    The effect of intimacy and communication media on self-disclosure

    本研究は,自己開示に及ばす相手との親密度とコミュニケーションメディアの影響を検討することを目的とした.コミュニケーションメディアとしては,対面,携帯電話,携帯メールを設定し,相手との親密度は高,低の2条件を設定した.コミュニケーションメディアを被験者内要因,親密度を被験者間要因の混合計画とし,大学生(高親密度条件が39名,低親密度条件が」5名)を対象に実験を行った.その際,先行研究を基に,次の3つの仮説を立てた.まず仮説iとして,コミュニケーションメディアの種類を問わず,高槻密度条件のほうが低親密度条件に比べて,自己開示量が多くなると推測した.仮説2として,高親密度条件では,対面条件において自己開示が最も多くなると推測した.仮説3として,低親密度条件では,携帯メール条件において自己開示が最も多くなると推測した.実験の結果,仮説1,仮説2は支持された.しかし,低親密度条件では,高親密度条件と同様,対面条件で自己開示崖が最も多くなり,仮説3は支持されなかった
