The present investigation was carried out to study the effects of Bio fertilizers, Chemical Fertilizers and Vermicompost and their combination on the Productivity of Andrographis paniculata. The experiment  was  conducted  in a  randomized block design (RBD) with 8 treatments i.e. T1-NT, T2- VC, T3-BF, T4-CF, T5-BF+VC, T6-BF+CF, T7 - CF +  VC, T8 - BF+CF+VC. The experimental results revealed that maximum fresh and dried weight of root, shoot and leaves individually as well as total weight of all the parts and maximum seed yield was obtained in T8 treatments followed by T5 plot treatment. Thus it can be concluded that integrated combination of organic manures along with BF and CF results into improved plant productivity and seed yield

    Get PDF
This research argues that the information security governance objectives should be grounded in the values of organizational members. Research literature in decision sciences suggest that individual values play an important role in developing decision objectives. Information security governance objectives, based on values of the stakeholders, are essential for a comprehensive security control program. The study uses Value Theory as a theoretical basis and value focused thinking as a methodology to develop 23 objectives for information security governance. A case study was conducted to reexamine and interpret the significance of the proposed objectives in an organizational context. The results suggest three emergent dimensions of information security governance for effective control structure in organizations: resource allocation, user involvement and process integrity. The synthesis of data suggests eight principles of information security governance which guides organizations in achieving a comprehensive security environment. We also present a means-end model of ISG which proposes the interrelationships of the developed objectives. Contributions are noted and future research directions suggested

Tamaka Shwasa is one among the major disease explained in Ayurveda is caused due to vitiation of Kapha and Vata dosha in Pranavaha srotas. The condition is analogous to bronchial asthma as explained in modern medical science. India has an estimated 15-20 million Asthmatics every year and the disease occurs at very young age that survey states one in every six child under the age of 16 is affected.Asthma is characterized by recurrent attacks of breathlessness and wheezing which vary in severity and from person to person. It is a chronic condition, which frequently requires continuous medical care, comprising of different routes of administration and the important one is the inhalation route which has been developed to administer the drugs by delivering to site of action and to get immediate effects. Most of our Acharyas have explained different treatment modalities in the management of Tamaka Shwasa that consists of Shodhana, Shamana and Tarpana, but the concept of ‘Arka prayoga’ is explained in Arka Prakasha which stands unique. The book written by Ravana has explained different drugs used to prepare Arka (Extraction of active principles through the distillation process), its preparation method, qualities and application of Arka on different diseases internally as Pana along with its dosage in detail. In the study during the attack of Shwasa one group was administered Ardraka arka pana and the second group was administered Dhumapana (inhalation) with Ardraka arka by Nebulization method to conceptualize the study and parallel new perspective to rising trend in management of asthma in exacerbated condition. Statistical significance of selected criteria showed highly significant results in Dhumapana (Nebulization) by proving that natural therapies like Ayurveda can provide a better direction in improving the quality of life of Shwasa patients without any adverse effects of medications
