Celem niniejszej pracy jest prezentacja efektywnego środowiska programistycznego do przeprowadzaniaeksperymentów z dziedziny uczenia maszynowego (z naciskiem na głębokie uczenie maszynowe)oraz ukazanie go jako alternatywy do obecnie istniejących podejść.Na pracę składa się sześć projektów:- seafig - konfiguracja eksperymentów- sciper - zapis i odczyt danych z eksperymentów- torchautosettings - zautomatyzowane zarządzanie ustawieniami- torchlayers - uproszczone prototypowanie sieci neuronowych- torchdata - transformacja i optymalizacja przesyłu danych do sieci neuronowych- torchtraining - uproszczony trening sieci neuronowych poprzez podejście wzorowane na programowaniu funkcyjnym.The purpose of this thesis is to show an effective development environment for machine learning experimentation (with emphasis on deep learning) and outlining the aforementioned as an alternative to existing approaches.The thesis includes six projects, their purpose and naming are as follows:- seafig - experiment configuration- sciper - reading and writing experiment data- torchautosettings - automated settings/device handling for PyTorch- torchlayers - simplified neural network prototyping via shape/dimensions inference- torchdata - transformation and optimization of data loading pipelines- torchtraining - simplified neural network training inspired by functional approach
THE ANALYSIS OF MACHINE OPERATION AND EQUIPMENT LOSS IN IRONWORKS AND STEELWORKS
The article presents a case study of the identification and analysis of operating and equipment losses in a steel plant. Losses may be visible in costs resulting from premature wear of machine and equip-ment components, removal of emergency failures related to quality losses, including loss of reputa-tion of a reliable supplier, as well as losses related to production, especially in the case of continuous production. The analysis of losses was based on the cost criterion, including losses resulting from the loss of a potential client. The real data from the 2016 were used in the case study. In order to ensure proper operation at the finishing department, standard solutions have been developed. The analysis of losses was based on the Pareto principle and the analysis of TPM coefficients

Problems in the Implementation of the Lean Concept at a Steel Works - Case Study
The paper presents the experience of implementing selected instruments of the Lean concept at a steel works. The functioning of an enterprises in the currently prevailing conditions, i.e. in a turbulent environment, results in increased customer requirements. They expect, among other things, high quality of steel products delivered on time at a low price. Many organizations decide to implement the lean management concept without proper preparation. Statistical Analysis of Quality Parameters of Pig Iron
Steel is currently main structural material in the world. Pig iron, which is the basic product of blast furnace process, is the semi-product used in steel-making processes. It is an alloy of iron with carbon containing above 2% C and other elements with limited content, intended for further processing. Chemical composition of pig iron is its basic quality factor, it defines its class and meeting requirements set by steel plant department. It is important that this chemical composition is as stable as possible. In addition, the temperature of pig iron is also very important quality parameter. The paper presents statistical analysis of quality parameters of pig iron produced in one of Polish steelworks. The content of alloying elements and temperature of tapping of pig iron from blast furnace were examined. The amount of non-conforming production and the losses related to the low quality were assessed
