The main problem of hypertension treatment is an effective control of blood pressure (BP) ensuring, which should be kept up to 140/90 mm Hg. There are often combination of hypertension with other diseases (diabetes, podagra, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, coronary heart disease and so on.) in older people, which requires an integrated assessment of human health and regard to interaction of drugs assigned. The aim of the study – to learn published data about the effectiveness of drugs used to stabilize blood pressure in elderly patients with concomitant pathology. Materials and Methods. The material serves the published data about treatment of hypertension in older age groups by several antihypertensive medications. Polimorbidity of such patients is caused by the universal trend of population aging, "rejuvenation" , increasing incidence of chronic diseases, rising of negative influence of different environmental factors (Dranhoy MG, 2007). Results and Discussion. Advisability of combination antihypertensive drugs (diuretic + ACE inhibitor + calcium channel antagonist) in elderly patients with co- and polymorbidity was described. Conclusions. Appointment of Сo-Amlessa for old patients with co- and polymorbidity manifested significant hypotensive effect, which is held during the day, accompanied by patronage organs–targets and manifests a high adherence of patients
