Dans un premier temps, lâauteur prĂ©sente le projet pĂ©dagogique Ă©tabli pour cette classe. Il rĂ©pond aux exigences liĂ©es Ă son cadre dâemploi et tient compte des con naissances acadĂ©miques acquises lors de sa formation Ă lâĂcole SupĂ©rieure de Musique de Lisbonne et Ă lâĂcole SupĂ©rieure dâĂducation.
Dans un second temps, lors dâune description et dâune analyse de la mise en place de ce projet pĂ©dagogique pour lâensemble de la classe, il aborde les sujets de lâenseignement adaptĂ© aux Ă©lĂšves dĂ©ficients, lâenseignement aux adultes et de la transversalitĂ© des enseignements.
Finalement est analysĂ©, sur la base de ce projet pĂ©dagogique, le cas d'un Ă©lĂšve de chaque cycle d'enseignement classique.RĂ©sumĂ©-Section II - Depuis lâabaissement de lâĂąge dâentrĂ©e en 1er cycle dans lâenseignement spĂ©cialisĂ© de la musique dĂ©crĂ©tĂ© par le ministĂšre de la Culture dans les schĂ©mas dâorientation pĂ©dagogique des 20 derniĂšres annĂ©es, les cors standards doubles utilisĂ©s jusquâĂ prĂ©sent reprĂ©sentent de par leur poids un obstacle Ă lâapprentissage.
En 1981, suite à une formation de 3 ans comme thérapeute de technique Alexander, le corniste anglais Pip Eastop conçoit un pied-support qui lui permet de jouer du cor tout en respectant "le bon usage de soi".
Cette Ă©tude se concentre sur ce pied-support et cherche Ă dĂ©finir sâil est possible de le considĂ©rer comme un outil ergonomiquement valide pour lâacquisition des compĂ©tences fondamentales prĂ©sentĂ©es en 1Ăšre section.
Sont présentés un historique de l'évolution du poids du cor, les solutions envisageables pour l'enseignement du cor, une étude empirique basée sur des questionnaires effectuée au sein de la classe de cor du Conservatoire à Rayonnement départemental du Choletais et pour conclure est abordée en discussion finale les conséquences de l'ergonomie sur l'enseignement spécialisé de la musique.Abstract-Section I - In September 2012, the author was taken on as a French horn teacher at the "Conservatoire à Rayonnement Départemental du Choletais" in France, taking over the corresponding class of 25 students. Firstly, the author presents the educational project designed specifically for this class. It meets the requirements of his job description, and reflects the academic knowledge acquired during his training at the "Escola Superior de Musica de Lisboa," as well as at the "Escola Superior da Educacao." Secondly, by describing and analysing the implementation of this educational project for the whole class, the author examines issues regarding the education of "special-needs" students, adult education and the transversatily of musical teaching syllabuses. Finally, based on the educational project, the author analyses the individual case of a student from each of the classical cycle.Abstract Section II - Since the lowering of the age of entry to the first cycle in special, musical education in a decree enacted over the past twenty years by the Ministry of Culture, the double- standard French horns used so far have been a barrier to learning, simply through their sheer weight.
In 1981, after three years training as a therapist using the "Alexander Method," the English French horn player, Pip Eastop, designed a hornstick which enabled him to play while maintaining "the proper use of the self."
This study focuses on the hornstick, and attempts to ascertain whether it is possible for the hornstick to be considered as an ergonomically-valid tool for the acquisition of the basic skills presented in the first section.
The author presents the history of the evolution of the weight of the French horn, some possible solutions for teaching the French horn, as well as an empirical study based on questionnaires completed by members of the French horn classes at the "Conservatoire Ă Rayonnement DĂ©partement du Choletais," before concluding by examining the ergonomic consequences on teaching methods.N/
TRY plant trait database â enhanced coverage and open access
Plant traits - the morphological, anatomical, physiological, biochemical and phenological characteristics of plants - determine how plants respond to environmental factors, affect other trophic levels, and influence ecosystem properties and their benefits and detriments to people. Plant trait data thus represent the basis for a vast area of research spanning from evolutionary biology, community and functional ecology, to biodiversity conservation, ecosystem and landscape management, restoration, biogeography and earth system modelling. Since its foundation in 2007, the TRY database of plant traits has grown continuously. It now provides unprecedented data coverage under an open access data policy and is the main plant trait database used by the research community worldwide. Increasingly, the TRY database also supports new frontiers of traitâbased plant research, including the identification of data gaps and the subsequent mobilization or measurement of new data. To support this development, in this article we evaluate the extent of the trait data compiled in TRY and analyse emerging patterns of data coverage and representativeness. Best species coverage is achieved for categorical traits - almost complete coverage for âplant growth formâ. However, most traits relevant for ecology and vegetation modelling are characterized by continuous intraspecific variation and traitâenvironmental relationships. These traits have to be measured on individual plants in their respective environment. Despite unprecedented data coverage, we observe a humbling lack of completeness and representativeness of these continuous traits in many aspects. We, therefore, conclude that reducing data gaps and biases in the TRY database remains a key challenge and requires a coordinated approach to data mobilization and trait measurements. This can only be achieved in collaboration with other initiatives

Orexin in the toad Rhinella schneideri: The location of orexinergic neurons and the role of orexin in ventilatory responses to hypercarbia and hypoxia
Recent reports have suggested that orexins, also known as hypocretins, play an important role in the modulation of respiratory control in mammals, but there are no data available describing the role of the orexinergic system in the peripheral and central chemoreception of non-mammalian vertebrates. Therefore, the present study was designed to examine the localization of orexin-immunoreactive neurons in the brain of toads (Rhinella schneideri) and to investigate the contribution of orexin receptor-1 (OX1R) to the hypoxic and hypercarbic ventilatory responses of these animals during light and dark phases. Our results demonstrated that the orexinergic neurons of R. schneideri are located in the suprachiasmatic nucleus of the diencephalon. Additionally, the intracerebroventricular injection of SB-334867 (OX1R selective antagonist) attenuated the ventilatory response to hypercarbia during the dark phase by acting on tidal volume and breathing frequency, while during the light phase, SB-334867 attenuated the ventilatory response to hypoxia by acting on tidal volume only. We conclude that in the toad R. schneideri, orexinergic neurons are located in the suprachiasmatic nucleus and that OX1R contributes to hypercarbic and hypoxic chemoreflexes
Raphe magnus nucleus is involved in ventilatory but not hypothermic response to CO2
There is evidence that serotonin [ 5- hydroxytryptamine ( 5- HT)] is involved in the physiological responses to hypercapnia. Serotonergic neurons represent the major cell type ( comprising 15 - 20% of the neurons) in raphe magnus nucleus ( RMg), which is a medullary raphe nucleus. In the present study, we tested the hypothesis 1) that RMg plays a role in the ventilatory and thermal responses to hypercapnia, and 2) that RMg serotonergic neurons are involved in these responses. To this end, we microinjected 1) ibotenic acid to promote nonspecific lesioning of neurons in the RMg, or 2) anti- SERT- SAP ( an immunotoxin that utilizes a monoclonal antibody to the third extracellular domain of the serotonin reuptake transporter) to specifically kill the serotonergic neurons in the RMg. Hypercapnia caused hyperventilation and hypothermia in all groups. RMg nonspecific lesions elicited a significant reduction of the ventilatory response to hypercapnia due to lower tidal volume ( V-T) and respiratory frequency. Rats submitted to specific killing of RMg serotonergic neurons showed no consistent difference in ventilation during air breathing but had a decreased ventilatory response to CO2 due to lower VT. The hypercapnia- induced hypothermia was not affected by specific or nonspecific lesions of RMg serotonergic neurons. These data suggest that RMg serotonergic neurons do not participate in the tonic maintenance of ventilation during air breathing but contribute to the ventilatory response to CO2. Ultimately, this nucleus may not be involved in the thermal responses CO2
Hypoxic and hypercapnic ventilatory responses in rats with polycystic ovaries
In female rats, a single injection of estradiol valerate (EV) results in effects that are similar to those observed in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). We hypothesized that EV-induced PCOS affects breathing control based on evidence showing an influence of sex hormones on ventilation. To test this hypothesis, we studied the effects of EV treatment on the ventilation of female rats in air, in 7% CO2 and in 7% O2, at 30, 45 and 60 days after EV injection. The group examined 30 days after EV treatment showed a 61% reduction in the hypercapnic ventilatory response compared to the control group. Basal ventilation, hypoxic ventilatory response, and body temperature were not affected. These results, suggest that the hormonal changes observed in PCOS may result in a temporary inhibition of the central chemoreflex but do not influence basal ventilation or the hypoxic peripheral chemoreflex
