    The background of this study was students' low achievement at X.4 class of SMA Negeri 1 Kateman in learning Math that reached KKM on the material Shape Rank, Roots, and logarithm that 15 of 35 students with a percentage of 42.85%. The aim of this study was to improve learning process and learning outcomes of the students in Math by applying Two Stay Two Stray (TSTS) Cooperative Learning type. The design of this research was the Classroom Action Research consisted of two cycles and at the end of each cycle conducted tests. The subjects of this research were students class X.4 of SMA Negeri 1 Kateman at the second semester of the school year 2015/2016. The students consisted of 10 males and 25 females. The data collection instrument was the observation sheet both of teacher and students activities and Math test. Observations were conducted to collect data on the activities of teachers and students. Math test are used to gather data on the results of students' in learning Math. Based on data analysis of the teacher's and students' activities, it shows that teaching and learning process in Math by applying TSTS cooperative learning type was getting better because the learning process was conducted according to what was planned in the lesson plan. The results show that improvement in students' learning outcomes was 40% on the basic score became 54.29% in the first cycle and 80% in the second cycle. This study concluded that the application of TSTS cooperative learning type can improve the students' learning process and learning outcomes of X.4 class of SMA Negeri 1 Kateman at second semester of academic year 2015/2016

    This study aims to improve the learning process and improvelearning outcomes math class V students of Elementary School 019 Logas in the secondsemester of the 2015/2016 school year by implementing cooperative learning modeltype Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD). The study consisted of two cycles,each cycle consisting of four phases: planning, implementation, observation, andreflection. Each end of the cycle carried out daily tests. Data collected throughobservation and tests in the form of daily tests. Observation is used to collect activitydata of teachers and students during the learning process, while tests are used to collectdata and mathematics learning outcomes will be provided in the form of daily tests. Theresults showed that the activity of teachers and students in learning has been consistentwith the planned implementation of learning. Most of the students to actively participatein the learning process is carried out, such as at the stage of delivering the goals andmotivation of students, the stage of presenting the information, organize students intostudy groups, guiding the group work and study presented the results of the workinggroup, responding to the presentation her friend, evaluate learning outcomes andreward. The results of this study indicate that the application of cooperative learningmodel STAD can improve the learning process and improve learning outcomes mathclass V students of Elementary School 019 Logas in the second semester of the schoolyear 2015/2016

    This research aimed to develop mathematics learning device that are Lesson Plan (LP) and Students Worksheet (SW) based curriculum 2013 on subject quadrilateral through the application of problem based learning. This research and development use development model by Borg and Gall modified by Sugiyono (2008). Development is done through the following steps: (1) potentials and problems; (2) data collection; (3) design products: (4) validation; (5) revision; (6) small group trial; (7) revision; (8) large group trial; and (9) revision. At the stage of potentials and problems, the researchers conducted a needs analysis concluded Core Competence (CC) - Basic Competence (BC) analysis, characteristics of students analysis, and materials analysis. Then, researcher collect the necessary materials to design learning device. Learning device that had been developed then validated by three validators and revised based on the input from validators. The valid learning device then tested in two stages, the small group trial with subjects are eight students of class VII-4 SMP Negeri 3 Tambang and large group trial with subjects are 29 students of class VII-4 SMP Negeri 3 Tambang. Based on the data analysis and discussion can be concluded that the mathematics learning device based curriculum 2013 on subject quadrilateral through the application of problem based learning are valid with an average value for the LP is 3.79 and the average value for SW is 3.82, and is practical to use by learners class VII

    Absract: This research was based on the students achievement in learning mathematics especially grade VII.1 of SMPN 5 Teluk Kuantan under the Mastery Minimum Criteria with percentage of 44.8% on the subject matter about fractions. The research conducted was the Classroom Action Research. The aims of this research is to improve the learning process and results on the students learning mathematic by implementing cooperative learning model structural approach of Numbered Heads Together. There were 29 students in the class consisting 22 boys and 7 girls as the participant of this research. The instruments of data collection in this research were observation sheets and students Mathematic tests. The observation sheets were analyzed in qualitative desciptive, while the students' Mathematic tests were analyzed in quantitative desciptive. The qualitative desciptive showed an improvement of learning process prior to the action on the first and second cycles.. The results of this research showed an increasing number of students learning Mathematic from the basic score with percentage 44,8% to 58,6% on the first test and 82,7% on second test. Based on the result of this research could be concluded that the implementation of Cooperative Learning Model structural approach of Numbered Heads Together can improve the students' achievement of learning Mathematic in grade VII.1 of SMPN 5 Teluk Kuantan in the second semester academic years 2014/2015

    This research is a class action research that aims to improve thelearning process and to improve the student\u27s mathematical problem solving ability byapplying Problem Based Learning (PBL). The subjects of this research are the studentof class X2 Senior High School 1 Tanah merah at first semester of academic years2015/2016, which amounts to 29 students. This research consists of two cycles, eachcycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection.Data collected through observation and student\u27s mathematical problem solving abilitytest. Data analysis is done by observation data analysis and student\u27s mathematicalproblem solving ability data analysis. The action is successful if the scores of teacher\u27sactivities and student\u27s activities increase in every meeting, improve the student\u27smathematical problem solving ability every cycle and improve the classical\u27smathematical problem solving ability. The result of observation show teacher andstudents activities are improve better than before in every meeting. Based on dataanalisys of student\u27s mathematical problem solving ability test show the average N-gainof student\u27s mathematical problem solving ability in first cycle has improve 0,26, itsmean the student\u27s mathematical problem solving ability in low classification and insecond cycle the average N-gain of student\u27s mathematical problem solving ability hasimprove 0,39, its mean the student\u27s mathematical problem solving ability in mediumclassification. The average score of classical\u27s mathematical problem solving abilityhas improve 31,46 in first cycle than beginning test and the average score of classical\u27smathematical problem solving ability has improve 6,15 in second cycle than first cycle.The result of this research showed that Problem Based Learning improve the learningprocess and increase the the student\u27s mathematical problem solving ability of class X2Senior High School 1 Tanah merah at first semester of academic years 2015/2016
