Psychosocial Practices: Methodology, Epistemology and Ethics

This work is aimed at discussing the psychosocial practices in which intervention and research are present and articulated. These practices are questioned as to their ability to generate/build psychological and social knowledge, to formulate theories, and to create methods and apparatus for action, research, self-assessment, and regulation, without losing sight of the ethical issues involved. The work asks whether practice creates psychosocial operators, that is, whether by means of its apparatus – attentive listening, free word, non-directivity, interview, among others, often in a real-life situation – it enables one to grasp the complexity of a phenomenon and to build a conceptual framework about it. It also inquires about the scientific criteria which ensure that production. As for ethics, the study evaluates the helping relationship implicated, warns against confusing practices with mission/ministry and suggests that, when it comes to intervention-research, ethics has the same importance as theory and method.Keywords: Practices; Psychosocial operators; Production of knowledge; Ethics.

Perfis de Mães Detentas Convivendo com Seus Filhos

O texto percorre informaes extradas de ampla pesquisa que tem como objeto de estudo o Centro de Referncia Gestante Privada de Liberdade (CRGPL), situado na cidade de Vespasiano, Minas Gerais. Dedica-se, especialmente, apresentao de dados estatsticos que configuram um perfil das detentas daquela instituio, trazendo tambm consideraes advindas de observaes e conversaes realizadas com detentas, que temperam a aridez numrica e mostram outra face do perfil. Descries quantitativas e qualitativas do perfil das detentas so marcantemente diferentes, sugerindo que, como prticas de pesquisa, os dois mtodos mais disputam que se harmonizam em seus resultados

Constituição da subjetividade por mulheres aprisionadas

Tendo as reflexões de Michel Foucault sobre modos de subjetivação como o principal referencial teórico, conduzimos oficinas de estética com mulheres aprisionadas em um Centro de Reintegração Social feminino da Associação de Proteção e Assistência aos Condenados(APAC) de Minas Gerais. Com o consentimento das presas e da instituição, as oficinas foram gravadas. A transcrição das falas das mulheres permitiu construir um corpus de pesquisa cuja análise revelou as práticas que, na prisão, as constituem como sujeitos, os modos como se objetivam, como se sujeitam às regras, seus códigos morais, valores e princípios de conduta, suas respostas a interdições, proibições, coerções, seus cuidados e práticas de si, suas relações com o próprio corpo e suas buscas por liberação.Palavras-chave: Prisão; modos de subjetivação; análise do discurso

A construção discursiva da desigualdade social em Viagem a Lilipute, de Jonathan Swift

eoi/doi Deposit-Electronic Object Identifierhttp://eoi.citefactor.org/10.11248/ehum.v4i1.432RESUMO: A análise da primeira parte do livro Viagens de Gulliver, de Jonathan Swift (1667-1745), é uma das unidades de uma pesquisa que visa identificar o discurso da eqüidade e da desigualdade sociais (Deds) em obras que descrevem sociedades fictícias (utopias, lendas, poemas, romances e aventuras). Buscam-se as significações imaginárias sociais de eqüidade e de desigualdade sociais no próprio texto, depois de cuidadosamente lido e transformado em corpus empírico de análise. As condições de produção da narrativa são pesquisadas em biografias do autor e informações sobre o contexto em que a obra foi escrita. Viagens de Gulliver foi publicado pela primeira vez em 1726 e até hoje constitui leitura para crianças e adultos. A análise aqui apresentada se refere apenas à primeira parte do livro, Viagem a Lilipute, quando Gulliver é um gigante entre anões. Não foi observado discurso da equidade social. O da desigualdade revela sociedades de estrutura claramente estratificada e vínculos sociais regidos por relações de mando e sujeição. Três séculos após o livro ter sido escrito, é um discurso ainda vivo.PALAVRAS-CHAVE: Discurso da desigualdade social; imaginário, a análise do discurso social, Teoria Histórica e Literária ABSTRACT: The analysis of the first part of the book Gulliver’s Travels, written by Jonathan Swift, is one of the unities of a research program aiming to apprehend the Discourse of Social Equality and Inequality in literature texts describing fictional societies (utopias, legends, poems, novels and adventures). Social imaginary meanings of equality and inequality are searched in the text, after carefully read and transformed in empirical corpus for analysis. The conditions of discourse production are searched in author’s biographies and in contextual information about his time and situation of writing. Gulliver’s Travels was first published in 1726 and continues to be read by children and adults. The analysis presented in this article refers only to the first part of the book, A Voyage to Lilliput in which Gulliver is a giant among dwarves. It was not observed a discourse of social equality. The discourse of inequality reveals societies whose structures are clearly stratified, with social links ruled by relationships involving command and subjection. Música, identidade, afetividade e poder: sinopse de uma pesquisa sobre corporações musicais

This article presents a synopsis prepared after a bibliographical research of 31 publications produced between 2004 and 2010 in the research named Music and its identity articulations in the musical corporations of São João del-Rei and surroundings: tradition and transformation in the historical and socio-cultural context. The theory and methodology of the matrix work are described in general terms, and the results of the bibliographical research are presented, showing the emergence and transformation of ten different thematic categories studied, the reconceptualization developed throughout the study and the conclusions which have been reached by now.O presente artigo apresenta uma sinopse feita a partir de uma pesquisa bibliográfica de 31 publicações geradas entre 2004 e 2010 na pesquisa A música e suas articulações identitárias nas corporações musicais de São João del-Rei e região: tradição e transformação no contexto histórico e sociocultural. A teoria e a metodologia do trabalho-matriz são descritas em linhas gerais e são apresentados os resultados da pesquisa bibliográfica que mostram o surgimento e a transformação de dez diferentes categorias temáticas estudadas, as reconceituações elaboradas ao longo do estudo e as conclusões a que se chegou até o momento
