Purpose. Drug release from nanosystems at the sites of either absorption or effect biophase is a major determinant of its biological action. Thus, in vitro drug release is of paramount importance in gaining insight for the systems performance in vivo. Methods. A novel in vitro in vivo correlation, IVIVC, model denoted as double reciprocal area method was presented and applied to 19 drugs from 55 nano formulations with total 336 data, gathered from literature. Results. The proposed model correlated the in vitro with in vivo parameters with overall error of 12.4 ± 3.9%. Also the trained version of the model predicted the test formulations with overall error of 15.8 ± 3.7% indicating the suitability of the approach. A theoretical justification was provided for the model considering the unified classical release laws. Conclusion. The model does not necessitate bolus intravenous drug data and seems to be suitable for IVIVC of drugs with release rate-limited absorption

Introduction: The use of antioxidant and anti-inflammatory supplements is important in improving the function of obese people. The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of 12 weeks aerobic training with ginger consumption on the levels of IL-18 and CRP in obese men. Methods: 40 men (mean ± SD: age 23.9 ± 5.90 years old, weight 87.61 ± 4.69 kg and BMI 32.69 ± 3.25 kg / m2) were randomly selected and divided into four groups of 10, including 1- aerobic training, 2- training with ginger consumption, 3-ginger consumption, 4-control. The first and second groups, had 12 weeks, 3 sessions per week and 40 minutes each session aerobic training selections with an intensity of 65%MHR; during this period, the second and third groups received one gram of ginger capsule daily and the control group received no intervention. Blood samples were taken before and after the study period. Paired sample t-test and one-way ANOVA were used for data analysis (p≤0.05).Results: There was a significant difference in IL-18 and CRP before and after exercise in all three experimental groups (p≤0.05).. Also, the results of the bonferroni post hoc test showed a significant difference in the level of IL-18 and CRP in the Reaserch groups. The highest decrease in these variables was observed in the aerobic training group and training with ginger consumption group (p≤0.05). Conclusion: Ginger supplementation with aerobic training seems to be a suitable method for reducing IL-18 and CRP and preventing metabolic, cardiovascular and inflammatory diseases in obese men

AbstractThe significant impact of e-commerce (EC) on the livelihood or rural populations in developing countries like Iran has made this topic of popular interest to many researchers in the past decade. To take advantage of e-commerce, employing suitable models which are adaptive to the circumstances of villages in rural areas is indispensable. Iran is on track for achieving this goal, development of EC in Rural areas.Considering the importance of sharing rural ICT experiences, the trend and experiences of the Rural EC infrastructure in Iran are demonstrated in this paper. According to our research, Iran’s rural ICT network development started in 2000 with the far northern village of Shahkooh which is known as the first multi-media center of Iran. In 2004, Iran national strategic plan of Rural ICT built two well-equipped telecentres near the villages of East Livan and Gharnabad. Taking availability of data and the duration of operation al time to account, these two telecenters were selected for this paper. In 2005, UNESCO Tehran Cluster Office was empowered to carry out a study on the economic and social effect of rural ICTs to share with others, acting in this field at regional and social levels. In fact, in order to find applicable and durable solutions for economic, social and environmental problems, these projects were carried out in the rural areas of Iran.In this paper, a practical model of e-commerce for rural areas of Iran is proposed. Our research is based on quantitative and qualitative methodologies. The qualitative methods comprised of open-ended interviews with officials and telecentre operators. The proposed model is related to the national project known as “10000 Rural ICT Center” which was started in the year 2004. In this project, Rural EC services are part of the IT application services at the Rural ICT Centers which supply four services; Communication Services, IT services, Postal Services and E-Banking services

An experiment was conducted to study the effect of phytase enzyme (Natuphos 500) supplementation in Japanese quail (Coturnix japonica) (3 to 45 days of age) on body weight, carcass performance, percentage of tibia bone ash and tibia phosphorus. Data were analyzed as a completely randomized design arranged with five levels (150, 300, 600, 1200 and 2400 FTU/Kg) of phytase enzyme as treatments 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, respectively, and two control groups (positive and negative controls). None of the phytase levels had eff ect on carcass yield at 45 days of age (p>0.05), except first treatment with 70.06% of carcass yield that was significantly different than treatment 5 (p0.05). Female quails at body weight, slaughter weight, carcass weight without viscera and legs weight were better than male (p<0.01), but male quails at carcass yield (69.06%) were significantly different (p<0.01) in contrast to the females (66.30%)
