On Microscopic Origin of Integrability in Seiberg-Witten Theory
We discuss microscopic origin of integrability in Seiberg-Witten theory,
following mostly the results of hep-th/0612019, as well as present their
certain extension and consider several explicit examples. In particular, we
discuss in more detail the theory with the only switched on higher perturbation
in the ultraviolet, where extra explicit formulas are obtained using
bosonization and elliptic uniformization of the spectral curve.Comment: 24 pages, 1 figure, LaTeX, based on the talks at 'Geometry and

On Integrable Systems and Supersymmetric Gauge Theories
The properties of the N=2 SUSY gauge theories underlying the Seiberg-Witten
hypothesis are discussed. The main ingredients of the formulation of the
finite-gap solutions to integrable equations in terms of complex curves and
generating 1-differential are presented, the invariant sense of these
definitions is illustrated. Recently found exact nonperturbative solutions to
N=2 SUSY gauge theories are formulated using the methods of the theory of
integrable systems and where possible the parallels between standard quantum
field theory results and solutions to integrable systems are discussed.Comment: LaTeX, 38 pages, no figures; based on the lecture given at INTAS

Extended Seiberg-Witten Theory and Integrable Hierarchy
The prepotential of the effective N=2 super-Yang-Mills theory perturbed in
the ultraviolet by the descendents of the single-trace chiral operators is
shown to be a particular tau-function of the quasiclassical Toda hierarchy. In
the case of noncommutative U(1) theory (or U(N) theory with 2N-2 fundamental
hypermultiplets at the appropriate locus of the moduli space of vacua) or a
theory on a single fractional D3 brane at the ADE singularity the hierarchy is
the dispersionless Toda chain. We present its explicit solutions. Our results
generalize the limit shape analysis of Logan-Schepp and Vershik-Kerov, support
the prior work hep-th/0302191 which established the equivalence of these N=2
theories with the topological A string on CP^1 and clarify the origin of the
Eguchi-Yang matrix integral. In the higher rank case we find an appropriate
variant of the quasiclassical tau-function, show how the Seiberg-Witten curve
is deformed by Toda flows, and fix the contact term ambiguity.Comment: 49 page
Crystal isomorphisms in Fock spaces and Schensted correspondence in affine type A
We are interested in the structure of the crystal graph of level Fock
spaces representations of . Since
the work of Shan [26], we know that this graph encodes the modular branching
rule for a corresponding cyclotomic rational Cherednik algebra. Besides, it
appears to be closely related to the Harish-Chandra branching graph for the
appropriate finite unitary group, according to [8]. In this paper, we make
explicit a particular isomorphism between connected components of the crystal
graphs of Fock spaces. This so-called "canonical" crystal isomorphism turns out
to be expressible only in terms of: - Schensted's classic bumping procedure, -
the cyclage isomorphism defined in [13], - a new crystal isomorphism, easy to
describe, acting on cylindric multipartitions. We explain how this can be seen
as an analogue of the bumping algorithm for affine type . Moreover, it
yields a combinatorial characterisation of the vertices of any connected
component of the crystal of the Fock space
M-branes and N=2 Strings
The string field theory of N=(2,1) heterotic strings describes a set of
self-dual Yang-Mills fields coupled to self-dual gravity in 2+2 dimensions. We
show that the exact classical action for this field theory is a certain
complexification of the Green-Schwarz/Dirac-Born-Infeld string action, closely
related to the four dimensional Wess-Zumino action describing self-dual gauge
fields. This action describes the world-volume of a 2+2d ``M-brane'', which
gives rise upon different null reductions to critical strings and membranes. We
discuss a number of further properties of N=2 heterotic strings, such as the
geometry of null reduction, general features of a covariant formulation, and
possible relations to BPS and GKM algebras.Comment: 49 pages, harvmac; 1 figure (uses epsf.tex). References adde
Period Integrals, Quantum Numbers and Confinement in SUSY QCD
We present a direct computation of the period integrals on degenerate
Seiberg-Witten curves for supersymmetric QCD, and show how these periods
determine the changes in the quantum numbers of the states, when passing from
the weak to the strong-coupling domains in the mass moduli space of the theory.
The confinement of monopoles at strong coupling is discussed, and we
demonstrate that the ambiguities in choosing the way in the moduli space do not
influence to the physical conclusions on confinement of monopoles in the phase
with the condensed light dyons.Comment: 16 pages, contribution to special volume on Integrable Systems in

Refined topological amplitudes in N=1 flux compactification
We study the implication of refined topological string amplitudes in the
supersymmetric N=1 flux compactification. They generate higher derivative
couplings among the vector multiplets and graviphoton with generically
non-holomorphic moduli dependence. For a particular term, we can compute them
by assuming the geometric engineering. We claim that the Dijkgraaf-Vafa large N
matrix model with the beta-ensemble measure directly computes the higher
derivative corrections to the supersymmetric effective action of the
supersymmetric N=1$ gauge theory.Comment: 16 pages, v2: reference adde
N=1 Superpotentials from Multi-Instanton Calculus
In this paper we compute gaugino and scalar condensates in N=1 supersymmetric
gauge theories with and without massive adjoint matter, using localization
formulae over the multi--instanton moduli space. Furthermore we compute the
chiral ring relations among the correlators of the theory and check
this result against the multi-instanton computation finding agreement.Comment: 31 pages, uses youngtab.sty, some explanations added, version to

On Combinatorial Expansions of Conformal Blocks
In a recent paper (arXiv:0906.3219) the representation of Nekrasov partition
function in terms of nontrivial two-dimensional conformal field theory has been
suggested. For non-vanishing value of the deformation parameter
\epsilon=\epsilon_1+\epsilon_2 the instanton partition function is identified
with a conformal block of Liouville theory with the central charge c = 1+
6\epsilon^2/\epsilon_1\epsilon_2. If reversed, this observation means that the
universal part of conformal blocks, which is the same for all two-dimensional
conformal theories with non-degenerate Virasoro representations, possesses a
non-trivial decomposition into sum over sets of the Young diagrams, different
from the natural decomposition studied in conformal field theory. We provide
some details about this intriguing new development in the simplest case of the
four-point correlation functions.Comment: 22 page
Modification of silica nanoparticles with stereisomers of p-tert-butylthiacalix[4]arene containing four 2-oxo-2-{[3-(triethoxysilyl)prop-1-yl]amino}ethoxy substituents at the lower rim
© 2017, Pleiades Publishing, Ltd. Three stereoisomers (cone, partial cone, and 1,3-alternate) of p-tert-butylthiacalix[4]arene bearing four anchor propyltriethoxysilane substituents at the lower rim were synthesized for the first time. Surface modification of silica nanoparticles (d = 12 nm) with the synthesized macrocycles gave novel hybride thiacalix [4] arene‒SiO 2 particles. The obtained nanostructured adsorbents were found to efficiently extract nitroaromatic compounds from aqueous solutions. The partial cone and 1,3-alternate thiacalix[4]arene–SiO 2 hybrid particles showed affinity to nitrophenols
