    Dynamic Weighted Round Robin Approach in Software-Defined Networks Using Pox Controller

    Load balancing is important in solving over-load traffic problems in the network. Therefore, it has been among the first appealing applications in Software Defined Networking (SDN) networks. Numerous SDN-based load-balancing approaches have been recommended to enhance the performance of SDN networks. However, network control could be more manageable in large networks with hundreds of switches and routers. The SDN is a unique way of building, controlling, and developing networks to modify this unpleasant situation. The major concept of SDN contains logically centralizing network management in an SDN controller, which manages and observes the behaviour of the network. Numerous load-balancing approaches are known, such as Round Robin (RR), random policy, Weighted randomized policy (WRP), etc. Every load-balancing policy approach has some benefits and detriments. This paper developed an advanced load-balancing algorithm, a dynamic weighted round-robin (DWRR), and ran it on the top of the SDN controller. Then we calculate the result of our proposed load-balancing approach by comparing it with the current round-robin (RR) and weighted round-robin (WRR) approaches. Mininet tool is utilized for the investigation, and the controller utilized as the control plane is named the POX controller

    Many Vata vyadhi are described in Charaka Samhita which are classified into Nanatmaja and Samanyaja group. Gridhrasi is one among 80 Vataja nanatmaja vyadhi. This can be correlated with Sciatica in modern medicine. Panchakarma presents a unique approach of Ayurveda. Among the Panchakarma, Vasti karma is such a Chikitsa that is indicated in all the Vatavyadhi. Gridhrasi is a Vata vyadhi, in which local Samprapti is having quiet major importance. In the procedure of Kativasti, Snehana and Svedana occur simultaneously and locally. So Matravasti and Kativasti have an important role as both come under Snehana treatment and have been selected for the study. Dhanvantara taila is indicated in Vata vyadhi and Tila taila is Marutaghnam, so both the Taila are selected for the study. In the present clinical study, 60 patients with Gridhrasi under inclusion criteria are selected and divided into four groups. The treatment is for 14 days. The efficacy of treatment is assessed immediately after treatment and after 15 days of completion of treatment by objective parameters and by adopting scoring methods for the subjective parameters and the results are analyzed statistically by ANOVA test. The results of the study indicate that the ‘p’ value is highly significant to extremely significant in all the four groups in selected parameters

    An Enhanced Table Driven Source Routing Protocol for Wireless Ad Hoc Networks

    Analysis of MANETs led to the research on network layer. Different routing protocols were designed for numerous objectives and purposes. The way data packets are handled with in a multi-hop wireless network refers to Opportunistic data forwarding. During present research, we propose enhanced table-driven source routing protocol. This protocol maintains additional topology information which is different from Distance Vector (DV) routing protocol. The proposed approach will reduce overhead compared to the ancient Distance Vector based protocols. Base on the test results performed using Computer Simulator (Network Simulator 2) observed that the overhead in the proposed solution is just a fraction of the overhead of the standard proactive protocols. Performance of the current solution is better for transportation of higher information compared to existing proactive routing protocols

    A SIMPLE AND A CHEAP UV ASSAY METHOD DEVELOPMENT AND VALIDATION FOR THE ESTIMATION OF EPLERENONE IN TABLETS

    Objective: To develop a simple and a cheap UV spectrophotometric assay method for the estimation of Eplerenone in tablets and validate as per ICH guidelines.Methods: The optimized method uses 100% potassium dihydrogen orthophosphate, pH 2.0 as a solvent for the estimation of assay of Eplerenone in tablets at a detection wavelength of 245 nm.Results: The developed method resulted in Eplerenone exhibiting linearity in the range 5-15μg/ml. System precision and intra-day precision are exemplified by relative standard deviation of 1.17% and 0.94% respectively. Method was found to be rugged as precision was found to be 1.52%. Percentage Mean recovery was found to be in the range of 98â€102 by percentage method during accuracy studies. Conclusion: A simple and a cheap UV spectrophotometric assay method were developed and validated for the estimation of Eplerenone in tablets as per ICH guidelines and hence it can be used for routine analysis in various pharmaceutical industries.Â

    EFFECT OF HYDROALCOHOLIC EXTRACT OF ACHYRANTHES ASPERA ON HALOPERIDOLINDUCED PARKINSON'S DISEASE IN WISTAR RATS

      Objective: Prolonged usage of neuroleptics in psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia provokes extrapyramidal symptoms that are also seen in Parkinson's disease. An attempt has been made to study the neuroprotective role of Achyranthes aspera hydroalcoholic (HA) extract on haloperidol-induced Parkinson's symptoms in Wistar rats.Methods: The present study deals with the antiparkinson effect of HA extract of A. aspera on haloperidol (2 mg/kg intraperitoneal administration)- induced catatonia in Wistar rats. The motor coordination in case of haloperidol-treated animals was studied by performing rotarod test and hang test. Dopamine and 3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid were estimated using an electrochemical detector and high-performance liquid chromatography. The antioxidant status was also assessed to know the neurotoxicity of haloperidol by estimating the levels of lipid peroxidation, superoxide dismutase, glutathione (GSH) peroxidase, and reduced GSH by performing individual assays.Results: All these assessments were done on 24 Wistar rats which were divided into four groups (n=6). HA was administered at 200 and 400 mg/kg doses, 30 minutes before haloperidol treatment for 20 days. HA significantly (*p<0.05, **p<0.01) improved the antioxidant status.Conclusion: The results shown that HA shows a protective role in haloperidol catalepsy and also possess antioxidant property
