Early Death from Rabies Despite of Receiving Immunoglobulin and Vaccine

Rabies is a viral disease with the high rate of mortality, which is non-curable after presenting clinical signs weather in humans or animals. Persons who are bitten by suspicious animals can be protected from rabies, in case of early referring to the health care preventive centers. However, the rate of durability and safety are questionable among those received immunoglobulin and vaccine. Here, it was reported a 57 year-old woman who was bitten by a jackal and died, despite of receiving immunoglobulin and rabies vaccine.  </p

Here, it was reported a 57 year-old woman who was bitten by a jackal and died, despite of receiving immunoglobulin and rabies vaccine.   هاری یک بیماری ویروسی است که میزان کشندگی بالایی داشته و پس از ظهور علائم بالینی چه در انسان و چه در حیوان درمان پذیر نخواهد بود. افرادی كه مورد گاز گرفتگی توسط حیوانات مشکوک قرار می گیرند، در صورت مراجعه سریع به مراكزی که خدمات پیشگیرانه را ارائه می دهند، می توانند از ابتلای به بیماری هاری در امان قرار بگیرند. اما دوام و میزان ايمني در افرادي كه ایمونوگلوبولین و واكسن هاري را تزريق نموده‌اند،  مورد سؤال است. در اين مقاله، خانم 57 ساله‌اي معرفی می شود که توسط شغال مورد گزش قرار گرفته و عليرغم دريافت ایمونوگلوبولین و واكسن هاري فوت كرده است
