Bioethics: health ethics new way

The authors make a synthesis of this new discipline, the bioethics, showing its origins, the changes carried out in the social, political and technological scenario that preceded it, the facts and institutions that have contributed to its consolidation, the first publications and the institutionalisation. They cite factors that, according to Rothman, were definitive to the decline of Hipocratic ethics which accompanied the ascension of bioethics.Os autores fazem uma síntese desta nova disciplina, a bioética, mostrando suas origens, as transformações ocorridas no cenário social, político e tecnológico que a precederam, os fatos e instituições que contribuíram para sua consolidação, as primeiras publicações e sua institucionalização. Citam os fatores que, segundo Rothman, foram decisivos para o declínio da ética hipocrática que acompanhou a ascensão da bioética

Human cloning: ethical aspects

Moral dilemmas have greatly increased since the birth of Dolly, the clone sheep, and those led to an unreasoned and misinformed argumentations to prohibit this kind of research in many countries. In this article the author examines the reasons of those dilemmas in the light of bioethics and the update knowledge, emphasizing that the best politics is not the prohibition but the control of freedom research. Particular attention is paid to the question of the that in Brazil there is mechanism that would be used to get this kind of research under control, but effort is necessary to developing of ethical sense, mainly, of the future researchers.A clonagem da ovelha “Dolly” fez aflorarem dilemas morais, que desencadearam um temor inopinado, que acarretou, em vários países, a proibição desse tipo de pesquisa. O autor expõe alguns desses dilemas e discute seus aspectos éticos à luz dos conhecimentos atuais, enfatizando que a melhor política não é proibir mas controlar. Defende que o Brasil tem mecanismos que podem ser utilizados para manter esse tipo de pesquisa sob controle, mas é preciso que continue empenhado em desenvolver o senso ético, principalmente, dos seus futuros pesquisadores

Des de l'aparició dels telèfons intel·ligents l'increment d'aplicacions ha crescut exponencialment, i una de les quals no falta mai són les aplicacions del temps. Si bé la majoria són simples widgets que et redirigeixen a les seves pàgines webs, a mesura que han sorgit noves tecnologies per a les creacions d'aquestes, han anat evolucionant. Una d'aquestes tecnologies seria per exemple Flutter, que permet desenvolupar aplicacions per a Android i IOS, els dos grans sistemes operatius que ocupen el mercat. És per això que he dirigit el meu projecte a la creació d'una aplicació per a totes dues plataformes que barregi la senzillesa dels widgets antics amb els nous estils d'aplicacions més dinàmics, amb noves funcions i mapes interactius. Al llarg d'aquesta memòria es descriurà; el procés de creació de l'aplicació; l'estudi de les API que proporcionen les dades i la creació d'aquests models de dades; el disseny de les pantalles que componen l'aplicació, des de l'esbós principal passant per les aplicacions a usar per a això, fins a la creació final d'aquestes donant una explicació detallada de cada element que ho compon i el perquè. Finalment es descriuran les funcionalitats dissenyades, tant el seu desenvolupament com la seva implementació. Una vegada totes les funcions han estat implementades, s'ha passat a la fase de testatge. L'aplicació ha estat testada en diferents models, tant en antiguitat com en grandària. Finalment, s'ha polit el disseny perquè sigui agradable i dinàmic. Finalment es mostraran les pantalles del resultat final tal com vindria després de la descàrrega des del store.Desde la aparición de los smartphones el incremento de aplicaciones ha crecido exponencialmente, y una de las que no falta nunca son las aplicaciones del tiempo. Si bien la mayoría son simples widgets que te redirigen a sus páginas webs, a medida que han surgido nuevas tecnologías para las creaciones de estas, han ido evolucionando. Una de estas tecnologías sería por ejemplo Flutter, que permite desarrollar aplicaciones para Android y IOS, los dos grandes sistemas operativos que ocupan el mercado. Es por esto que he dirigido mi proyecto a la creación de una aplicación para ambas plataformas que mezcle la simpleza de los widgets antiguos con los nuevos estilos de aplicaciones más dinámicos, con nuevas funciones y mapas interactivos. A lo largo de esta memoria se describirá; el proceso de creación de la aplicación; el estudio de las API que proporcionan los datos y la creación de estos modelos de datos; el diseño de las pantallas que componen la aplicación, desde el boceto principal pasando por las aplicaciones a usar para ello hasta la creación final de estas dando una explicación detallada de cada elemento que lo compone y el porqué. Por último se describirán las funcionalidades diseñadas, tanto su desarrollo como su implementación. Una vez todas las funciones han sido implementadas, se ha pasado a la fase de testeo. La aplicación ha sido testeada en diferentes modelos, tanto en antigüedad como en tamaño. Por último, se ha pulido el diseño para que sea agradable y dinámico. Finalmente se mostrarán las pantallas del resultado final tal y como vendría tras la descarga desde el store.Since the emergence of mobile phones the rising number of applications has been increasing exponentially, and one of the must have are the weather apps. Even though most of them are just widgets that usually redirect to their web pages, as new technologies have appeared for the development of applications, these have been evolving. One of these would be for example Flutter, which allows you to develop applications for both Android and IOs, the two most important operating systems nowadays. And that reason is why I have led my project to the development of an application for both platforms that mixes the simplicity of the old widgets with the style from the new ones, more dynamics, with new functions and interactive maps. Throughout this memory it will be described; the creation process of the application; the API study that provide us with all the data and the creation of their data models; the design of our mobile screens, from the first sketch and which applications have been used to the final design, explaining every element used and why. Lastly, all the functionalities designed will be descrived, both their development and implementation. Once all the functionalities have been implemented, it was turn to the test phase. The application has been tested with different models, both antiquity and size to check if it fits well. Lastly, the design has been polished to make it more comfortable and dynamic. Finally all the screens will be shown just as they will be after downloading it from the store

A influência do álcool e outras drogas na condução de veículos automotores e a utilização do exame clínico como meio de prova nas infrações e crimes de trânsito

Os autores estudaram os principais efeitos do álcool etílico e drogas na capacidade de conduzir veículos automotores, destacando os aspectos legais e periciais nas infrações e delitos de trânsito. Discute-se a utilidade do exame clínico, nos casos suspeitos de embriaguez alcoólica ou por outras drogas inebriantes, como componente do conjunto probatório, ao lado da prova testemunhal e do exame químico. A jurisprudência brasileira, em muitos casos, tem dado maior valor a depoimentos de testemunhas, quando confrontados com o exame laboratorial. Embora, na maioria dos países, a perícia clínica tenha sido substituída, pura e simplesmente, pelo exame químico, o Código de Trânsito Brasileiro admite a sua realização nos casos em que se suspeite que o motorista tenha excedido os limites de alcoolemia permitidos. Com a aplicação do exame clinico é possível o diagnóstico mais preciso da influência do álcool ou de outras drogas psicoativas sobre o indivíduo e mesmo portadores de enfermidades que comprometam a performance.The authors studied the principal effects of ethyl alcohol and drugs in the capability of driving motorized vehicles, emphasizing the legal and investigative aspects in the infringements and crimes in the traffic. The usefulness of the clinical exam is discussed in cases of drinkness by alcohol or by any other intoxicating drug, paralel to witness evidence and to chemical exam. Brazilian jurisprudence, in many cases gives more importance to the testemony of a witness than to the results of laboratory exam. Although in most countries the clinical investigation has been simply substituted by the chemical exam, the Brazilian Traffic Code admits it in cases where it is suspected that the driver has exceeded the limits of alcohol permited by law. When the clinical exam is dane, it is possible to have a more precise diagnosis of the influence of alcohol or any other psychoactive drugs upon the individual and even identify diseases that may affect their performance

Identificação humana e análise de DNA em ossos

A introdução das técnicas de biologia molecular, ou seja a análise de DNA para identificação humana é um avanço recente na Medicina Legal. A identificação de cadáveres e restos humanos faz-se necessária após guerras, distúrbios sócio-políticos e desastres de massa. Além desses casos, devido à dinâmica social das grandes metrópoles, existem pessoas desaparecidas e por outro lado, cadáveres e restos humanos sem identificação são encontrados. Nos últimos anos, também tem ocorrido um aumento nas solicitações para coleta de material biológico de restos humanos exumados e destinados à determinação de vínculo genético em processos civis. Os autores realizam uma extensa revisão da literatura sobre a utilização dessas novas metodologias em ossos, antigos ou recentes, para a identificação humana.The introduction of molecular biology techniques, especially of DNA analysis, for human identification is a recent advance in legal medicine. Substantial effort has continuously been made in an attempt to identify cadavers and human remains after wars, socio-political problems and mass disasters. In addition, because of the social dynamics of large cities, there are always cases of missing people, as well as unidentified cadavers and human remains that are found. In the last few years, there has also been an increase in requests for exhumation of human remains in order to determine genetic relationships in civil suits and court action. The authors provide an extensive review of the literature regarding the use of this new methodology for human identification of ancient or recent bones
