The use of high altitude aerial photography to inventory wildlife habitat in Kansas: An initial evaluation
The use of aerial photography as a method for determining the wildlife conditions of an area is discussed. Color infrared photography is investigated as the most effective type of remote sensor. The characteristics of the remote sensing systems are described. Examples of the remote sensing operation and the method for reducing the data are presented
Correlations in nuclear energy recurrence relations
The excitation energies of states belonging to the ground state bands of
heavy even-even nuclei are analysed using recurrence relations. Excellent
agreement with experimental data at the 10 keV level is obtained by taking into
account strong correlations which emerge in the analysis. This implies that the
excitation energies can be written as a polynomial of maximum degree four in

Defense Counsel as Prosecution Witness: A Combined Doctrine to Govern Attorney Disclosure
Prosecutors have increasingly used grand juries to compel defense attorneys to disclose client administrative data such as clients\u27 names, fee amounts, or third-party fee payments. A majority of the federal circuit courts protect administrative information only if disclosure would reveal the substance of previous attorney-client conversations. In contrast, a minority of the circuits protect such information when disclosure would incriminate a client in the case at bar. This Comment argues that neither of the current doctrines accomplishes the goals of the attorney-client privilege. Instead, a doctrine that combines the majority and minority views would more effectively promote the policies underlying the attorney-client privilege
Human-mobility-based sensor context-aware routing protocol for delay-tolerant data gathering in multi-sink cell-phone-based sensor networks
Ubiquitous use of cell phones encourages development of novel applications with sensors embedded in cell phones. The collection of information generated by these devices is a challenging task considering volatile topologies and energy-based scarce resources. Further, the data delivery to the sink is delay tolerant. Mobility of cell phones is opportunistically exploited for forwarding sensor generated data towards the sink. Human mobility model shows truncated power law distribution of flight length, pause time, and intercontact time. The power law behavior of inter-contact time often discourages routing of data using naive forwarding schemes. This work exploits the flight length and the pause time distributions of human mobility to design a better and efficient routing strategy. We propose a Human-Mobility-based Sensor Context-Aware Routing protocol (HMSCAR), which exploits human mobility patterns to smartly forward data towards the sink basically comprised of wi-fi hot spots or cellular base stations. The simulation results show that HMSCAR significantly outperforms the SCAR, SFR, and GRAD-MOB on the aspects of delivery ratio and time delay. Electromagnetic Transition Strengths in Heavy Nuclei
We calculate reduced B(E2) and B(M1) electromagnetic transition strengths
within and between K-bands in support of a recently proposed model for the
structure of heavy nuclei. Previously, only spectra and a rough indication of
the largest B(E2) strengths were reported. The present more detailed
calculations should aid the experimental identification of the predicted ,
and bands and, in particular, act to confirm or refute the
suggestion that the model and bands correspond to the well known
and widespread beta and gamma bands. Furthermore they pinpoint transitions
which can indicate the presence of a so far elusive band by feeding
relatively strongly into or out of it. Some of these transitions may already
