    Pengaruh Foot Massage Terhadap Kualitas Tidur Pasien Di Ruang ICU

    Gangguan tidur pasien kritis di ruang Intensive Care Unit dapat mengakibatkan terganggunya fungsi kekebalantubuh, menurunkan kemampuan otot inspirasi pernafasan, terganggunya sistem metabolisme, terganggunya regulasisistem saraf pusat dan kondisi psikologis pasien yang berdampak terhadap waktu perawatan berkepanjangan.Foot Massage merupakan salah satu terapi komplementer yang aman dan mudah diberikan dan mempunyai efekmeningkatkan sirkulasi, mengeluarkan sisa metabolisme, meningkatkan rentang gerak sendi, mengurangi rasa sakit,merelaksasikan otot dan memberikan rasa nyaman pada pasien. Tujuan penelitian ini teridentifikasinya perbedaanpengaruh skor kualitas tidur pada kelompok kontrol dan perlakuan. Penelitian quasi eksperimental ini menggunakankelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan dengan masing-masing kelompok dilakukan penilaian pretest dan postest.Jumlah sampel sebanyak 24 pasien. Instrumen kualitas tidur menggunakan Richard Campbell Sleep Quationare(RCSQ). Data dianalisis dengan uji t berpasangan dan uji t tidak berpasangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukan padakelompok kontrol tidak terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna rerata skor kualitas tidur (p = 0,150), sedangkan padakelompok perlakuan, terdapat perbedaan yang bermakna rerata skor kualitas tidur (p=0,002). Adapun selisih skorkualitas tidur pada kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan terdapat perbedaan secara bermakna (p= 0,026).Simpulan penelitian ini skor kualitas tidur pada kelompok intervensi lebih tinggi daripada kelompok kontrol,sehingga disarankan foot massage dijadikan evidence based di rumah sakit sebagai salah satu terapi komplementeryang dapat dijadikan intervensi mandiri keperawatan untuk membantu mengatasi gangguan tidur pasien kritis

    The Quality Of Life Of Toddler Post Colostomy In Bandung

    Congenital abnormalities in children are still quite high in Indonesia such as hirschsprung disease and anorectal malformations which require the fabrication of colostomy as bowel decompression and faecal expenditure alternatives. Stoma fabrication can have a physical or psychosocial impact on a child's life. This study aimed to determine the perception of parents on the quality of life in toddler-aged children with post colostomy. The method of this research was quantitative descriptive with 35 respondents obtained by consecutive sampling technique. The participants involved in this study were the parents of toddler-aged children who had experienced colostomy surgery. The data were collected using a Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory (Peds QL) questionnaire. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics. The results showed that 19 people (54.28%) of toddler-aged children who had experienced colostomy surgery had poor quality of life with the lowest score on cognitive function. The conclusions of this study indicated that most of parents perceived the quality of life of toddler-aged children who had experinced colostomy surgery in the bad category. The poor quality of life can affect the child growth. One of the efforts to improve the quality of life of children is by providing psychological therapy to help children deal with negative emotions and providing psychoeducation to parents about the importance of providing stimulus in toddler-aged childern so that children can have a better quality of life

    Gambaran Respon Anak Usia Prasekolah Dalam Menjalani Proses Transfusi

    Pre-school children with thalassemia who undergo the routine blood transfusion may show negative responses. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of responses of preschool-aged children who were undergoing blood transfusions in Thalassemia Clinic of RSUP Dr. Hasan Sadikin Bandung. This study used descriptive quantitative (descriptive research) with a sample of 50 children during the period of 3rd -13th June 2014. The samples were recruited using the incidental sampling technique. The results showed that almost all respondents demonstrated social responses (84%) with the most type of this response is asking for emotional support from meaningful people, almost all respondents showed affective responses (74%) with the most type of this response is in form of verbal expression, the majority of respondents indicated behavioral responses (66%) with the most type of this response is banging their arms and legs, and also cognitive responses (72%) with most types of this response is anxiety. Nearly half of the respondents showed a physiological response (34%) with rapid breathing types as the highest response. The conclusion of this study is that the largest percentage of the response demonstrated by pre-school children is the social response, in form of asking for emotional support from meaningful people. It was recommended that educational institutions and hospitals contribute to development of the nursing care in the field of children through training, particularly on the approach to the children before invasive treatment

    Self-Efficacy Parents in Undergoing Child Cancer Treatment at the Rumah Kanker Anak Cinta Bandung

    The incidence of cancer in children is increasing and has entered into the top ten most prevalent diseases in children. Cancer in children have an impact both physical and psychosocial changes that can occur as a result of the disease and the side effects of treatment. The treatment for children with cancer should be done continuously and lasts a long time, so the role of parents in supporting the treatment is very important. Parents are the important factors to implementation of family centered care in the treatment and care for children with cancer. The implementation of family centered care is influenced by the self efficacy belief of parents. This study aimed to identify parental self efficacy in the treatment of children with cancer at the Rumah Kanker Anak Cinta Bandung. This study used a descriptive quantitative. The sample in this study was chosen by consecutive sampling, and found 40 samples within a month. Data collection using questionnaires developed based on Bandura theory (1997). Data was analyzed using descriptive analyzes by frequency and persentation. The results showed that the majority of parents who have children with cancer have a high self efficacy as many as 23 people (57.5%). Parents who have children with cancer in this study had a high ability or confidence (self efficacy) in treating children with cancer. So that it can be very supportive for the process of care, treatment, and cure of children, which expected to improve the quality of life for children with cancer
