    Wilayah pemukiman di pesisir masih banyak yang tergenang air kotor berasal dari air laut dan air buangan rumah tangga, sehingga berdampak pada kondisi sanitasi penduduk yang sampai saat ini masih belum terselesaikan. Permasalahan ini ditambah lagi dengan rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya perilaku bebas BABS atau Open Defecation Free (ODF). Hal ini dipicu karena masih cukup banyak warga (sekitar 30%) yang masih buang air besar sembarangan dan hanya berpendidikan SD sehingga pengetahuan dan kepedulian masyarakat akan lingkungan masih sangat kurang. Berdasarkan pendataan yang dilakukan oleh Puskesmas Tambakwedi diketahui pemicuan sudah dilakukan di RW 1 dan RW 2 dengan total warga yang masih belum berubah perilaku BABs (open defecation) sebanyak 65 KK. Total warga tersebut tersebar di seluruh RT yang ada di RW 1 dan RW 2. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengimplementasikan modifikasi pemicuan bagi warga yang belum terpicu dan melakukan pembangunan jamban sehat sederhana untuk warga yang belum terpicu. Tahapan umum proses studi ini meliputi pengumpulan dan analisa data, implementasi. Hasil studi lapangan didapatkan 7 rumah bersedia untuk dibangunkan jamban sehat sederhana

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana efektivitas peng-gunaan Instagram sebagai media promosi perpustakaan Universitas Kristen Petra. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan metode wawancara. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah purposive sampling dan untuk menguji keabsahan data, penulis menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perpustakaan Universitas Kristen Petra masih belum efektif dalam menggunakan Instagram sebagai media promosinya. Hal ini disebabkan karena Instagram perpustakaan Universitas Kristen Petra masih belum memberikan informasi yang diharapkan oleh pengunjung perpustakaan Universitas Kristen Petra

    This Research is background by lowering of result of learning IPS of student of class of V SD of Private Sector of Methodist of River of Mangrove of Subdistrict Sinaboi, with the class mean 66,82. While Complete Criterion value Minimize the (KKM) IPS is 75. Among/Between student amounting to 22 people only 8 one who reach the KKM, while 14 people do not reach the KKM. This Research represent the Research of Class Action (PTK) done/conducted aim to to increase result of learning IPS of Student of class of V SD of Private Sector of Methodist of River of Mangrove of Subdistrict Sinaboi with the applying model the direct study. Instrument of data collecting of at this skripsi is activity sheet learn and student and also result of learning. This Skripsi present the data of result of learning obtained from mean of result of learning before action 66,82 mounting 12,04 becoming 78,86 at cycle I. At cycle II mount to become 9,09 with the mean 87,95. Activity learn at first cycle I meeting obtain;get the percentage of equal to 65% with the good category, at second meeting of cycle I experience of the improvement with the percentage 80% good category. Hereinafter first cycle II meeting of activity learn also experience of the improvement with the percentage 90% good category very and at second meeting of cycle II 95% category very goodness. Student activity of at first cycle I meeting obtain;get the percentage 55% category enough, at second meeting experience of the improvement with the percentage 65% good category. At this cycle is student start to comprehend the study activity by applying model the direct study marked with the student activity of at, first cycle II meeting of student activity also experience of the improvement with the percentage 80% good category, and at second meeting of cycle II 90% category very goodness. Result of research in class of V SD of Private Sector of Methodist of River of Mangrove of Subdistrict Sinaboi prove that applying model the direct study can improve the result learn the student of class of V SD of Private Sector of Methodist of River of Mangrove of Subdistrict Sinaboi

    Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Puzzle pada Materi Bilangan Bulat Kelas IV SD Negeri 37 Pekanbaru

    The use of instructional media will greatly assist the effectiveness of the learning process and the delivery of learning materials. The purpose of research is to develop and determine feasibility learning media puzzle on material integers fourth grade of elementary school. This research was conducted at the university FKIP Elementary School Teacher Elementary School and the University of Riau 37 Pekanbaru. type of research is the development by Sugiyono, but is limited to the testing stage product limited scale. The instrument used to collecting the data is validation feasibility puzzle pieces as a learning medium that is filled by three validator. Furthermore, the trial is limited to 31 elementary students in the form of questions and questionnaires reson students who performed at the SD Negeri 37 Pekanbaru. The data is then analyzed using descriptive analysis. The results of the validation of the feasibility of the development puzzle that can be seen in terms of media and materials. Overall results validate the feasibility Puzzle a percentage of 93.33% categorized as very feasible, does not need to be revised. The trial results are limited effectiveness of media seen an increase in the gain by 0.84 high category and student response for good learning media puzzle with a percentage of 86.29%

    Implementasi Model Pembelajaran Berdasarkan Masalah untuk Meningkatkan Proses Pembelajaran IPS Siswa Kelas IV SD Negeri 153 Pekanbaru

    The problems of this research is the low of learning process in Social studies. The low learning result was found at 4th grade of SD Negeri 153 Pekanbaru because the teacher was lack in doing learning process and teacher also didn't apply the learning model in teaching Social. Based on the problems, the alternative way is using appropriate learning model in students' encironment. Problem based learning gives students an opportunity to solve the problem and connect the learning activity in their daily life. The aims of this research is to improve the learning process and the result of Social studies score for 4th grade students of SD Negeri153 Pekanbaru. This research was classroom action research. The sample of this research was 4th grade of SD Negeri 153 Pekanbaru which the total 38 students. The result of the research can be seen in teachers' mean score in 1st cycle which was 60% in Mediocare category . It improved about 10% to 70% in Good category. The 2nd cycle improved to 80% in Good then from 5% to 85% in exellentcategory. Students activity in the 1st cycle had 55% in good category of mean score improved 10% to 65% in good category. In the 2nd cycle, the mean score was 75% in good category improved 10% to 85% in excellent. Data of students acore also had the improvement before the application problem based learning only 16 students could pass the standart score (42,10%) and their mean was 64.31. The improvement in 1ts cycle was 24 students (63.15%) could pass with their mean score was 75.57. The 2nd cycle improved into 33 students (86.64%) with the mean score was 81.57. The total improvement of students score was 26.83%. According to the result, it can be concluded that hypothesis of the application problem based learning can improve the process of social learning for 4th grade students of SD Negeri 153 Pekanbaru
