L'intranet comme révélateur des libertés : jeux, pouvoirs et stratégies d'acteurs dans les organisations

Les intranets sont d'importants révélateurs des conflits internes dans les organisations, des jeux de pouvoir entre les acteurs et de la volonté managériale. Cet article met en parallèle deux cas, l'un dans une entreprise de grande distribution, l'autre dans une communauté de chercheurs. L'étude menée sur les deux intranets développés dans ces organisations permettent de faire ressortir des constantes et des différences dans le suivi des tels projets technologiques, notamment en terme de jeux de pouvoirs entre les acteurs, mais également en terme de pratiques et de logiques d'acteurs

Chercheurs et praticiens: un panorama des modèles en communication des organisations

Les occasions de rencontres, d’échanges, parfois de confrontations entre chercheurs et praticiens se multiplient. En communication des organisations, le champ et les objets d’études induisent des liens qui peuvent s’avérer étroits. Nous nous proposons d’identifier les paradigmes épistémologiques et notamment les modèles en présence afin de questionner les rapports entre modèles théoriques et pratiques professionnelles. L’article présente une partie des résultats de deux recherches qui analysent le contenu de documents dépositaires : trente articles de revues scientifiques et six manuels.Incentives and opportunities are growing for meetings, exchanges, and sometimes confrontations between researchers and practitioners. More specifically, regarding the communication of organisations, the scope and objects of study can create close links between us. We propose to identify epistemological paradigms and especially models, in order to question the relationship between theoretical models and professional practices. Nomadisme du modèle marketing, quelle appropriation dans les recherches actions en communication organisationnelle ?

Les compromis consentis lors des recherches actions, en particulier l’application de modèles scientifiquement dépassés, ne sont pas sans conséquence sur la recherche scientifique. Quelle peut être l’appropriation du modèle marketing, importé des sciences de gestion, dans les recherches actions en sciences de l’information et de la communication ? Les injonctions paradoxales de la communication interne en période de tensions organisationnelles

Nulle journée ne se passe sans l'annonce de licenciements, de fermetures de sites, de délocalisations. Une étude menée au sein d’une entreprise en phase de réorganisation nous permet de constater la fracture entre les pratiques du service de communication interne et les attentes des salariés. Elle met en évidence les tensions entre acteurs collectifs et individu(s) dans la production de l’organisation, au sein de laquelle les rapports classiques, s’ils continuent à exister, sont accompagnés de reconfigurations majeures. Elle nous donne l’occasion de questionner scientifiquement les injonctions paradoxales que subissent les services de communication interne en période de tensions organisationnelles.No day seems to pass without the announcement of redundancies, site closures and relocations. A study carried out within a company during a reorganization phase indicated the discrepancies between the practices of the internal communications service and the expectations of the employees. It revealed the tension between the corporation’s spokespeople and the individuals involved in production. Standard internal reports, when they continued to be issued, had undergone major reconfigurations. We were also given the opportunity to question and to study the paradoxical orders received by the internal communications services during periods of organizational tension

Entre intelligence collective et porosité augmentée, étude d’un médiateur entre chercheurs et praticiens

L’innovation est présentée dans les discours étatiques français comme une clef majeure de compétitivité. Les interactions entre chercheurs et praticiens sont incitées notamment par des financements mixtes privé/public. Mais une telle tendance ne va pas sans questionnements pour les chercheurs. Dans le cadre du présent article, nous proposons l’étude d’un laboratoire commun qui associe une PME et un laboratoire public pour contribuer au renouvellement des formes de communication dans les congrès médicaux. L’observation de certaines des interactions constitutives de ce dispositif fait apparaître un médiateur à porosité augmentée, espace de déploiement d’intelligences collectives.Innovation in the speeches given by the French government is presented as a major resource for competitiveness. Interactions between researchers and practitioners are encouraged by private/public funding. But, for researchers several questions about this trend remain unanswered. We propose here to study a laboratoire commun, a structure associating a medium-sized company and a public laboratory for renew communication in medical congresses. Snf2 family ATPases and DExx box helicases:differences and unifying concepts from high-resolution crystal structures

Proteins with sequence similarity to the yeast Snf2 protein form a large family of ATPases that act to alter the structure of a diverse range of DNA–protein structures including chromatin. Snf2 family enzymes are related in sequence to DExx box helicases, yet they do not possess helicase activity. Recent biochemical and structural studies suggest that the mechanism by which these enzymes act involves ATP-dependent translocation on DNA. Crystal structures suggest that these enzymes travel along the minor groove, a process that can generate the torque or energy in remodelling processes. We review the recent structural and biochemical findings which suggest a common mechanistic basis underlies the action of many of both Snf2 family and DExx box helicases

Persisting Mixed Cryoglobulinemia in Chikungunya Infection

Chikungunya virus is present in tropical Africa and Asia and is transmitted by mosquito bites. The disease is characterized by fever, headache, severe joint pain and transient skin rash for about a week. Most patients experience persisting joint pain and/or stiffness for months to years. In routine practice, diagnosis is based upon serology. Since 2004 there has been an ongoing giant outbreak of Chikungunya fever in East Africa, the Indian Ocean Islands, India and East Asia. In parallel, more than 1,000 travelers were diagnosed with imported Chikungunya infection in most developed countries. Considering the clinical features of our patients (joint pain), we hypothesized that cryoglobulins could be involved in the pathophysiology of the disease as observed in chronic hepatitis C infection. Cryoglobulins, which are immunoglobulins that precipitate when temperature is below 37°C, can induce rheumatic and vascular disorders. From April 2005 through May 2007, we screened all patients with possible imported Chikungunya infection for cryoglobulins. They were present in over 90% of patients, and possibly responsible for the unexpected false negativity of serological assays. Cryoglobulin frequency and levels decreased with time in recovering patients
