Nanocomposites obtained by embedding of conjugated polymers in porous silicon and silica
oral session 6 " Novel Forms & Structures " [O-27]International audiencePorous silicon and porous silica matrices are filled up by conjugated polymers in order to obtain nanocomposite with enhanced third order optical nonlinearity. The active component is either PDA-TS thermally polymerized in situ or PT12 electropolymerized in porous silicon. The first measurements of the nonlinear properties of these nanocomposites give evidence of a significant increase of the nonlinear refractive index with respect to the standard optical materials
