    A comparative study of the prevalence of adverse drug reactions due to zidovudine/lamivudine/efavirenz (new default first line) and zidovudine/lamivudine/nevirapine (modified default first line) regimens was done in Mbeya Region, Tanzania. The new default first line regimen was found to be safer than the modified default first line regimen.
