Analiza otrova poskoka (V. ammodytes a) dvostrukom difuzijom

The results of double diffusion analysis of the native and dialyzed Ammodytes viper venom are presented. It is found that a group of antigens was lost from the native venom during dialysis procedure, another group being insoluble in distilled water was eliminated from the aqueous venom solution by filtration. The approximative number and characteristics of precipitation lines produced by the native venom or isolated venom fractions with the immune horse serum in agar-gel are reported.Izvedena je imunoprecipitaciona difusiona analiza toksina poskoka (Vipera ammodytes a.) u agar gelu (Sl. 1). Antigeni upotrebljeni u eksperimentima bili su: (1) sirovi otrov poskoka, antigeni otrova koji ne difundiraju kroz celofansku membranu (2), u vodi topivi dio (3), te u dejoniziranoj vodi netopivi antigeni iz nativnog otrova (4). Kao antivenin (S23) upotrebljen je koncentrirani imuni konjski serum. Iz rezultata difuzione analize vidi se, da se jedna grupa antigena (d) sirovog otrova gubi iz vodene otopine u toku dijalize, dok se iz dijaliziranog otrova mogu filtracijom odstraniti u vodi netopivi antigeni (i). Određen je približni broj precipitacionih linija odnosno antigenih komponenata u nativnom otrovu i iz njega izoliranim frakcijama

A Contribution to the Biochemical Characterization of Allergens in Pollen Extracts of Secale Cereale

Buffe:r; extracts of pollen from Secale cereale as used ii+ therapy of pollinosis were prepa~edl. All the extracts were found active upon intradermal test in pollen sensitive subjects. Electro;phoretic and chromatographic analysis revealed that the extracts contain seven ninhydrin reacting components. Two amino acids, proline and [ysine, and five others (very probably polypeptides) were found to be components of the extract. Two major peptide components (C2 and D) were isolated and amino acids composition of acid hydrolyzates determined. Component C2 contained Asp., Glu., Ser., Gly., Thr., Lys., Tyr., (Cys.?), and D component Asp., Glu., Ser., (Cys.?), Gly., Thr., Tyr., V,al., Pro. I:n the original pollen extract\u27s hydrolyzate His., Phen., Leu., not certainly Tryp,, and Isoleu. were found in addition to the amino acids cited above. Of carbohydrates glucose, galactose and fructose were detected

Phosphatidase A Activity of Ammodytes Viper Venom

The venom of Vipera Ammodytes was resolved by electrophoresis in seven proteinic components. These components were tested for phosphatidase A activity. The reliability of the method for haemolysis activity determination is discussed

Ranije smo objavili sintezu azo spojeva 5-oksi- 2- metil-3- karbetoksipirola i fenilarsinskih kiselina, te priredivanje arsenobenzenskih derivata ovih kiselina. Global Jacquet-Langlands correspondence, multiplicity one and classification of automorphic representations

In this paper we show a local Jacquet-Langlands correspondence for all unitary irreducible representations. We prove the global Jacquet-Langlands correspondence in characteristic zero. As consequences we obtain the multiplicity one and strong multiplicity one theorems for inner forms of GL(n) as well as a classification of the residual spectrum and automorphic representations in analogy with results proved by Moeglin-Waldspurger and Jacquet-Shalika for GL(n).Comment: 49 pages; Appendix by N. On unitarizability in the case of classical p-adic groups

In the introduction of this paper we discuss a possible approach to the unitarizability problem for classical p-adic groups. In this paper we give some very limited support that such approach is not without chance.
