Phase Diagram of FeSe Deposited by Electrochemical Technique with Different Temperature and Voltage

High-quality crystalline FeSe is successfully synthesized in 5 minutes by an electrochemical deposition technique via increasing the solution temperature. The synthesis of FeSe have been controlled by the applied voltage, synthesis time and pH value. The obtained samples were summarized as a phase diagram at each temperature and applied voltage. The best synthesis temperature to produce high-quality crystalline samples was found to be 70{\deg}C.Comment: 10 pages, 1 figur

Effect of lymphotoxin-like substance (OH-1) on metastatic tumor proliferation.

The effect of a lymphotoxin-like substance, OH-1, released by human acute lymphatic leukemia BALL-1 cells, on metastatic tumor proliferation was investigated in BDF1 mice with transplanted Lewis lung carcinoma cells. Mitomycin-C, cyclophosphamide and adriamycin were used as control agents. The effect of OH-1 on metastases, as determined by comparison of the numbers of pulmonary nodules and by 3H-thymidine labeling indices, was significant. Also, investigation of the effect of OH-1 on host immunity showed that, while the control preparations had considerable side effects, immunodepression and emaciation were not noted with OH-1. As to direct cytotoxicity, OH-1 is principally cytostatic in activity and effects cell progression delay in both the G1 and G2 phases.</p

Challenges to Establishing Partnerships in Peer Support Activities for Individuals with Mental Disorders

This study aimed to clarify the current state of and issues related to establishing partnerships in peer support activities for individuals with mental disorders. An anonymous, self-administered questionnaire survey was conducted among participants of a meeting for peer supporters of individuals with mental disorders. The following aspects were assessed: participant characteristics, motivations and difficulties of engaging in such services, and various other challenges. Free response content in the questionnaire was analyzed with qualitative and inductive methods. Our findings highlight the need to create an appropriate environment for peer supporters to share their recovery experiences in order to assist the formation of relationships with individuals with mental disorders through peer support services
