Changes in mesh sizes of cod-end netting of trawls used by the trawlers type B-18 during their exploitation

    No full text
The present paper describes studies on changes in mesh sizes of the cod-end netting of trawls used by the B-18 type freezing trawlers belonging to the Deep Sea Fisheries Company (PPDiUR) "Odra" in 艢winouj艣cie. Measurements of the mesh sizes were taken from 6 cod-ends of bottom and pelagic trawlers, using a Polish Longitudinal-force mesh gauge. It was shown that a significant increase of .mesh sizes in the trawl cod-ends occurred during the trawl exploitation. Meshes of the upper part of trawls subjected to the greater deformations. Detailed results of investigations are given in Table 2 and 3

Okre艣lono zmiany obj臋to艣ci stwardnia艂ych zaczyn贸w, jak r贸wnie偶 dynamik臋 narastania wytrzyma艂o艣ci i czas wi膮zania. Ustalono do艣wiadczalnie proporcje sk艂adnik贸w mieszanek ekspansywnych oraz receptury spoiw. Dokonano pr贸b wyja艣nienia zmian obj臋to艣ci w funkcji zawarto艣ci poszczeg贸lnych sk艂adnik贸w - przeprowadzono badania sk艂adu fazowego hydratyzuj膮cych materia艂贸w oraz obserwacje mikroskopowe. The shrinkage-less and expansive binders were produced by mixing of different portland cements with an expansive agent composed of calcium aluminate cement and special sulfate-lime sinter. The volume changes, strength development and setting of binders were characterized. In the experiments the proportions of expansive mixtures and cementitious materials were stated. The investigations with aim to find the relationship between the volume changes and composition of initial mixtures were also carried out - the phase composition studies and microscopic observations were done

Wprowadzenie do medycyny lek贸w hamuj膮cych angiogenez臋 por贸wnywane jest do ery wprowadzenia antybiotyk贸w w XX w. Udost臋pnienie w Polsce we wrze艣niu 2010 r. w ramach refundacji NFZ najnowocze艣niejszej i dotychczas najbardziej skutecznej terapii wysi臋kowej postaci zwyrodnienia plamki zwi膮zanego z wiekiem z zastosowaniem iniekcji doszklistkowych przeciwcia艂a monoklonalnego anty-VEGF (ranibizumab) wprowadzi艂o nowe standardy leczenia. W niniejszym artykule podj臋li艣my pr贸b臋 oceny efekt贸w leczenia w postaci wysi臋kowej AMD w ramach grupy terapeutycznej B02.Introduction into medicine of the drugs which inhibit angiogenesis is comparable with introduction of antibiotics in the 20th century. Admission in Poland, in September 2010, the most effective therapy of the wet form of AMD in which intravitreal injections containig monoclonal antibody anti-VEGF (ranibizumab) is used, introduced new standards of the treatment of wAMD. This therapy is refunded by NFZ. The aim of this article is to evaluate the effects of the AMD treatments within the framework of the therapeutic group B02

Magnetic Properties of "As-Prepared" and Chemically Modified Multiwalled Carbon Nanotubes

    No full text
In this work we have studied the structural and magnetic properties of "as-prepared" multiwalled carbon nanotubes, synthesized by the chemical vapor deposition method, and chemically modified multiwalled carbon nanotubes. Transmission electron microscopy was used to show multiwalled carbon nanotubes structure. The results of systematic magnetic property measurements on multiwalled carbon nanotubes are presented. The static and dynamic magnetic responses, such as the temperature dependence of the linear AC susceptibility and DC magnetization up to 9 T were studied. We have observed significant changes in magnetic AC susceptibility and magnetization for "as-prepared" and chemically modified multiwalled carbon nanotubes samples
