Plan estratégico para el desarrollo de productos que mejore la experiencia de los voluntarios en la conservación de las tortugas marina en la playa de Buena Vista

Proyecto de Graduación (Licenciatura en Ingeniería en Diseño Industrial) Instituto Tecnológico de costa Rica, Escuela de Diseño Industrial, 2016.This project consists on improving the experience of the volunteering program with sea turtles of the Asociación de Voluntarios para el Servicio de Áreas Protegidas de Costa Rica (ASVO) on the beach Buenavista (Sámara), through a Product-Service System, which can facilitate and improve: (i) the working conditions related to hatchery areas, extraction and transportation of sand, (ii) the coexistence in the development of activities and the stay of the volunteers, and (iii) the approach of a sustainable strategy over time. For the project development, we used the Product-Service System (PSS) methodology, and as a result we defined the three main pillars of the project, from which three new experiences of the volunteer program were generated. From this experiences four services were created, each of which has its own products with the specifications needed to develop each one of them. In total, 15 products were developed to facilitate the work of volunteers, to create recreational spaces and to make the most of the resources available in the camp.Servicio de Áreas Protegidas de Costa Rica (ASVO
