On the behaviour of Brauer -dimensions under finitely-generated field extensions
The present paper shows that if or , where is the set of prime numbers, then there exist characteristic fields , of Brauer dimension Brd and
infinite absolute Brauer -dimensions abrd, for all not dividing . This ensures that Brd, , for every finitely-generated transcendental
extension . We also prove that each sequence , , satisfying the conditions and , equals the sequence abrd, , for a field of characteristic zero.Comment: LaTeX, 14 pages: published in Journal of Algebra {\bf 428} (2015),

Comment on ``Large-space shell-model calculations for light nuclei''
In a recent publication Zheng, Vary, and Barrett reproduced the negative
quadrupole moment of Li-6 and the low-lying positive-parity states of He-5 by
using a no-core shell model. In this Comment we question the meaning of these
results by pointing out that the model used is inadequate for the reproduction
of these properties.Comment: Latex with Revtex, 1 postscript figure in separate fil
Microscopic description of the beta delayed deuteron emission from \bbox{^6}He
The beta delayed deuteron emission from He is studied in a dynamical
microscopic cluster model. This model gives a reasonably good description for
all the subsystems of He and Li in a coherent way, without any free
parameter. The beta decay transition probability to the Li ground state is
underestimated by a few percents. The theoretical beta delayed deuteron
spectrum is close to experiment but it is also underestimated by about a factor
1.7. We argue that, in spite of their different magnitudes, both
underestimations might have a common origin. The model confirms that the
neutron halo part of the He wave function plays a crucial role in quenching
the beta decay toward the + d channel.Comment: LATEX with REVTEX, Submitted to Phys. Rev. C, 11 pages, 3 figures

Three-Body Halos. II. from Two- to Three-Body Asymptotics
The large distance behavior of weakly bound three-body systems is
investigated. The Schr\"{o}dinger equation and the Faddeev equations are
reformulated by an expansion in eigenfunctions of the angular part of a
corresponding operator. The resulting coupled set of effective radial equations
are then derived. Both two- and three-body asymptotic behavior are possible and
their relative importance is studied for systems where subsystems may be bound.
The system of two nucleons outside a core is studied numerically in detail and
the character of possible halo structure is pointed out and investigated.Comment: 16 pages, compressed and uuencoded PosrScript file, IFA-94/3
HEALTH-PRESERVING SYSTEM IN MODERN ENTERPRISES: CONCEPTS OF FORMATION AND FEATURES OF IMPLEMENTATION
The study examines the concept of formation and the features of the implementation of a health-preserving system in modern enterprises connected with the social responsibility of businesses. The theoretical and methodological foundation of the study is comprised of an analysis of scientific literature on the research problem and the work of Russian enterprises to preserve employees’ health. The developed conceptual model of health-preserving consists of two functional blocks: one focusing on employees’ health and the other – on the local population’s health. The study presents health-preserving measures and tools and discusses their economic and social effects. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of planning and managing the health-preserving system as an element in corporate strategy and its importance for enterprises' sustainable development
Combating corruption-related crimes in the context of counterterrorism efforts
The authors study in details such aspects of the problem as the processes of criminal concrement of organized crime, corruption and terrorism, in which organized crime plays the role of initiating (defining) factor of emergence of corruption interconnections of government institutions and terrorist groups. It means that terrorist activity, possessing a range of common features typical for, among other things, organized crime, is impossible without corruption-related contacts in government institutions and self-government bodies. Therefore, long-term functioning of terrorist groups means the presence of a corruption element. The authors study the common patterns of using corruption-related practices by terrorists and substantiate the list of corruption-determined terrorist threats. The authors formulate the suggestions about the extension of the list of risks connected with the corruption-based financing of terrorism. Corruption in government institutions, local self-government bodies and security agencies is a fueler for the development of terrorism, acting, on the one hand, as a reason for its emergence, and on the other hand, as an indispensable condition of its existence. The recognition of corruption as an independent risk factor of the creation of favorable conditions for the financing of terrorism will help to improve counterterrorism efforts.  The authors note that the terrorist threat increases with the level of corruption. Thus, the fight against corruption should remain one of the key directions of national policy, and the effectiveness of these counterterrorism efforts will affect the reduction of terrorist threat level for the state.

Logistic Solutions for the Organization of Combined Cargo Transportation
The article is devoted to the organization of combined cargo transportation in the activities of logistic operators on the Russian market. The paper considers features of the organization of combined cargo transportation and the related directions and tasks of the logistic services development in the modern market. Methodological tools of the research: analysis of the statistical sources of information reflecting the specifics, delivery schemes and problems in the organization of combined cargo transportation. The authors, conducting a study of the functioning, one of the largest 3 PL operators providing logistic services for the combined cargo transportation, identified problems in this process. This allowed to develop and offer a tool for improving this process, which reduces not only time costs, but also improves the quality of logistic service for the client.</jats:p
