The article is dedicated to analysis of influence of Hong Xiuquan’s on the course of Taiping Rebellion. The main focus of the work is directed on the issue of how the given historical persona has been shaped as a leader of low-income layers of Chinese population. In order to illuminate this question, the author observes the central socio-political ideas implemented by Hong Xiuquan during the Taiping Rebellion as well as his religious views, which had a fundamental role in Taiping’s movement ideology. In the course of the article, the author scrutinizes historical data which indicates such qualities of Hong Xiuquan as striving to achieve the highest outcomes, his persistence in realization of set tasks and ability to lead millions of Chinese peasants purposing on the radical reformation in Chinese state, which had experienced a deep crisis. On the other hand, the article demonstrates Hong Xiuquan’s qualities which have negatively affected the course of the revolutionary movement. To be precise, in the article are presented disadvantages of applying principles of mystical worldview and self-deification to the process of administration. In conclusion, the author, relying on the historical sources, highlights the significance of Hong Xiuquan’s personality and peculiarities of his leadership style in the context of their imprint on the Chinese revolutionary processes in the middle of the XIX century

Modulation of Circumstellar Extinction in a Young Binary System with a Low-Mass Companion in a Noncoplanar Orbit

The cyclic activity model of a young star with the low-mass secondary component (q = M2/M1 <= 0.1) accreting a matter from circumbinary disk is considered. It is assumed that the orbit is circular and the disk and orbital planes are non-coplanar. Sets of hydrodynamics models of such a system have been calculated by the SPH method and then the variations of the circumstellar extinction and phase light curves were determined. The calculations showed that depending on the model parameters and orientation of the system in regards to an observer the different in shape and amplitude light curves can be observed. An important property of the considered models is also the dependence of the mass accretion rate onto the components on the phase of the orbital period. The results of the calculation can be used for analysis of the cyclic activity of UX Ori stars and young stars with the long-lasting eclipses.Comment: 14 pages, 7 figure

Lobbying is an objectively expressed process of interaction between society and government structures. In Russia, lobbying is often associated with corruption-related processes, which negatively affect the state and municipal management efficiency. The article deals with the problem of legal regulation of the lobbying phenomenon and attempts to distinguish lobbying activities in the political sphere from corruption

This article is about the case of actinic reticuloid — the rare dermatosis which clinical presentation is similar to atopic dermatitis, T-cell lymphoma. Good treatment effect was obtained by long cycles (2 cycles for 3 months) of hydroxychloroquine and sun protective therapy included sunscreens SPF 50, nicotinic acid, sun-safe clothes which blocked ultraviolet radiation without any glucocorticosteroid drugs and cytostatic treatment

Statistical methods for analyzing financial statements of Russian organizations in the context of IFRS implementation

    Get PDF
In the context of the transition to international financial reporting standards (hereinafter - IFRS), issues of bringing Russian financial statements closer to an international format are of relevance. In order to develop Russian reporting adapted to the new requirements of the format, the authors have conducted polls of the accounting services of large, medium and small business organizations about the desirability of including the indicators from the minimum list of international reporting articles in their reports. Based on the methods used by the Institute of Statistics in the study of Russian financial statements methods of selective observation, questioning, methods of processing the data obtained, namely, calculating the proportion of reporting indicators using the A. Salai and V. Ryabtsev index, the authors justify the inclusion in the Russian financial reporting a series of indicators proposed by IFRS. The results of the study can be used in the transformation of statements, as well as in the construction of consolidated financial statements generated in Russia in accordance with the requirements of IFRS.peer-reviewe

HETEROGENEITY OF EARLY RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS PATIENTS ACCORDING TO BLOOD GENE EXPRESSION: THEORETICAL BASES OF A DIFFERENTIAL THERAPY APPROACH

    Get PDF
Objective: to assess disease severity in relation to the expression of cell-division cycle genes: p21, a cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor; caspase 3, an apoptotic activity indicator; mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR), a major regulator of cell growth and proliferation; ATG1, a marker of autophagy; and the proinflammatory cytokine tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in the blood of rheumatoid arthritis (RA) patients. Subjects and methods. Thirty-nine early RA patients (mean age 47.1 years) and 47 healthy individuals (mean age 43.1 years) were examined. Gene expression in their peripheral blood cells was assessed using real-time polymerase chain reaction. RA activity was estimated according to DAS28 index and joint destruction. Results. In accordance with mTOR gene expression, the group of RA patients were divided into three subgroups: 1) 18 patients had a significantly lower mTOR gene expression than did the healthy controls (p < 0.01) and upregulated ATG1; 2) 12 patients had the same mTOR gene expression levels as in the healthy controls; p21 ATG1, and caspase 3 were, however, much upregulated; 3) 9 patients showed significant upregulation of all the examined genes as compared to the healthy controls (p < 0.01). The patients from 3 subgroups differed in TNF-α gene expression that was statistically significantly exceeded that in the healthy individuals, the expression being highest in subgroup 3 patients. The subgroups of RA patients showed some differences in clinical and immunological parameters. Particularly, subgroup 2 patients exhibited the lowest morning stiffness values while subgroup 1 patients had much fewer swollen joints than did subgroup 3 patients. In addition, subgroup 2 patients had significantly statistically higher levels of anti-citrullinated antibodies whereas subgroup 3 patients had lower rheumatoid factor concentrations than the other subgroups. Conclusion. Early RA patients represent a heterogeneous group. RA patient subgroups differ in the expression of cell-cycle and TNF-α genes and in some clinical and immunological parameters. Variability in the expression of the cell-division cycle genes in different subgroups of RA patients can indicate different mechanisms involved in the development and progression of the disease and hence the necessity of applying diverse approaches to their therapy

© 2018, Ecozone, OAIMDD. All rights reserved. The issue of spiritual and moral upbringing of student-age youth is quite topical for the contemporary Science and practice. The article substantiates the necessity of spiritual and moral upbringing of the young generation on the basis of Christian values, and highlights as well as the gained experience in the implementation of the Christian values into education system of higher educational institutions. The purpose of the present study is to establish psychological patterns and mechanisms of spiritual and moral upbringing of the student‟s personality through inclusion and acceptance of Christian values. The objective of the research involves the solution of the following tasks: carrying out psychological, theoretical and methodological analysis of the problem on spiritual and moral upbringing of the personality; providing a system of psychological and pedagogical practices designed to promote spiritual and moral upbringing of the student‟s personality; and developing and testing a training program of spiritual formation of the student‟ personality. The authors have proposed the formation mechanisms of spiritual values of the student‟s personality, and developed psychological training program to form spirituality in the student‟s personality
