The Nature Conservancy’s Emiquon Preserve Fish and Aquatic Vegetation Monitoring 9-Year (2007-2015) Report
The Emiquon Reserve maintains a growing and healthy assemblage of aquatic vegetation and fish, with little indication that non-native species are becoming dominant or degrading environmental conditions in the immediate future. Of 19 relevant KEAs, 12 were evaluated in 2007, 15 in 2008, 16 in 2009, 15 in 2010, 18 in 2011, and 16 from 2012-2015 through standardized monitoring of the fish and aquatic vegetation communities. Of the total KEAs evaluated during 2007-2015, goals for 8 were met in 2007, 12 in 2008, 12 in 2009, 10 in 2010, 11 in 2011, 10 in 2012, 11 in 2013,9 in 2014, and 11 in 2015.The Nature Conservancy Contract no.
