近距離無線通信システムにおける低消費電力化技術に関する研究

頭頸部癌細胞におけるレスベラトロールのREG III発現誘導効果と癌の進展抑制・治療向上効果
Identification of reliable markers of chemo- and radiosensitivity and the key molecules that enhance the susceptibility of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) to anticancer treatments is highly desirable. Previously, we have reported that regenerating gene (REG) Ⅲ expression was such a marker associated with an improved survival rate for HNSCC patients. In the present study, we investigated the stimulators for induction of REG Ⅲ expression using REG Ⅲ promoter assay in HNSCC cells transfected with REG Ⅲ promoter vector. We tested inflammatory cytokines, growth factors, polyphenols, PPARγ activator of thiazolidinediones, and histone deacetylase inhibitors, and found that 3,4',5-trihydroxy-trans-stilbene (resveratrol) significantly increased the REG Ⅲ promoter activity and the mRNA levels of REG Ⅲ in HNSCC cells. Moreover, we demonstrated the effect of resveratrol on cancer cell progression, such as cell proliferation, chemo‑ and radiosensitivity and cancer invasion of HNSCC cells. Resveratrol significantly inhibited cell growth, enhanced chemo‑ and radiosensitivity, and blocked cancer invasion of HNSCC cells. An Efficiency Degradation Model of Power Amplifier and the Impact against Transmission Power Control for Wireless Sensor Networks
Abstract—To extend an available period of wireless sensor networks, transmission power control is regarded as one of the promising schemes. In most of the previous studies on the transmission power control, it is assumed that a transmitter has power consumption of O(dn), where d and n denote a maximum communication distance and a pass loss factor. This assumption would substantially hold under the condition that the transmission efficiency is always constant at any transmission power (efficiency-fixed model). In practice, however, the trans-mission efficiency degrades as the transmission power is reduced. We analytically verify that an actual power amplifier with the efficiency degradation has a power consumption of O(dr), where n/2.8 ≤ r ≤ n/2 (efficiency-degradation model). The efficiency-degradation model gives the negative impact against the transmission power control. 知的障害者における日中の心拍数による活動強度について ―成人男性の場合―
In order to grasp the situation of the lack of exercise in an intellectual disabled person heart rate in the daytime was measured, and activity intensity was presumed. 1) The heart rates in the subject A were an average of 81.9±12.9( beat/min.), a maximum of 129( beat/ min.), and at least 58( beat/min.). By class, 81~90( beat/min.) is as the highest as for 102 minutes (34.1%). There was no movement of the 60% of movement intensity needed for health, and when lowered to intensity 30%, it was for 37 minutes. 2) The heart rates in the subject B were an average of 96.4±8.1( beat/min.), a maximum of 120( beat/ min.), and at least 80( beat/min.). By class, 91~100( beat/min.) is as the highest as for 155 minutes (51.8%). There was no movement of the 60% of movement intensity needed for health, and when lowered to intensity 30%, it was for 81 minutes. 3) Movement which the subjects A and B saw from heart rate is not necessarily enough. 4) Since the example of an experiment is scarce, I would like to increase the number of subjects, and the number of experiments, and to advance research from now on
2010 年度入学生における「障害者スポーツ」の認識について ―大学健康・スポーツ科学科において―
This time, it worked on the research to do the recognition investigation of“ Sports for the disabled”, and to tie to“ Sports for the disabled” education. The respondent to a surveys were 166 new students. 1)The student who answered that there is the disabled person in familiarity is 38 person(22.9%). Moreover, the student who participated in the volunteer who exchanges it with the disabled person is 31 person (18.7%). 2)“Often see”and“See occasionally”students are 72 person as for the television program concerning sports for the disabled person(43.4%). Moreover“, See when staying in eyes” is 72 person against the newspaper article concerning sports for the disabled person(43.4%). 3)As for sports for the disabled,“ It is interested very much”and“It is interested”are 73 person(44.0%). 4)“Hoped strongly”and“Hope”the beginner’s class sports supervising instructor qualification were 56.. hope situation of handicapped person sports supervising instructor qualification.. person(33.7%), and “Hoped strongly”and“Hope”were 41 person(24.7%)as for the middle sports supervising instructor qualification. The main reason was“It was interested”,“It also wants the handicapped person to enjoy doing sports”,“I want to reserve the qualification”,and“It is useful for the future.”, etc. 5)It will be thought that the timing of the dissemination and the method become important, and it influences the number of qualification acquisition applicants and the number of students of handicapped person sports key subjects by the conclusive evidence in the future

Study on Building a Traceability System for Whale Meat
Whale meat has been one of traditional diets in Japan. However whaling is now prohibited except for the purpose of scientific research. Therefore it is important to keep an eye on poaching and to make distribution routes clear to obtain an international credibility. Then it is highly required to build a pilot traceability system and test it immediately. On the basis of this context, we made a study on building a traceability system for whale meat. This study will contribute to clamping down any illegal trades of whale meat, ensuring safety of foods and wining confidence by consumers. This study is composed of following three studies. 1) Development of a technology, which makes it possible consumers to know the whale meat's history from its production through distribution by cellular phone. 2) Development of a technology, which makes it possible to prevent other species or poaching meat from mixing into, or to prevent a weight of whale meat from being manipulated during distribution. We developed these three basic systems by an examination with flatfish. Enabling Secured Traceability of Fishery Products Using 2D Code and Digital Encryption
Technologies that enable traceability for fishery products are increasing their demands. Recently proposed technologies are mainly based on disposal RF(IC) tags which are able to record information directly onto them. However, the current systems based on RF tags have problems of expensive price of tags, and weakness of reading information if applied onto surface of products containing much water, which prevents to construct practically feasible systems using the RF tags. To provide a traceability system that uses much inexpensive media and that assures as high security as the RF tags, we propose a system based on a combination of printed 2D codes and internet connection, with security control similar to on-line electronic transactions. The proposed system identifies a fishery product by giving it a unique serial ID, which is issued by a database server, and printed in 2D code onto a paper or a plastic plate, which is directly put on the product. All the trace information sent from client (producer, transporters, and retailer) via internet is associated to the ID and stored to the server. Since 2D code is able to be read by such as mobile phones with built-in camera, a consumer is able to get history of the product with a single scanning operation. For the weakness of printed codes against duplication by copying, we propose a method to identify its validity by digital encryption, along with identification by weight information. 「障害者スポーツ」に対する意識レベルについて(2) ―2年分の調査から―
We investigated the consciousness level to“Sports for the disabled”. It was investigated by using the same questionnaire as last year. The purpose of the investigation was to understand the current state and to have made the best use of in the future. The respondent to a surveys were 154 new students. 1)The student that it wanted to Qualification as a“Sports Trainer of the Disabled: Intermediate Trainer” was 69.5% every 107 people. Moreover, the student who had answered that it was interested in“Sports for the disabled”was 46.8% every 72 people. 2)“There is a disabled person in my environment”student was 27.3 % every 42 people. Moreover, the student who had participated in the volunteer of“Sports for the disabled”was 31.2% every 48 people. In addition, the student who had seen media that related to“Sports for the disabled”was 94.8% every 146 people. 3)The student answered the item of“Sports for the disabled”that I knew. 73 person wheelchair basketball was 47.4%, 59 person basketball was 38.3%, 36 person swim was 23.4%, and 33 person track and field sports were 21.4% . 4)We should serve to about 50 % interesting student. Especially, we should devise it so that the student may easily pile up the guidance results
A 0.3-V operating, Vth-variation-tolerant SRAM under DVS environment for memory-rich SoC in 90-nm technology era and beyond
元・大学院自然科学研究科 現・神戸大学大学院自然科学研究科We propose a voltage control scheme for 6T SRAM cells that makes a minimum operation voltage down to 0.3 V under DVS environment. A supply voltage to the memory cells and wordline drivers, bitline voltage, and body bias voltage of load pMOSFETs are controlled according to read and write operations, which secures operation margins even at a low operation voltage. A self-aligned timing control with a dummy wordline and its feedback is also introduced to guarantee stable operation in a wide range of the supply voltage. A measurement result of a 64-kb SRAM in a 90-nm process technology shows that a power reduction of 30 can be achieved at 100 MHz. In a 65-nm 64-Mb SRAM, a 74 power saving is expected at 1/6 of the maximum operating frequency. The performance penalty by the proposed scheme is less than 1, and area overhead is 5.6.
