Development of a Science Database System Applicable to Various Access Restrictions

金沢大学総合メディア基盤センターWe developed a general-purpose database (DB) system that manages and opens experimental and/or observational data accumulated in universities and academic institutes. This platform works as a web-DB management system in which databases can be easily managed without special skills and facilities. By defining a group manager and data manager, the proposed system defines a flexible access restriction for each user and each unit of datasets under the control of these managers. We demonstrate how a variety of web-DBs are appropriately integrated under one management system in such situations in which each web-DB has a different user interface in its search and data distribution functions and is designed with a different language (or script) and connection method to its DB. In spite of the diversity of web-DBs, the proposed system is highly suitable for practical use

リポジトリ用データ管理システムの構築

金沢大学総合メディア基盤センター近年のオープンサイエンスの活発化に伴い, 人間と機械の双方に可読性を持つリポジトリシステムの需要が高まっている. このような背景から, 本研究では, 国立情報学研究所が開発したWEKO を用いて, 金沢大学環日本海域環境研究センター及び同国際文化資源学研究センターのデータリポジトリの構築を行っている.従来, WEKO へのコンテンツの一括登録には, Windows でのみ動作するソフトウェアが必要であった. 我々は, ICT に精通しているとは限らないデータ所有者が, リポジトリ上のデータ管理を行えるように, OS に非依存なブラウザからファイルをアップロードするだけでコンテンツの一括登録に加え, メタデータやコンテンツの追加登録・更新等が可能なデータ管理システムを構築した. 特に更新機能では, 「更新フラグ」属性を用いて, コンテンツの世代管理とその公開方法の制御を可能にした. 本稿では両センターのデータリポジトリと構築したデータ管理システムの概要を述べる.Along with the recent activation of open science, the demand for a repository system that is readable to both humans and machines is increasing. In this context, we constructed data repositories for Institute of Nature and Environmental Technology and Center for Cultural Resource Studies in Kanazawa University using WEKO, which is a repository platform developed by the National Institute of Informatics. In the original design of the WEKO, it is necessary to utilize software for Windows for batch registration of data contents. In the present study, we developed a new user interface for data management for data owners who are not familiar with ICT. By using this system, it is possible for data owners to operate a batch processing for additional registration, update of the registered contents and modication of the metadata simply by uploading a le via browser without depending on the OS. Particularly, it is innovative that out software supports revision control and data access control of the contents by setting "update ag"attribute. パソコン相談カウンターによるワンストップサービスとサポート窓口支援システムの開発

金沢大学総合メディア基盤センター近年における本学のICTサービスやインフラはますます拡充しているが、それに比例して窓口サービスなどのサポートについても重要性が高まってきている。サービスが増えるごとにその担当窓口も増え、ユーザが迅速に窓口のサポートサービスを受けることができない状況となり、その改善が求められていた。そこで本学は「パソコン相談カウンター」を設置しその状況を改善することができた。またこのパソコン相談カウンターを支援するため、「パソコン相談カウンター支援システム」を開発し、より効率的な業務を運用できるようになった

大学間教育連携を実現する分散型教育情報共有システム

金沢大学総合メディア基盤センター大学間で連携して教育交流・情報発信・調査研究等を行う機会が増加している。本研究課題では、各大学がそれぞれ保有する教材や資料などの様々なコンテンツを、組織の壁を越えて柔軟に相互利用可能な機構の実現を目指し、学術組織間デジタル資料分散共有システム"ARCADE"の開発を行った。その結果、組織の違いを意識することなく利用者の特性に応じて利用可能なコンテンツを容易にかつ安全・安心に取り扱うことが可能な機構を実現することに成功した。Opportunities for educational, research-oriented, and business-related collaborations among higher-education institutions are increasing.Against this background, I have developed the file-sharing system “ARchive system forcross-referencing across a distributed environment (ARCADE)”. スーパーグローバル時代の大学間連携の展開を担う安全・安心な教育連携基盤の実現

大学の枠組みを超え、地域や分野に応じて大学間が相互に連携し、社会の要請に応えるための活動が盛んになっている。本研究課題では、様々な情報システムを大学間で相互利用する際、各大学における認証方式の多様化・広域化が進む中、大学毎に認証レベルにばらつきが出ることの無いように、認証レベルを維持可能なアーキテクチャを開発し、取り扱う情報の重要度に応じた適切なレベルでの利用者認証が可能な大学間教育連携基盤を目指した。Beyond the framework of one university, universities are collaborating with each other according to regions and fields to meet the demands of society. In this research project, when various information systems are used between universities, even if authentication methods are becoming more diverse at each university, I have developed an architecture in order not to the authentication level will not vary from university to university. ユーザエクスペリエンスを重視した安全・安心な大学間教育連携基盤の実現

金沢大学総合技術部情報部門(情報)近年、大学間で連携して様々な活動を行う機会が増加している。本研究課題では、各大学が保持する様々な情報システム群を安全・安心に相互利用できるための大学間認証連携基盤の実現を目指した。実現に向けて、利用者の利便性を重視しながらも、各情報システムが扱う情報の重要度に応じて適切なレベルでの利用者認証が可能な機構の確立と、現在主流となっているID・パスワード認証よりセキュアな多要素認証に関する研究開発を行った。In recent years, opportunities for various collaborative activities among universities are increasing. In this research, I aimed at the realization of the authentication infrastructure among universities that users can use information systems held by each university safely and securely. I carried out establishing of the mechanism which can selects the appropriate level of authentication method in accordance with the importance of the each information system in consideration of the convenience of users.
