    This paper describes a precast prestressed concrete structure system on the Moon and erection methods for this system. The horizontal section of the structural module is hexagonal so that various layouts of the modules are possible by connecting the adjacent modules to each other. For erection of the modules, specially designed mobile cranes are used

    Background: Patients with essential thrombocythemia (ET) often experience bleeding associated with acquired von Willebrand syndrome (AVWS) when the platelet count is markedly increased. Objective: We investigated whether von Willebrand factor (VWF) degradation is enhanced in patients with ET. Methods: Seventy patients with ET underwent VWF multimer (VWFM) analysis and measurement of VWF-related parameters. We calculated the VWFM index, defined as the ratio of intensities of a patient's molecular weight-categorized VWFMs, and those of a healthy subject's, using densitometric analysis. VWF degradation product (DP) was measured via ELISA using a monoclonal antibody that specifically recognizes Y1605 at the C-terminal boundary, which is exposed following ADAMTS13-mediated cleavage of the Y1605-M1606 bond of the VWF A2 domain. Results: Patients with higher platelet counts had a significantly reduced high molecular weight (HMW)-VWFM index and an increased VWF-DP: VWF antigen (Ag) ratio compared to those with lower platelet counts. On multivariate analysis, the VWF-DP/ VWF:Ag ratio was an independent predictor of the HMW-VWFM index. Patients who underwent cytoreductive therapy had a significantly higher HMW-VWFM index and lower VWF-DP/ VWF:Ag ratio than those who did not. Among individual patients, there was also a significant increase in the HMW-VWFM index and a decrease in the VWF-DP/ VWF:Ag ratio after cytoreductive therapy compared to pre-therapy values. Conclusion: In patients with ET, an increased platelet count is associated with enhanced cleavage of VWF at the Y1605-M1606 bond, primarily by ADAMTS13, leading to AVWS. Cytoreductive therapy reduces the platelet count, prevents excessive VWF cleavage, and improves VWFM distributions.博士(医学)・甲第881号・令和5年3月15

    Effect of Kampo medicine “Dai-kenchu-to” on microbiome in the intestine of the rats with fast stress

    [Purpose] Diversity of gut microbiome has been recently reported to be lost in inflammatory bowel disease. We have previously reported that the Dai-kenchu-to (DKT) prevented the bacterial translocation through suppression of cytokine and apoptosis in rat’s fast stress model. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of DKT on maintenance of microbial diversity in rat’s intestine with inflammation. [Method] Wister rats were received the fast stress for 5 days. In DKT group, rats were administered with DKT (300 mg/kg/day) during the fast stress (DKT-group). The gut microbiomes were analyzed at before- and after- fast stress, and the effect of DKT for on microbial diversities of the gut were evaluated by the PCR-clone library method targeting the 16 S ribosomal RNA gene. [Result] In Control-group, Erysipelotrichaceae increased to 86% in after fast stress, OTU of before-fast stress was 111 and after fast stress was only 9 (changing rate : 58%). The diversity of microbiome was severely decreased. On the other hand, in DKT-group, diversity of microbiome was kept after fast stress (Lachnospiraceae : Ruminococcaceae : Coriobacteriales 54%, 22%, 5%), Operational taxonomic units of before fast stress was 52 and after fast stress was 55 (changing rate : 6%). Family Lachnospiraceae which includes butyrate-producing Clostridia (Clostridium IV and XIVa). [Conclusion] DKT prevented the reduction of diversity of microbiome in rat’s fast stress model. Our data suggested the new anti-inflammatory mechanism of DKT through gut microbiome

    The crystal structures of highly-ordered Mg-Zn-Y long-period stacking-ordered (LPSO) phases with the 18. R, 14. H and 10. H-type stacking sequences have been investigated by atomic-resolution scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM) and transmission electron microscopy (Kishida et al., 2015) [1]. This data article provides supporting materials for the crystal structure analysis based on the crystallographic theory of the order-disorder (OD) structure and the crystallographic information obtained through the structural optimization for various simple polytypes of the highly-ordered Mg-Zn-Y LPSO phases with the 18.
