The main causes of death of patients with liver cirrhosis is, on the one hand, hepatocellular failure and, on the other, the complications in portal hypertension syndrome. The main complications of portal hypertension syndrome are: ascites, variceal gastrointestinal bleeding, porto-systemic encephalopathy, hyperdynamic systemic circulation and pulmonary vascular pathology.В настоящее время хронические заболевания печени являются одной из основных причин заболеваемости и смертности во всем мире и особенно в Молдове. Основной причиной смерти больных циррозом печени является, с одной стороны гепатоцеллюлярная недостаточность, с другой – осложнения синдрома портальной гипертензии. Основными осложнениями синдрома портальной гипертензии являются: асцит, варикозное расширение вен желудочно-кишечного тракта, порто-системная энцефалопатия, гипердинамические нарушения кровообращения и легочная сосудистая патология

The particularities of the treatment with Teofilin retard in patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease

Catedra Medicină internă nr.5 USMF „N.Testimiţanu”The aim of this study was to appreciate the action of Teofilin retard on the symptomatic and pulmonary ventilation, alveolo-arterial diffusion and on the sanguine gases in patients with COPD. It was demonstrated that Teofilin retard is an efficient remedy of treatment in patients with COPD which improves the bronchial permeability, pulmonary ventilation and alveolo-arterial diffusion. Teofilin retard improves the gas metabolism by a benefic influence on pulmonary ventilation, as well as by the optimization of the O2 transport through the arterial blood to the organs and tissues. Scopul acestui studiu a fost de a aprecia acţiunea Teofilinei retard asupra simptomaticii, ventilaţiei pulmonare, difuziunii alveolo-arteriale şi a gazelor sangviune la pacienţii cu BPCO. S-a demonstrat, că Teofilina este un remediu eficient de tratament al pacienţilor cu BPCO ce ameliorează permeabilitatea bronhiilor, ventilaţia pulmonară şi difuziunea alveolo-arterială.Teofilina ameliorează metabolismul gazos atât prin acţiunea benefică asupra ventilaţiei pulmonare, cât şi prin optimizarea transportului de O2 de către sângele arterial spre organe şi ţesuturi
