmacotherapy, pimecrolimus, children, treatment
