Two Candidates for Dual AGN in Dwarf-Dwarf Galaxy Mergers
Dual AGN are important for understanding galaxy-merger-triggered fueling of
black holes and hierarchical growth of structures. The least explored type of
dual AGN are those associated with mergers of two dwarf galaxies. According to
observations and cosmological simulations, dwarf galaxies are the most abundant
type of galaxies in the early Universe and the galaxy merger rate is dominated
by dwarfs. However, these mergers are generally too distant to be directly
observed, and low-redshift dwarf-dwarf merger-related dual AGN are notoriously
hard to find. In this paper, we present the first results of our large-scale
search for this elusive type of object and the first two candidates for dual
AGN in dwarf-dwarf mergers. Both objects exhibit tidal features (tails and
bridges) characteristic of galaxy mergers/interactions. One object is
apparently in a late-stage merger with an AGN separation of < 5kpc, while the
second is in an early-stage merger with interacting galaxies having established
a tidal bridge. Both objects have dual, luminous X-ray sources that are most
likely due to actively accreting massive black holes. Also, both objects have
infrared counterparts, with colors consistent with being AGN. Follow-up
observations will provide us a glimpse into key processes that govern the
earliest phases of growth of galaxies, their central black holes, and
merger-induced star formation.Comment: Accepted for publication in ApJ. 14 pages, 7 figures, 3 table
PreduzetniÄko Okruženje i Konkurentnost u Bih i Srbiji / Business Environment and Competitiveness in Bih and Serbia
Bosnia and Herzegovina together with Serbia shows the poor economic performance compared to neighbor countries, while the European average remains a remote and largely unattainable category. The reasons for this unsatisfactory situation are many, and this paper aims to highlight the entrepreneurial aspect of the economic dynamics of these countries compared to the world, European and regional average. We will use comparative, statistical, dynamical and cognitive analysis and synthesis in order to get better insight into the causes of our current situation, as well as recognizing the potential comparative advantages. Through presentation of the BiH and Serbia position in the Reports of the World Economic Forum in relation to the weighted averages of the world, Europe and the region, and further through the analysis of the basic parameters of competitiveness and detailed analysis of business environment indicators we will reach important conclusions about the most important shortcomings and potential advantages of entrepreneurship in BiH and Serbia. These results should be kept in mind while creating future economic measures, and they have considerable usable value for current and future entrepreneurs

Exploring the neglected voices of children in sustainable tourism development: A comparative study in six European tourist destinations
For years, sustainable tourism has commanded the attention of academics and practitioners given its achievement through participatory planning. However, much research in the area has neglected to consider all voices of those (i.e., children) affected by tourism. This study, employing a post-test only experimental design, addresses this gap by including the voices of 498 children from six diverse European destinations concerning perceptions of tourism. Results show that children are willing to express their opinions given the opportunity. Moreover, their attitude towards tourists is negative, while they perceive locals to hold a subordinate position to tourists. In general, this study offers insight into childrenās attitudes to tourism from the host perspective, demonstrating that there is a unique insiderās perspective that needs further research
