The research adopted the descriptive analytical quantitative approach to answer the research questions and to test the hypotheses. The population comprised (632) employees with leadership positions (academic and/or management responsibilities) in 10 private universities in the Kingdom of Bahrain. The questionnaire was prepared in light of previous studies. 300 questionnaires were distributed through self-administered survey. 278 employees with leadership positions (presidents, vice-presidents, deans, vice deans, heads of departments and other directors) responded giving a response rate (92.6%). The analysis was conducted using multiple and simple regression to test the hypotheses. The results indicated that leaders’ emotional intelligence had a significant impact on employee retention in private universities in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Furthermore, self-awareness had the most impact on employee retention, followed by emotional sensitivity, and emotional management

Innovation of Economic Management Risk Control in Retailer Supply Chain Based on Differential Equation Model

    No full text
This paper constructs the state transition diagram of the retailer’s economic management risk control in the supply chain. At the same time, we construct the differential equation of the model. Based on the differential equation theory, we establish a dynamic equation model for product demand forecasting, which is suitable for the historical data of the retailer’s supply chain. At the same time, we use the two-party game model to determine the strategy choice of maximizing the income of a single enterprise in the secondary supply chain. The study finds that retailers can only maximize revenue through suboptimal order quantities when the financing limit has a substantially limiting effect

The industrial sector has to be prepared and adaptive to sudden shocks and crises, which can be represented by natural disasters, health or economic crises that create a difficult environment before different human resource managers to find solutions to encounter the immediate threats to corporate performance and ability to survive and grow. With the spread of Corona Virus (COVID 19) pandemic, companies of the industrial sector have to find innovative and creative solutions to face the challenges and transformations resulting in the regions of their operations and their different sectors. In this paper, we discuss the analysis of the effect of applying Artificial Intelligence (AI) to human resources crisis management in the industrial sector with focusing on the effects of COVID-19 crisis on Human Resource Management (HRM). In addition, we suggest a number of recommendations to encounter the consequences of crisis effects and prepare an integrated research agenda to face the discussed challenges

College network education as the main development direction of modern education, although both for professional teachers and students provides a new platform, and provides sufficient conditions for the people to continue learning, but also show more quality problem, so the system understanding of college network education present situation, according to the practice of science of education evaluation system to judge the quality of education, To continuously improve the comprehensive management efficiency of network education in colleges and universities is the focus of attention of college education administrators at present. This paper studies the theoretical definition of ordinary differential equation model as the core, builds a quality evaluation system based on the innovation model of network education in colleges and universities, investigates and analyzes the implementation of network education in a university, and finally puts forward effective prospect prediction and improvement measures combined with the research results

Cloud computing is a rapidly growing technology due to its highly flexible uses and applications. It also has other features such as simplicity, quick data access and reduced data storage costs. Consequently, it has been widely used by many organizations. This widespread use of cloud computing among organizations causes many security issues. Moreover, cloud computing layers are likely to be jeopardized by many security risks such as privileged user access, data location, data segregation, and data recovery. This paper aims to prepare an ample debate of a literature review-based studies that provided important insights to researchers in the scope of security cloud computing. The researcher applied a relevant set of keywords. These keywords are limited to the title, abstract and keywords search archives published between 2010 and June 2018. The database search returned a total of 308 publications. In addition, we conducted backward-forward searches from the reference lists of relevant, quality previous works on the security framework in public cloud computing studies. Then, the researcher filtered the publications to only full text access articles that were written in English only. Finally, this study obtained a many publication. The findings of this paper address many important points such as in this study is recommended to apply behavior recognition with password for improving authentication layer performance in cloud computing. This study finds most of current studies neglected the present of human factor in password-based authentication, and learnability in password-based authentication is highly weak. Despite this, very few studies have adopted the behavior recognition with password in public cloud

Antecedents and Consequences of Work Alienation – A Critical Review

    No full text
Purpose – In the past few decades, the antecedents of work alienation have been analyzed various times in several studies. The consequences of work alienation were also investigated in available literature. However, literature that is more recent seems to be incomprehensive, and does not incorporate both issues of antecedents and outcomes together simultaneously. Therefore, this study tends to focus on exploring the available extensive literature on theories of organizational antecedents and consequences of work alienation. Design/methodology/approach – A systematic literature review of traditional and contemporary theoretical and empirical research studies is conducted to establish the interrelationship between organizational antecedents and consequences of work alienation. This review consolidates propositions, and develops a conceptual and theoretical research framework that interconnects several variables. Findings – Organizational antecedents of work alienation are potentiallyclosely related to work alienation. More particularly, they have considerable potential to lead to work alienation and its consequences. More generally, the outcomes reflect the emerging discussion about the relationship of organizational antecedents of work alienation and creation consequences of work alienation. Research limitations/implications – This paper significantly contributed to the body of knowledge in the areas of antecedents and consequences of work alienation through reviewing literature, which is important in the discussion of the relationship between the current research’s variables antecedents and consequences of work alienation. The suggested model theoretically incorporates organizational antecedents and their effects on work alienation that will assist in identifying the general direction of future research. Originality/value – The formative review presented in this work by underlying the notion of work alienation as a liaison point between its antecedents and consequences has been somewhat limited in available literature to date
