    Concept of a system for Addressing Bad Publicity in Social Media Using Knowledge in Business Process Models

    In this work in progress research paper we describe a concept of a computerized system which can help in addressing the issue of bad publicity on blogs posted on platforms such as tumblr or wordpress, twitter, facebook and/or other public internet forums such as CNET. There are three parts to solve the problem. First, identifying and searching the web for such comments and creating a bag of words from every such comment. Second, creating an index of words occurring on process models and assign them weightage in different process models based on their frequency of occurrence. Third, to create an association between the bag of words derived from the comment and the process models using the index of words. Once the comment is associated to process model it can be directed to the process model owner for appropriate action. Thus knowledge inside the process models is used for directing the complaints towards relevant executives. This invention can also help in other similar uses such as software maintenance, automated process support, help desk etc where requests in natural language can be automatically assigned to relevant person based on their job description or process description or process map

Hence the flow phenomenon inside the intake manifold should be fully understood in order to consider the current requirement of higher engine efficiency. In this paper, the internal flow characteristics in the intake manifold of a four cylinder petrol engine is investigated computationally and variation of engine parameters with RPM is analyzed.     Information (biometric) security is concerned with the assurance of confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information in all forms, biometric information is very sophisticated in terms of all, in this work we are focusing on data pattern along with all security assurance, so that we can improve the matching performance with good security assurance, here one of the most effective RSA algorithm use with biometric (fingerprint) data. Our work includes the determination of appropriate key sizes with security issues and determines the matching performance using MATLAB and JDK1.6, performance of this system is more than 86.7% and when combines this with blind authentication techniques then we get all security assurance with high performance biometric cryptosystem

    Solvent extraction and separation of copper and zinc from a pickling solution

    Solvent extraction studies of copper and zinc have been carried out using Versatic 10 acid and Cyanex 272 separately from a model brass pickle liquor. Various parameters for the extraction and separation of copper and zinc such as effect of pH, extractant concentration, phase ratio etc. have been optimized. It was observed that copper was almost completely extracted into the organic phase comprising of 30% Versatic 10 acid at the equilibrium pH of 5.0 using the phase ratio of 1:1 whereas, zinc extraction was noticed at above pH 5.0. On the other hand the pH0.5 values were 3.5 and 4.6 for zinc and copper respectively with 20% Cyanex 272. The difference in pH0.5 value of 1.10 indicated the possible separation of Zn and Cu. By McCabe Thiele diagram number of stages required for the counter current extraction of copper and zinc has been determined for both the solvents. The stripping study showed that 1 mol/L H2SO4 was sufficient to strip metal ions in a single contact from each of the extractant

The results show that extraction of copper and zinc from solution after acid extraction increased with increase in pH and their pH0.5 values were found to be 3.5 and 4.6, and 2.5 and 5.5 with Cyanex 272 and LIX 984N, respectively; LIX 984N showed greater selectivity for copper compared to zinc.     Epidemiological study of insular glioma – an institutional experience

    Object: Insular gliomas are difficult and challenging tumors to operate and manage due to the inherent complexity and the adjacent vital structures around them. Our aim is to define the morbidity profile and the mortality associated with the maximum possible safe resection of these less common tumors.Methods: The study was conducted on patients who were diagnosed as insular gliomas on MRI. All grades of patients treated by microsurgical techniques at our center from 2010 to 2016 were included in the study.Results: Median age at diagnosis was 39.52 years, Mean KPS score was 92.Male patients constituted 23 of all patients.68% patients had right sided tumors.WHO grade 2 was most common grade and constituted 64% of all cases.One patient developed expressive aphasia and five patients developed hemiparesis .There was one mortality due to unrelated causes.Conclusion: With the use of meticulous microneurosurgical technique, safe yet aggressive resection of the insular gliomas can be accomplished with comparable morbidity and mortality rates even when the modern neurosurgical tool such as intraoperative neuromonitoring and neuronavigation systems are unavailable

    The malaria parasite carries a plastid called the apicoplast that has been the subject of intense study in the last 15 years. Having originated from red-algal plastids, the apicoplast has lost its ability to photosynthesize, but carries out other essential functions such as type-II fatty acid synthesis, biosynthesis of haem and isoprenoid synthesis; the DOXP pathway for isoprenoid synthesis has recently been demonstrated to be the only pathway critical for parasite survival in the erythrocytic stage. The apicoplast also has a functional Suf system for assembly of (Fe–S) complexes on target proteins. The organelle has a 35 kb, double-stranded DNA genome that encodes a set of RNAs and proteins, the latter being translated from organellar mRNA by an active translation machinery, a major component of which is encoded by the nucleus. This article reviews current knowledge of housekeeping functions of the Plasmodium apicoplast and its (Fe–S) assembly system and discusses these components as sites for drug intervention against malaria
