    Advances in information and communication technology in the Digital Revolution Era, in addition to positive impacts, also had a negative impact on human character, such as individualist, materialist attitudes, and even rejecting spiritual aspects. Therefore, we need the concept of Strengthening Character Education by optimizing the role of Islamic Religious Education in Schools to educate students who have faith, taqwa, and have good character according to their fitrah. To answer this need, a library research study was conducted which analyzed several papers that were relevant to the hermeneutic approach and content analysis method. This article finds that the optimization of Islamic Religious Education in Strengthening of Character Education in schools can be done by: first, strengthening the character of Muslim teachers who emulate the character of the Prophet SAW as a true educator; secondly, optimization of Islamic Religious Education in Class-based Strengthening Character Education with a tauhid-based science paradigm, integrating Islamic values in learning, and strengthening Islamic Religious Education materials in schools; third, optimization of Islamic Religious Education in school-based Strengthening Character Education by implementing the concept of taqwa-based Islamic education and making surau as a character labor; and fourth, the optimization of Islamic Religious Education in community-based Strengthening Character Education by organizing Islamic parenting and school collaboration with parents and the community in strengthening the character of students

    Evaluasi Mutu Dalam Pembelajaran Agama Islam Di Tengah Pandemi Covid-19 Di SMP Negeri 2 Pleret Bantul Yogyakarta

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan evaluasi mutu pembelajaran agama Islam dan mengetahui faktor penghambat evaluasi mutu pembelajaran agama Islam di tengah pandemi covid-19 di SMP Negeri 2 Pleret. Pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif jenis deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru PAI, dan panitia PAS (Penilaian Akhir Sekolah). Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa SMP Negeri 2 Pleret tergolong sekolah yang bermutu dalam evaluasi mutu pembelajaran agama Islam. Sekolah dikategorikan bermutu karena dapat diukur dengan tes dan non tes terhadap siswa. Bentuk tes tersebut seperti penilaian ulangan harian bersama (PHB), penilaian tengah semester (PTS), dan penilaian akhir semester (PAS). Faktor pengahambat dari evaluasi mutu pembelajaran agama Islam di SMP Negeri 2 Pleret saat pandemi covid-19 yaitu: 1) terdapat beberapa siswa yang tidak memiliki handphone, sehingga terkendala dalam pembelajaran daring. 2) terkendala signal pada saat ujian, dan 3) siswa kesulitan dalam memahami materi jika hanya di jelaskan di WAG (WhassApp Group).Ā [This study aims to describe evaluation of the quality of Islamic religious learning and knowing the factors inhibiting evaluation of the quality of islamic religious learning in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic in SMP Negeri 2 Pleret. This research approach is a qualitative descriptive type. The research subjects consisted of headmaster, IslamicĀ  education teachers, and final school assessment committe. Data collection technique using interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis technique using data reductuion, data presentation, and drawing consclusions. The results showed that SMP Negeri 2 pleret was classified as a quality school in evaluating the quality of Islamic religious learning. Schools are categorized as quality because they can be measured by tests and non-tests on students. Test forms such as daily joint assessments, midterm assessments, and end of semester assessments. Inhibiting factors from evaluating quality of Islamic religious learning at SMP Negeri 2 Pleret during the covid-19 pandemic is 1) There are some students who do not have cell phones, so they are constrained in online learning. 2) Constrained signal during the test, and 3) students have difficulty understanding IslamicĀ  material if it is only explained in the Whatsapp Group.

    Pelatihan struktur organisasi dan manajemen sumber daya manusia di SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Minggir

    A clear organizational structure in the picture followed by an explanation of the duties and authorities of each section contributes to the effectiveness of the school. Likewise, policies in human resource management play a role in moving school members to participate positively in realizing school goals. The lack of knowledge about these two things has an impact on the less than optimal of the two non-physical resources, the impact is that the school's performance is less than optimal. SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Minggir already has an organizational structure and manages teachers and education personnel, but the management is not optimal. The purpose of the activities carried out is to educate teachers and education staff about the importance of these two things in moving school residents. This activity was attended by all teachers and school education staff. The activity method is carried out with the stages of preparation of activities, implementation of activities, and evaluation and reporting of activity. The results of socialization activities and workshops improve the knowledge, understanding, skills, and services of teachers and education personnel. The increase in the aspect of organizational structure, from 81, 41%, increased to 88, 26%, while the aspect of human resource management increased from 79.34% to 86.94%. The impact of this activity is to strengthen the knowledge and skills of teachers in working based on their positions and positions, and to clarify the management of human resources. Teachers and education staff are moved and motivated to contribute together in realizing school goals
