    Hypertension is a degenerative disease that becomes an important health problem can cause various complications for the sufferer of one of the stress factors that affect through through the activation of hypotalamic-pituitary axis. Music therapy is one of the non-pharmacological techniques that has the effect of relaxation, which can affect the hypothalamic-pituitary-and adrenal mechanisms. Degung sunda one of the traditional musical instruments has a regular rhythm and rhythm that has a meditative impact. The objective of the study was to identify the effectiveness of Sundanese music therapy on the decrease of blood pressure in hypertensive patients in Pancalang sub-district, Kuningan Regency. Types of quasi experimental research with nonequivalent control group design. Sampling by purposive sampling technique 50 people with paired t-test data analysis. The results of music therapy therapy degu sunda can lower blood pressure, especially in systolic blood pressure (p value 0.02). There was a significant mean difference between systolic blood pressure in the control group and the intervention and no significant difference in mean diastolic blood pressure in the control group and intervention, Sundanese music therapy can lower blood pressure, especially in systolic blood pressure. The need for improved preventive health services in the form of counseling and health education with the provision of degener music intervention in patients with hypertension

    Analisis Faktor Yang Memengaruhi Self Management Behaviour Pada Pasien Hipertensi

    Hypertension is a chronic disease which requires to be controlled with self-management behaviour, such as diet, exercise, medication and stress management. Self-management behaviour (SMB) is the basis for controlling hypertension and preventing complications of hypertension. The purpose of this study was to determine several factors affecting the SMB and to identify the most dominant factor associated with the SMB in patient hypertension in General Hospital 45 Kuningan, West Java. The data were analyzed using chi square and logistic regression tests. The results showed that there were significant relationships between belief in the effectiveness of therapy (p=0.005;OR= 3.48), self-efficacy (p=0.003; OR=3.67), social support (p=0.015; OR=2.87), and communication between health professional and patient (p=0.008; OR=3.27) and the SMB. Communication between health care workers and patients was identified to be the dominant factor affecting the SMB. Therefore, the ability to communicate effectively is a requirement in the nursing care of patients with hypertension

    Safety culture is a key to support the achievement of occupational health and safety in an organization. An effort to build safety culture is the first step in ensuring patient safety. There are some factors that contribute in the development of safety culture, namely, individual and organizational attitude, leadership, team work, communication, and work load. This study aimed to identify the determinant factors that are related to achievement of patient safety culture in a government-owned hospital in Kuningan Regency. Eighty eight samples of nurses were recruited using incidental sampling technique. The research design was using cross sectional study, the hypothesis testing were using Chi Square and multiple logistic regression. The results showed that there were significant influenced between perception towards management (p= 0.0005, odd rasio 21.3), team work support (p= 0.0005, odd rasio 13.34), work-related stress (p= 0.006, odd rasio 3.94), work satisfaction (p= 0. 002) with patient safety culture. There was not significant influenced between work condition and patient safety (p= 0.507). The multivariate analysis showed that perception towards management was the determinant factor for patient safety culture (p 0.000 < α 0.05). In conclusion, leaders have significant influence in creating patient safety culture. Leaders have authority to implement systems in the organization. Therefore, leadership style, communication technique, and managerial ability are important in order to create a conducive atmosphere for developing patient safety culture. As recommendation, transformational leadership is a model that is appropriate to be applied in order to increase patient safety culture, trainings of effective communication and inter-professional education model are also needed to increase the collaboration skills among health professionals

    Model Pendidikan Interprofesional dalam Upaya Peningkatan Kemampuan Kolaboratif Mahasiswa Kesehatan

    The public demand for the quality of health services continues to increase, patients get interventions from various health professions to address their health problems with their respective analysis and intervention, so frequent repeated reviews and multiple interventions will require professional collaboration. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of the model of interprofesional education to increase the collaborative skills of health students. Types of research mix methods between quantitative and qualitative. Data collection with triangulation through instrument used questionnaire, FGD guidance and semi structured interview. A sample of 20 people consisting of 8 students of nursing, 5 students of public health and 7 midwifery students by following the process of learning together for eight weeks. Result of improvement of student perception toward interprofesional education with average difference 1.7 (P: 0.02), Collaborative ability happened significant improvement between before and after interprofesional education with difference average 3,4 (P 0.025). Student attitudes towards team work with an average difference of 7.3 (P: 0.003). Interprofesional education with problem based learning methods is very effective for improving collaborative skills, and providing cooperative experience. The success of interprofesional education is strongly supported by clarity of objectives and learning topics as well as the breadth of insights and experiences of tutor or facilitator clinics

    Pengembangan Model Blended Learning dalam Meningkatkan Learning Outcome Mahasiswa di Lahan Praktik Klinik Keperawatan

    Praktik klinik keperawatan merupakan elemen penting bagi pendidikan keperawatan. Penempatan yang berkualitas memberi kesempatan kepada mahasiswa untuk pengembangan keterampilan, sosialisasi ke dalam profesi, dan menjadi jembatan antara pembelajaran akademik dan tempat kerja. Pada kondisi pandemic ini seluruh mahasiswa tidak diperkenankan untuk melakukan praktik klinik keperawatan di rumah sakit untuk mengurangi risiko keterpaparan Covid 19, oleh karena itu pembelajaran dilakukan secara online dan offline di tatanan kampus. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan dan menganalisis efektivitas model blended learning dalam praktik klinik keperawatan terhadap peningkatan learning outcome dan tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa program profesi Ners STIKes Kuningan pada departemen Keperawatan Medikal Bedah, dengan membandingkan metode pembelajaran Blended Klinik-Daring dengan metode PBL-Daring serta membandingkan capaian mahasiswa regular dan non regular. Capaian learning outcome dikategorikan tinggi, sedang dan rendah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan pre dan post test. Sampel penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program profesi ners yang sedang melakukan praktik klinik keperawatan medikal bedah, sejumlah 60 orang. Two way anova dan post hoc test digunakan sebagai analisis lanjutan. Berdasarkan hasil analisis tes metode belajar Blended Preseptorship-Daring lebih efektif dalam pencapaian learning outcome keperawatan medikal bedah dengan N-G score 0.50 dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran Blended PBL-Daring dengan nilai F 5.36 dan nilai p 0.001&lt; 0.05 yang menunjukan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara pembelajaran di kelas mahasiswa reguler dan nonreguler dengan pembelajaran Blended Preseptor-Daring dan PBL-Daring, dan memiliki kekuatan hubungan sangat kuat R 0.822. Hasil kuesioner juga ditemukan tingkat kepuasan mahasiswa dengan pembelajaran blended learning baik dengan PBL maupun klinik merasa puas dan metode ini dapat menjadi solusi selama pembelajaran program profesi Ners di masa pandemi.
