COMPARATIVE EFFECTS OF THIMALIN, EPITALAMIN, AND VILON UPON THE STATE OF IMMUNITY IN PATIENTS WITH CLINICAL COMPLICATIONS OF APPENDICITIS

Abstract. It is revealed, that significant disturbances of cellular and humoral immunity are observed in patients with complicated course of appendicitis. Intramuscular administration of Thimalin (10 mg per injection), Epitalamin (10 mg per injection) for 10 days or Vilon (10 mkg per injection) during 5 or 10 days, applied as a complement to conventional treatment, proved to exert immunostimulatory effects. Moreover, it promoted healing of surgical wounds by a primary tension, and also reduced terms of the treatment by a mean of 5-6 days. To achieve similar medical effects, a twofold lesser number of Vilon single doses is required, than those of Thimalin and Epitalamin. (Med. Immunol., 2008, vol. 10, N 4-5, pp 455-462)

CONTACTLESS TENSOMETRIC PROCEDURE FOR DETERMINATION OF INTRA-BAL-LISTIC PARAMETERS OF ACCELERATION OF LAUNCHED OBJECTS IN BARRELLED FACILITIES OF THE GUN TYPE

Представлены результаты внедрения бесконтактной тензометрической методики определения параметров движения метаемых объектов в ствольных установках пушечного типа (x-t-диаграмма движения, скорость, ускорение). По зарегистрированным деформациям внешней поверхности стенки ствола и камеры сгорания в контролируемых сечениях определено распределение давления пороховых газов в заснарядном пространстве от времени и пути. Приведено сопоставление экспериментальных данных тензометрической методики с результатами измерений, полученными с помощью других методик регистрации, основанных на различных физических принципах.The results are presented with regard to introduction of a contactless tensometric procedure for determination of motion parameters of launched objects in barrelled facilities of the gun type (a x-t motion diagram, a velocity, acceleration). According to recorded deformations of an outer surface of a barrel wall and of a combustion chamber in controlled cross-sections the pressure distribution of powder gases was defined by time and a path behind projectile space. A comparison is given between the experimental data of a tensometric procedure and the measurement data achieved by the help of other recording techniques on the basis of various physical principles
