衣服製作に関するアンケート調査と結果の解析

　An investigation into the actual condition of dressmaking was made to the freshmen, sophomores and their mothers belong to the General Living Course in Kobe Women’s Junior College.　Generally, the order of levels from higher to lower in both knowledges and skills for dressmaking tools and dressmaking terms was mothers, sophomores and freshmen. Most of the sewing machines they utilized was electric sewing machines for domestic use. The frequency of utilization of the machines was mainly more than once per year Also following tendencies were found; easier mendings of clothes were done by themselves, however a little more difficult mendings were left to other persons. The motives of dressmaking were different a little among freshmen, sophomores and their mothers. And it was found that the wishes of dressmaking in future were stronger in students than their mothers

アパレル縫製におけるスーツの表布と接着芯についての考察

　During lessons how to sew a suit by the computer-aided-designed apparel in our college, use of the glue-backed pads is considered to be quite important for making a excellent suit and forming a good silhouette.　Under various conditions, adhesion of face fabrics of the suit cloths with the glue-backed pads was carried out. The degree of shrinkage of the fabrics and pads was measured by changing the temperature, pressure and time during the press process for the adhesion. It was considered that the optimum conditions for the adhesion were 150℃, 300g／㎠, and 10sec under the experimental conditions. Under the optimum conditions, three kinds of suits were prepared in the teaching of apparel sewing, and satisfactory results were obtained
