Diseño urbano a nivel de anteproyecto de los márgenes de protección del río Quintul en Chiquintad, Cuenca, Ecuador

El presente trabajo de titulación pretende mejorar las condiciones urbano espaciales en torno al río Quintul mediante el diseño urbano de sus márgenes de protección. El río Quintul constituye un eje vital que fluye a través del corazón de la parroquia Chiquintad, situada en la provincia del Azuay, proporcionando a sus habitantes y al asentamiento una serie de características distintivas que forman su carácter y paisaje urbano. La propuesta surge de la necesidad de recuperar los márgenes del río y dotar de espacios públicos funcionales y de calidad para aprovechar los recursos naturales y paisajísticos del río en beneficio de la comunidad, manteniendo los ecosistemas biodiversos del asentamiento de manera sostenible. El desarrollo del proyecto comprende cuatro capítulos: el primero describe un marco conceptual que proporciona las bases teóricas necesarias para la investigación; el segundo realiza un análisis de proyectos existentes, los cuales proporcionan características y criterios de diseño que sirven de guía para el desarrollo de la presente propuesta; el tercer capítulo realiza un diagnóstico del área de estudio, mediante este análisis se comprende las condiciones actuales que posibilitan una correcta toma de decisiones, además de la participación ciudadana a través de encuestas en las que se pudo conocer sus ideas y necesidades; el cuarto capitulo desarrolla la propuesta de anteproyecto, este proceso implica la planificación y diseño urbano de un parque lineal y sus espacios complementarios. Con el proyecto se pretende integrar de manera armoniosa el río con el entorno urbano, recuperando las visuales y los paisajes naturales.The purpose of this degree work is to improve the conditions around the Quintul River through the urban design of its protection margins. The Quintul River constitutes a vital artery that flows through the heart of the Chiquintad community, located in the Province of Azuay, providing its inhabitants and settlement with a series of distinctive characteristics that keep its urban landscape. The proposal arises from the need to recover the banks of the river and provide functional and quality public spaces to take advantage of the natural landscape resources of the river for the benefit of the community. Maintaining the biodiverse ecosystems of the settlement in a sustainable manner. The development of the project has four chapters: The first describes a conceptual framework that provides the basic theoretical basis necessary for the research. The second chapter performs an analysis of existing projects, which provides characteristics and design criteria that serve as a guide for the development of the following proposal. The third chapter carries out an investigation of the area, through this analysis we would look for the current conditions that enable correct decision-making. This will be done through a survey with the participation of the citizens, through this survey it is possible to know their needs and ideas. The fourth chapter develops the preliminary project proposal, this process involves the planning and urban design of a linear park and its complementary spaces.
