Chapter 3: The emissions gap in 2025 and 2030
This chapter explores the Intended Nationally Determined Contributions (INDCs) submitted by countries to UNFCCC, with a specific focus on the extent to which the INDCs in aggregate are in accordance with the long-term objective of the Convention, which is “[…] to achieve […] stabilization of greenhouse gas concentrations in the atmosphere at a level that would prevent dangerous anthropogenic interference with the climate system”.
