Elementy doświadczenia estetycznego a odbiór dzieła muzycznego. Wybrane aspekty

The following article describes and analyzes the issue of reception of musical work and elements of aesthetic experience shaped as a result of that reception. The author of the work discusses selected elements of that experi-ence, with particular emphasis on musical emotion. Furthermore, the study also presents selected concepts and aesthetic theories, whose authors analyzed the nature and order of the reception of musical works. The author touches the issue of socio-cultural development of works of art and ways of their reception, and especially ways of listening to musical works, indicating the peculiar relationship between aesthetic experience and the accepted definition of art. Moreover, the author also tries to draw attention to the openness in the poetics of new music.W artykule opisany i przeanalizowany został problem odbioru dzie-ła muzycznego i kształtowania się w owym odbiorze elementów doświadczenia estetycznego. Omówiono wybrane elementy tego doświadczenia, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem emocji muzycznej. Rozważono również wybrane koncepcje i teorie estetyczne, których autorzy analizowali istotę i porządek odbioru utworu muzycznego. Podjęto także kwestię kontekstu społeczno-kulturowego kształto-wania dzieł sztuki i sposobów ich odbioru, a zwłaszcza sposobów słuchania dzieł muzycznych. Wskazano na swoistą zależność pomiędzy doświadczeniem estetycz-nym a przyjętą definicją sztuki. Starano się również zwrócić uwagę na otwartość w poetyce nowej muzyki

Story as a Song and “Murder of a Song”. The Tradition in the Current Circumstances According to Joseph Campbell

The article discusses the problem of myths in the current cultural circumstances, that is, in post-modernity. It indicates the crucial issue of the attitude of the postmodern man towards tradition and its transmission. The work also concerns issues related to the exploration of a new mythology and connected with the issue concept of Joseph Campbell. Suggestions for the way of thinking about reality and traditions included in the theories of Roger Fidler, Wolfgang Welsch and Paul Virilio have been disucessed as well. Furthermore, the author undertakes an attempt to answer the following questions: can the today’s story be seen as a „song” and whether in the technical world, virtualized and marked by pluralism of everything the final “murder of this song” has been committed in a symbolic sense?W artykule omówiony został problem funkcjonowania mitów w aktualnych okolicznościach kulturowych, czyli w ponowoczesności. Wskazano na zasadniczą kwestię stosunku ponowoczesnego człowieka do tradycji i jej przekazu. Rozważono też problematykę związaną z poszukiwaniem nowej mitologii i związaną z tym zagadnieniem koncepcję Josepha Campbella. Uwzględniono również propozycje myślenia o rzeczywistości i tradycji ujęte w teoriach Rogera Fidlera, Wolfganga Welscha i Paula Virilio. Podjęto próbę odpowiedzi na pytania: czy można dziś postrzegać opowieść jako „pieśń” i czy w świecie stechnicyzowanym, zwirtualizowanym i naznaczonym pluralizmem wszystkiego dokonało się, w sensie symbolicznym, ostateczne „zabójstwo owej pieśni”

The review of the book entitled Świat naszych przodków. Tradycje wiosennego cyklu obrzędowego (The World of Our Ancestors. Traditions of the Spring Ritual Cycle) written under the direction of Agnieszka Przybyła-Dumin, PhD, which is the third part of the cycle: Świat naszych przodków (The World of Our Ancestors), points to the importance of the purpose of the publication and the value of the collected within it research materials. Furthermore, the reviewers highlighted the accuracy and openness of the research informants, as well as the accuracy of its language and terminology. They made a brief evaluation of the publication as the one having a scientific value and meeting the requirements of scientific research. They also noted the significance of this publication as documenting the intangible heritage of the areas of Bronowo, Ligota, Zabrzeg and Czechowice-Dziedzice.W recenzji książki pt. Tradycje wiosennego cyklu obrzędowego, napisanej pod kierunkiem dr Agnieszki Przybyły-Dumin, stanowiącej trzecią część cyklu Świata naszych przodków, wskazano na istotny cel publikacji oraz wagę zebranych materiałów badawczych. Podkreślono dokładność i otwartość badawczą informatorów, a także język i dokładność terminologiczną. PROBLEM DYSKURSYWNEGO OTWARCIA W MYŚLENIU O WYCHOWANIU I EDUKACJI

The article discusses the problem of discursive openness in thinking about postmodern upbringing and broadly understood education. Particular attention has been drawn to considerations concerning postmodernist pedagogy and philosophy, yet with reference to the broad perspective of the postmodern reality. Furthermore, the author of the article discusses the issues related to the general discourse in the area of the aforementioned sciences and the openness appearing in them, along with the matters connected with the dialectics and the teaching of philosophy in the context of the postmodernist approach to and reflection on openness in both a scientific and socio-cultural discourse. Reference was also made to the thoughts of, among others, Tomasz Szkudlarek, Henry Giroux, Theodor Adorno, Jean-François Lyotard.W artykule rozważony został problem dyskursywnego otwarcia w myśleniu o ponowoczesnym wychowaniu i szeroko pojętej edukacji. Zwrócono uwagę zwłaszcza na rozważania na gruncie pedagogiki postmodernistycznej i filozofii, jednak w odniesieniu do szerokiej perspektywy rzeczywistości ponowoczesnej. Poruszono również kwestie związane z powszechnym dyskursem w obszarze wspomnianych nauk i ujawniającym się w nich otwarciem, ale też łączące się z dialektyką i nauczaniem filozofii w kontekście podejścia postmodernistycznego i refleksji nad otwarciem zarówno w dyskursie naukowym, jak i społeczno-kulturowym.
