Children Maintenance: The Rights in Islamic Family Law and the Law of Thailand
Maintaining relationships in the family, parents are responsible for providing maintenance to children and provide them appropriate education. This responsibility to give until puberty or do have the capability to support themselves. This paper aims to discuss the position children maintenance in Islamic Family Law and the Law of Thailand. The discussion in this paper include provisions Islamic Famity Law and the Law of Thailand, whether the Civil Law or Islamic Family Law that has been used in the four districts of the Southern of Thailand which are Patani, Narathiwat, Yala and Satul. The discussion started by providing the definition of children maintenance and the children rights, as well as the children maintenance in the Islamic Family Law. Subsequently, the discussion followed by the explanation on the protection of the Islamic Family law in the Southern of Thailand and the Law of Thailand regarding the children maintenance. Tha research it can be concluded that giving maintenance is compulsory to be settled as explained in the al-Qur’an and al-Sunnah. children maintenance is the parents’ responsibility based on their capability. The rights and position of children maintenance is very precious to the community and laws as it is written in both laws to protect the children completely.

Sejarah kemunculan undang-undang keluarga Islam di selatan Thailand
Pemerintahan Thailand telah melalui empat zaman, iaitu bermula dengan zaman Sukhothai, Ayuthaya, Kerung Thon
Burhi dan Krung Ratana Kosin. Undang-undang keluarga Islam dilaksanakan bermula sejak zaman Sukhothai dengan
cara tidak rasmi sehingga pada zaman Krung Ratana Kosin. Kerajaan zaman Pra Chullachom Kelau Chau Yuhua telah
menggubal sebuah undang-undang keluarga Islam dan dapat dilaksanakan secara rasmi pada tahun 1945. Semenjak
itu, penggunaan undang-undang keluarga Islam dapat dilaksanakan di empat wilayah Selatan Thai iaitu Patani, Yala,
Naratiwat, dan Satul. Undang-undang ini dinamakan dengan “Lak Kodmai Islam Waduaiu Krobkrua Law Morodok”
(Kaedah Undang-Undang Islam: Keluarga dan Pusaka). Kemudian pihak kerajaan melantik seorang hakim Islam yang
dikenali sebagai Datok Yutitam bagi menyelesikan masalah kekeluargaan yang timbul dalam masyarakat
ANALISIS KATA SERAPAN BAHASA THAI DALAM BAHASA MELAYU PATANI :Studi kasus di Kampung Hutan Berangan, Patani, Thailand
This research is based on the growing influence of foreign language on Melayu Patani Language , where by there is continuous loss of Melayu Patani words due to the strong influence. Through this research, the researcher intends to rejuvenate the function of communities in Patani area in sustaining and maintaining Melayu Language.
The theory which has been used in this study is the theory of Morphology. Morphology is of theories used in applied linguistics which brings together language theories. This research is a case study using a descriptive approach. The informants of this research were locals from the village of Hutan Berangan, Kapho Patani. The techniques of data collection were through observation and audiovisual recoding. The results were recorded as field study notes. Data analysis was done in a qualitative descriptive manner.
The research reveals that many Thai words have been assimilated in Melayu Patani Language. These words have been integrated into the language of Melayu Patani as either the original words or shortened.
Masalah penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh semikin kuatnya pengaruh Bahasa Thai terhadap Bahasa Melayu Patani sehingga Bahasa Melayu Patani semakin hilang. Dengan alasan ini peneliti akan membangunkan masyarakat untuk melestarikan Bahasa Melayu Patani.
Adapun toeri yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah morfofonologi. Morfofonokogi merupakan teori linguistik terapan, yang menggabungkan antara teori berbahasa, yaitu morfologi dan fonologi.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kosakata serapan Bahasa Thai ke dalam Bahasa Melayu Patani. Penelitian ini merupakan studi kasus yang menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitianya adalah pendudukan Kampung Hutan Barangan, Kapho, Patani. Tehnik mengumpul data dilakukan dengan pengamatan dan merekam. Hasilnya kamudian dicatat dan dideskripsikan dalam catatan lapangan. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif
Hasil penelitian terhadap kata serapan Bahasa Thai dalam Bahasa Melayu Patani adalah banyak kosakata yang sudah menyerap kedalam Bahasa Melayu Patani baik dengan cara intergrasi maupun interferensi, ada Bahasa Thai yang diserap ke dalam Bahsa Melayu Patani mengalami penyingkatan ucapan, baik berubah maupun tidak berubah
Children’s Protection in the Issue of Hadhanah Based on Islamic Family Law and The Law of Thailand
This paper analyses Children Protection in
the Islamic Family Law of Southern Thailand
and the Civil Law of Thailand. The common
issue faced by the Court or the District
Islamic Department is the rising number of
hadhanah claim cases. This research is meant
to investigate the rights of children regarding
hadhanah based on the Islamic Family Law
of Southern Thailand and to what extent the
laws follow the principles of Islamic law.
This research utilized few approaches which
are the content, deductive, inductive, and
comparative analysis. Basically, the findings
suggest that the differences between the two
laws can be accepted as both laws originated
from distinguished backgrounds. Therefore,
both laws play crucial roles in completely
protecting the children in hadhanah cases,
as well as promising safety and peaceful life
for the children even though their parents’
relationship is in crisis
Tahap profesionalisme guru agama dan keberkesanannya di Maahad Muhammadi Perempuan, Kota Bharu, Kelantan, Malaysia
The professionalism of teaching is an important task that should be taken by every
religious teacher. It is closely linked to the quality and excellence of teachers and
students. This article aims to examine the level of professionalism among religious
teachers of the Maahad Muhammadi (Girls), in Kota Bharu. To gather the
information, this study used both qualitative and quantitative approaches.
Qualitative data was gathered by using content analysis, while quantitative data
was collected by distributing a survey of 57 respondents according to the Krejcie and
Morgan schedule and interviews with school management committee members and
school principals. The results of this study show that the teacher professionalism is
at satisfied level while there is still room for improvement for interpersonal skills
Pencapaian profesionalism keguruan dalam kalangan guru agama alumni Academy Pengajian Islam dan Bahasa Arab, Princess of Naradhiwas University (AIAS-PNU)
Profesionalisme keguruan adalah suatu pencapaian yang sangat penting yang perlu dicapai oleh setiap guru agama.
Hal ini mempunyai kaitan yang rapat dengan pembentukan kualiti dan kecemerlangan guru dan pelajar.Kertas kerja
ini bertujuan untuk meninjau konsep profesionalisme keguruan dalam perspektif Islam dan tahap pencapaiannya
dalam kalangan guru agama alumni Academy of Islamic and Arabic Studies, Princess of Naradhiwas University
AIAS-PNU. Bagi mendapatkan maklumat tersebut, dua pendekatan digunakan dalam kajian ini iaitu pendekatan
kualitatif dan pendekatan kuantitatif. Kajian kuantitatif dijalankan secara temubual terhadap responden yang terlibat
secara langsung dengan guru agama iaitu guru besar dan ahli akademik di sekolah menengah agama swasta di
wilayah Selatan Thailand seramai 16 orang responden. Dalam mengukur pencapaian profesionalisme keguruan ini,
lima item digunakan iaitu moral dan amalan positif, kemahiran intelektual, sosial dan komunikasi, ilmu pengetahuan
dan amanah dan tanggungjawab. Hasil kajian memnunjukkan bahawa item moral dan amalan positif paling tinggi
berada pada tahap baik dengan peratusan 40 peratus diikuti tahap sederhana 35 peratus dan tahap rendah 25 peratus.
Item kemahiran intelektual dapati penilaian paling tinggi ialah tahap rendah dengan peratusan 42 peratus diikuti
tahap sederhana 32 peratus dan tahap baik 26 peratus. Item sosial dan komunikasi dapati penilaian paling tinggi ialah
tahap baik dengan peratusan 60 peratus diikuti tahap sederhana 26 peratus dan tahap rendah 14 peratus. Item ilmu
pengetahuan dapati penilaian paling tinggi ialah tahap sederhana dengan peratusan 55 peratus diikuti tahap baik
23 peratus dan tahap rendah 22 peratus. Akhirnya item amanah dan tanggungjawab dapati penilaian paling tinggi
ialah tahap sederhana dengan peratusan 43 peratus diikuti tahap baik 35 peratus dan tahap rendah 22 peratus. Hasil
kajian secara amnya menggambarkan kedudukan guru agama kelulusan AIAS-PNU berada pada tahap yang sangat
membimbangkan. Demikian berpunca daripada beberapa faktor sama ada aspek dalaman mahupun luaran.Dalam
usaha meningkatkan pencapaian kualiti guru agama adalah tanggungjawab setiap pihak harus bekerjasama dalam
memastikan pencapaian kualiti guru agama berada pada kedudukan yang memberangsangkan
