Wigner-Eckart theorem for tensor operators of Hopf algebras

We prove Wigner-Eckart theorem for the irreducible tensor operators for arbitrary Hopf algebras, provided that tensor product of their irreducible representation is completely reducible. The proof is based on the properties of the irreducible representations of Hopf algebras, in particular on Schur lemma. Two classes of tensor operators for the Hopf algebra Ut_{t}(su(2)) are considered. The reduced matrix elements for the class of irreducible tensor operators are calculated. A construction of some elements of the center of Ut_{t}(su(2)) is given.Comment: 14 pages, late

Phase-sensitive quantum effects in Andreev conductance of the SNS system of metals with macroscopic phase breaking length

The dissipative component of electron transport through the doubly connected SNS Andreev interferometer indium (S)-aluminium (N)-indium (S) has been studied. Within helium temperature range, the conductance of the individual sections of the interferometer exhibits phase-sensitive oscillations of quantum-interference nature. In the non-domain (normal) state of indium narrowing adjacent to NS interface, the nonresonance oscillations have been observed, with the period inversely proportional to the area of the interferometer orifice. In the domain intermediate state of the narrowing, the magneto-temperature resistive oscillations appeared, with the period determined by the coherence length in the magnetic field equal to the critical one. The oscillating component of resonance form has been observed in the conductance of the macroscopic N-aluminium part of the system. The phase of the oscillations appears to be shifted by π\pi compared to that of nonresonance oscillations. We offer an explanation in terms of the contribution into Josephson current from the coherent quasiparticles with energies of order of the Thouless energy. The behavior of dissipative transport with temperature has been studied in a clean normal metal in the vicinity of a single point NS contact.Comment: 9 pages, 7 figures, to be published in Low Temp. Polarized neutron channeling as a tool for the investigations of weakly magnetic thin films

We present and apply a new method to measure directly weak magnetization in thin films. The polarization of a neutron beam channeling through a thin film structure is measured after exiting the structure edge as a microbeam. We have applied the method to a tri-layer thin film structure acting as a planar waveguide for polarized neutrons. The middle guiding layer is a rare earth based ferrimagnetic material TbCo5 with a low magnetization of about 20 mT. We demonstrate that the channeling method is more sensitive than the specular neutron reflection method

On Site Percolation on Correlated Simple Cubic Lattice

We consider site percolation on a correlated bi-colored simple cubic lattice. The correlated medium is constructed from a strongly alternating bi-colored simple cubic lattice due to anti-site disordering. The percolation threshold is estimated. The cluster size distribution is obtained. A possible application to the double 1:1 perovskites is discussed.Comment: 10 pages, 12 figures, Submitted to IJMP

On a general analytical formula for U_q(su(3))-Clebsch-Gordan coefficients

We present the projection operator method in combination with the Wigner-Racah calculus of the subalgebra U_q(su(2)) for calculation of Clebsch-Gordan coefficients (CGCs) of the quantum algebra U_q(su(3)). The key formulas of the method are couplings of the tensor and projection operators and also a tensor form for the projection operator of U_q(su(3)). We obtain a very compact general analytical formula for the U_q(su(3)) CGCs in terms of the U_q(su(2)) Wigner 3nj-symbols.Comment: 9 pages, LaTeX; to be published in Yad. Fiz. (Phys.
