Thermal Effects for Shaft-Pre-Stress on Rotor Dynamic System

This Paper outlines study behaviour of rotating shaft with high speed under thermal effects. The method of obtaining the frequency response functions of a rotor system with study whirl effect in this revision the raw data obtained from the experimental results (using Smart Office program) are curve-fitted by theoretical data regenerated from some of the experimental data and simulating it using finite element (ANSYS 12). (FE) models using the Eigen analysis capability were used to simulate the vibration. The results were compared with experimental data show analysis data with acceptable accuracy and performance. The rotating effect causes un-symmetry in the system matrices, resulting in complexity in decoupling the mathematical models of the system for the purpose of modal analysis. Different method is therefore required, which can handle general system matrices rather than symmetrical matrices, which is normal for passive structures. Mathematical model of the system from the test data can be assembled. The frequency response functions are extracted, Campbell diagram are draw and simulated. (FE) is used to carry out such as simulation since it has good capability for Eigen analysis and also good graphical facility. Practical Training and the Audit Expectations Gap:The Case of Accounting Undergraduates of Universiti Utara Malaysia

    Get PDF
The accounting profession has long faced the issue of an audit expectations gap; being the gap between the quality of the profession’s performance, its objectives and results, and that which the society expects. The profession believes that the gap could be reduced over time through education. Studies have been carried out overseas and in Malaysia to determine the effect of education in narrowing the audit expectations gap. Extending the knowledge acquired, this paper investigates whether academic internship programs could reduce the audit expectations gap in Malaysia. Using a pre-post method, the research instrument adapted from Ferguson et al. (2000) is administered to the Universiti Utara Malaysia’s accounting students at the beginning and end of their internship program. The results show there is a significant change in perceptions among students after the internship program. However, changes in perceptions do not warrant an internship program as a means of reducing the audit expectations gap as misperceptions are still found among respondents on issues of auditing after the completion of the internship program. Nevertheless, an internship program can still be used to complement audit education in a university as it is an ideal way to expose students to professional issues and enables them to have a better insight of the actual performance and duties of auditors

: Partnership between Unity Forest Perhutani Officials (KPH) and Institutions Villagers The Forest (LMDH) in preserve the forest conservation and production. (Study in viilage Jengglungharjo sub-districts Tanggunggunung district Tulungagung). The management of community-based forests called PHBM (in forest management with the community) is management with cooperation between villagers forest (MDH) with kph perhutani. This research mendiskripsikan about how partnership yamg interwoven and supporting factors and inhibitors of between KPH Perhutani and LMDH. This research using methods qualitative. Collecting data using interviews, observation, and documentation. This data obtained by involving parties KPH Perhutani, asper boyolangu, the office of a village Jengglungharjo, and LMDH. Analysis of data on the model of interactive Miles Huberman. The result showed that the partnership, which occurs not run well prove to be wood, still the occurrence of a burglary the use of land, Public participation are still not enough, and still the people who disagree with the agreement of the partnership. Disisi good news village have institute who were law in order to facilitate interaction with instansi-instansi tulungagung, who was in just with dept. of tourism, for example agriculture, police. With this economic growth of the community can increase so that it reduced the initiatives to take for (forest resources)

Pretreatment Technologies of Lignocellulosic Materials in Bioethanol Production Process

Bioethanol is one type of biofuel that developed significantly. The utilization of bioethanol is not only limited for fuel, but also could be used as material for various industries such as pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and food. With wide utilization and relatively simple production technology has made bioethanol as the most favored biofuel currently. The use of lignocellulosic biomass, microalgae, seaweeds, even GMO (Genetically modified organisms) as substrates for bioethanol production has been widely tested. Differences in the materials eventually led to change in the production technology used. Pretreatment technology in the bioethanol production using lignocellulosic currently experiencing rapid development. It is a key process and crucial for the whole next steps. Based on the advantages and disadvantages from all methods, steam explotion and liquid hot water methods are the most promising pretreatment technology available

An illegitimate child's status is the result of illegal marriage. Concerning his civil right, development, caring, and subsistence, it is basically the liability of his biological mother as it is stipulated in the Marriage Law No. 1/1974. He only has civil relation with his biological mother and with her relatives. After the issuance of the Supreme Court's Ruling No. 46/PUU-VII/2010 which has amended Article 43 of the Marriage Law, states that an illegitimate child, who used to have the relation with his biological mother, not only has the relation with his biological mother but also with his biological father. This legal protection and legal certainty can be taken by filing a complaint to the Court and giving evidence by carrying out DNA test by medical forensic team. In this case, it must be through legal procedure through the court's judge who orders the evidence by DNA test
