REALIZATION OF THE TOPO-CADASTRAL WORKS NECESSARY FOR THE REGISTRATION OF A CADASTRAL SECTOR, BELONGING TO CÄTINA COMMUNE, CLUJ COUNTY IN SYSTEMATIC CADASTRE
The study presents the analysis of the documentation for the registration of a cadastral sector in the systematic cadastre, the method approached at national level in order to determine the land areas and their registration in the Land Register. GNSS Global Positioning Technology has been used in this work, using a Trimble R8 GPS receiver and measurements made by linking to the National GNSS Station Network. For the elaboration of the cadastral plan were analysed the documents provided by the owners and the City Hall of Catina village. It is found that there are 27 buildings that have not been previously registered in the Land Register. The necessary measurements have been made and the property limits are positioned according to the documentation. It is found that the process used is an efficient one because of the shorter production times, in correlation with the complexity of the surface. Also, overlaps between neighbours have been eliminated

USE OF MODERN TECHNIQUE IN PREPARING THE TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION FOR THE REGISTRATION IN THE LAND BOOK OF A PROPERTY
The paper presents the way of drawing up the cadastral documentation for the first registration in the Land Book of a property. The total station and GNSS receivers were used as topographic devices for measurements, which offered a high accuracy of the measured data and a shortening of the time spent in the field. The data processing and the elaboration of the documentation was done through specialized programs (Toposys, Autocad). As the surveying method was used the method of closed planimetric traverse supported on known coordinate points (previously determined with GNSS technology), combined with the method of polar coordinates
Evaluating the severity of transverse cracks in beam-like structures by using an energy loss method
Over functioning time, structures can be affected by multiple types of damages caused by fatigue, improper production methods, or exceeding loads. The current paper describes a method for evaluating the severity of transverse cracks that are present in beam-like structures based on changes in the natural frequencies. Because the presence of damage has a negative impact on the energy that a beam can store in the affected section, it is possible to find the influence of the crack on any other position along the beam, considering the stored normalized energy in that location. The technique is based on a mathematical relationship that provides the exact solution to the frequency changes of the bending vibration modes, considering two terms. The first term is related to the tensile energy stored in the beam, and the second term considers the increase of flexibility due to cracks, for this reason, damage assessment is performed in two stages; first, the location of the crack is found and then an assessment of its severity is performed. In this study, the aim is to test the developed method for estimating the severity of transverse cracks for different sections and lengths of beams
