Data and codes for the paper Abrupt shifts govern ecosystem productivity dynamics in global drylands
This file contains the data and codes used in the paper: Abrupt shifts govern ecosystem
productivity dynamics in global drylands. It has two Rmarkdown files, one for achieving the database and other to perform statistical analyses described in the paper. The files FinalDB3 and MiguelResTypesMD contains the output of the first code. Rest of csv files contain data for plot directly the resulting figures of the paper. The original raw data of NDVI (termed Time series new in the codes) do not belong to the authors and therefore are not available in this public repository. However they can be requested for replication purposes at: [email protected].</div

Data from "Simulated climate change affects how biocrusts modulate water gains and desiccation dynamics after rainfall events" Ecohydrology, doi: 10.1002/eco.1935
Data from the article: Lafuente, A., M. Berdugo, M. Ladrón de Guevara, B. Gozalo and F. T. Maestre. 2017. Simulated climate change affects how biocrusts modulate water gains and desiccation dynamics after rainfall events. Ecohydrology. 2018. e 1935 https://doi.org/10.1002/eco.1935<div><br></div><div>There are five spreadsheets with data. The spreadsheets "Wetting Events" and "Drying Events" contain all the information about the drying and wetting events analysed in the article, respectively. The "Precipitation" spreadsheet contains raw precipitation data during the study period. The "Soil Moisture" spreadsheet contains the raw soil moisture data. The "BSC cover" spreadsheet contains the biocrust cover data. After each data spreadsheet there is a spreadsheet with the associated metadata, where a description of all the variables and units can be found.</div><div><br></div
Dataset and R code from “Aridity preferences alter the relative importance of abiotic and biotic drivers on plant species abundance in global drylands”
Zip file containing the dataset and R code used to perform the analyses described in “<b>Aridity
preferences alter the relative importance of abiotic and biotic drivers on plant
species abundance in global drylands</b><p><b></b></p>”<br
Data and R code from "Grazing and ecosystem service delivery in global drylands"
There are two zip files with the data and R scripts used in the article "Grazing and ecosystem service delivery in global drylands".
The file "Main_Data_code.zip" contains the data and R code used in the main analyses of the paper. These data also include the location and major environmental characteristics of the plots surveyed.
The file "Livestock_data_code.zip" contains the data and R code used in the characterization and validation of grazing pressure levels (see Methods). Readme and metadata files including a description of the files, variables and units are provided.
All the methodological details can be found in the article.
